Festival 2

The next day, as promised, Asriel went on a date with Mikasa. Annie was also going to join them secretly but Mikasa got to her first. Annie was tied up and left behind at their cabin, making Mina watch her.

" Uuuu~ I also wanted to go around and check out the festival today," complained Mina.

" Mmn! Hhmmm! Mmmn!" (Annie)

" Hmm? Ah, sorry Annie, it's not my fault that I'm scared of Mikasa! She looked like a demon when she came in and started tying you up. And that look she gave me when she said to look after you.....uuuwaa, thinking about it is sending chills down my back, I rather not go against her," replied Mina to a tied up and gagged Annie.

" Ughh," Annie rolled her eyes in annoyance when she heard what Mina said. She started to think of something to get out of her bounds when she realized that she could turn her hand or finger into extremely sharp crystal swords. Annie wanted to facepalm herself but couldn't as she is still bound, she sighed at her predicament and started to free herself.

" Don't worry Annie, I'll not let you starve, I'll feed you myself!" said Mina determinedly unaware that Annie was already free of her bonds and was just waiting for her to turn around to knock her unconscious.

" So Annie, I..I'm not trying to brag but I have confidence in my cooking so I'm sure you're gonna like it, no doubt!" said Mina with a balled-up fist and a determined look.

" Mmnnnn Mnn," replied Annie with a deadpan look.

" Oh right, I forgot, silly me, how can you talk with that in your mouth, here let me help you," said Mina as she smacked her forehead with her palm and started to undo the gag in Annie's mouth.

" *Phwa* Thanks...by the way who is that?" asked Annie in her usual cold voice while directing Mina behind her with her chin.

" Eh? There shouldn't be anyo...." Mina turned around to look but before she could finish her sentence she was knocked unconscious by Annie.

" Sorry that you had to be involved Mina but you can only blame yourself for this," said Annie while removing the remaining bonds off of her.

[ Now to find Asriel and that insufferable Mikasa, hmm, a sure quick way is to....] thought Annie as she suddenly smiled and made her way towards the festival.

" Eru! Over here, I reserved a seat for you," shouted Mikasa when she spotted Asriel coming towards her with a handful of snacks and drinks.

" Here you go, great job getting a seat near the stage Mikasa," Asriel said as he temporarily handed her the things in his hands while he makes himself comfortable and giving a pat on her head.

" Mnn, it wasn't that hard actually, at first there were some that wanted to take your seat and as I was about to explain that it was already taken, they suddenly decided to go find some other place to sit. So was the others. Weird," replied Mikasa as she melted from his hands without realizing that the snacks and drinks were already back in Asriel's hands. She only realized it after a while and wanted to hold it for him but was declined. It was a bowl filled with popcorn that Asriel bought from his system and some refreshments such as cola and pepsi. He held it between them so that Mikasa could also eat from it.

" I thought such plays would be done in the evening, I guess they decided to do it twice," Asriel said to himself while Mikasa just hummed hearing that. Asriel thought back to how they found this stage show. They were looking around the festival, enjoying themselves when they heard a commotion near them with people crowding around what seems to be a half-constructed stage. Mikasa seemed to be interested in it so they made their way there to find out what kind of show that was going to take place later on.

They found out that it was going to be about how the wife of a noble, who was captured and was put in a jail cell underneath the noble's house by the mistress while she lives happily with the noble, escape her captivity and rejoin beside her beloved while putting the mistress in her place. Mikasa lost interest pretty quickly but decided to watch it since her Eru convinced her that it might be funny, that, and imagining herself in the wife's position while Annie in the mistress position made her wanting to watch this show.

Asriel was taken out of his thoughts when the narrator came on the stage and started to narrate the story. What surprised him though was that someone who he was extremely familiar with appears on the stage when the narrator introduces the noble, wife, and mistress as they act out their script. Asriel chuckled as he felt that he made the right choice to watch this show. Beside him, Mikasa was equally shocked when she saw who the wife was.

Although disguised by heavy makeup it was easy for the people who interacted with her a lot to know that the actor portraying the wife was Annie. Asriel didn't know how she managed to get the spot as the actress but was impressed by her acting. Also, he felt the story seems quite familiar and figured it might have something to do with the relationship between him and the girls. What made him 100% sure was the actor portraying the mistress have the same hairstyle and color as Mikasa and a black scarf while the noble have the same hair color as him but didn't resemble him physically, probably because a girl was portraying the character. Asriel laughed inside his mind as he found this amusing and knowing that this wasn't serious as Mikasa and Annie were always trying to one-up each other while holding no resentment towards one another. It was their way of friendship for one another.

While Asriel was having the time of his life, Mikasa beside him was silent the whole time since she saw Annie on stage, thinking about something, no doubt she has come to the same conclusion as Asriel. Mikasa seemed to have an epiphany as she excused herself saying that she needed to go to the toilet. As soon as she got out of Asriel's view, she went to the backstage where the actors would go after acting out their script and waiting for their time again. Fortunately for Mikasa, the actor that dressed up to look like Mikasa was waiting for her part backstage so she quickly knocked her out when no one was looking and put on her clothes.

" Darling, there is a festival going on today, why don't you accompany me to it? Leave the hard work for that mistress of yours, I'm sure she can handle it," acted Annie cooly. Annie was having fun doing this, at first, she wanted to just annoy Mikasa with this show but as she acted she got slowly into character and couldn't help starting to enjoy it.

" I...." (The other actor)

" What are you talking about, in fact, if it wasn't for me giving up the position of wife because of you begging for me to, you wouldn't be saying this, much less here at all," Mikasa said as she barged onto the stage. Both Annie and the actor were surprised as this wasn't in the script at all but Annie quickly regained her wits and replied,

" Ara, I thought you have some work to do, no? You should finish them first before barging into darling's study," replied Annie as she put one of her arms underneath her breast to support them while the other reaches for her face to cup her cheek.

" As the wife, it is your duty to finish those work, but knowing how lazy you are and only wanting darling's affection, I finished them in your place, as such I didn't have much time to even spend with darling," replied Mikasa in a sad voice while acting dramatic, well, as dramatic as she could which is not much. While they were busy going at each other, Asriel changed places with the other actor on the stage, smiling slightly at the actor and saying everything is fine.

" Huh, who are you calling lazy, you....you....idiot," replied Annie trying to find a better word but couldn't and just spouted what came to mind first while her face growing redder in embarrassment. The audience below couldn't help but thought how cute she looks right now.

" Idiot.....is that all you have to say?" replied Mikasa with a small smirk. Before the both of them talk with their fists, Asriel wrapped them up in his arms and into his embrace while saying gently,

" That's enough girls, you both know I love you both equally, I don't know why you made up such positions because I remember making you both my wives but no matter what, I love you both so much and would never treat you differently or unfairly because you both are dear to me and I couldn't imagine a world without you two, so stop fighting...ok?"

The girls nodded while their faces were buried into his chest as much as they could so that he wouldn't see their embarrassed but happy faces. His words made them so happy that they felt like they were on cloud nine in his embrace, as they snuggled into him as if they were trying to fuse with him.

" Uhhh, wha...um....eh...????" was one of the audience's reaction seeing Asriel and the girls while they were enjoying themselves in their own little world forgetting that they were still on the stage.
