A Fūinjutsu Genius

————

Seemingly not noticing my presence, Shira grit his teeth even harder before closing his eyes and screaming.

He was giving it one final push.

"DAISAN KA-"

Just as he approached the next activation, his muscles jerked uncontrollably, causing him to fall to his knees; The yellow aura surrounding him disappeared in an instant along with his red skin.

The mind was willing but the body wasn't.

With his mouth still wide open form the screaming, *Shira's* body sluggishly fell.

Before his face could reach the ground, a thick cloud of sand cushioned his body; I lifted him up with it and carried his unconscious body with me to the hospital.

Although I can appreciate hard work, one should still remain cautious, After all, you only have one body. I should really give him a talking to when he wakes up.

It wasn't long before we reached the hospital, where the nurse gasped at the sight of *Shira's* body. All she could see were the bruises on the surface though, if she saw the state of his muscles and joints she would probably faint. I know the toll this technique has on the body... if it's in any way similar to the eight gates, one should be prepared for the consequences.

They immediately placed him on a stretcher and carried him over to get scanned. Even though I wasn't with them, I could tell by the nurses rushing around the hospital that they had noticed his inner wounds. I sat in the reception and crossed my arms to meditate. Since I'm here, might as well wait.

————

After what felt like a coupe of hours, a nurse guided me to *Shira's* room. He was unconscious, and his whole body was wrapped in bandages. Although the technique might be fearsome in battle, the same can be said for it's side effects. Especially on a thirteen-year-old kid with no teacher.

If I had to guess, he can probably maintain the first activation for a while without injuring himself. The second would obviously be more taxing, so I'd say about five minutes before severe drawbacks occur. The third is undoubtedly a stretch for now.

Although his body is ready to use this technique, I don't think he has the experience or the knowledge to take it further yet. On the other hand, Lee, who not only has a technique that has been perfected through generations, also has a master to teach him. I know how strong *Might Guy* is, the man can go against a *Madara* fused with the *Jūbi*.

Since it seems like *Shira* won't wake up in a while, I left a sand-eye in the room before taking my leave. Using this technique over the years, I subsequently can use it as either a tracking device or a security camera; The range is decent.

It's complicated, but basically a bunch of *chakra* keeps an unconscious part of my brain connected to the eye at all times. In a way, it slightly resembles *shadow-clones*. The eye is semi-conscious, and can alert me of any problems.

In all likelihood, I might have created another *Jutsu* entirely, but I still don't know exactly how it works so it could just be an upgrade to the original.

Before I knew it, I was already at my father's office. He was drowning in paperwork, as always.

The reason for which I came here is simple; I want some pointers for sealing. Being the *Kazekage*, if he's willing to teach me, he undoubtedly becomes my greatest resource, after the system of course. Although he may not be a specialist, I'm sure that he's way above average.

"Oh, *Gaara*. What brings you here? You're not a frequent visitor."

"I came here to hopefully get some help with my training. You see, I've taken a liking to the art of sealing. I already know the basic theory and I can use the *finger-carving seal*."

He looked at me with a surprised face; I continued speaking.

"I'm currently learning learning the *Enclosing Technique*, Even though I studied all night yesterday, I'm still unable to make it work."

Rasa's face was now seriously surprised, and he took a while to recover. Clearing his throat, he started speaking.

"So you're telling me that you know the basics of sealing and that you can perform the *finger-carving seal*? The technique we teach Stronger, more experienced *Chūnin*?"

Really? Only experienced *Chūnin* get to learn this? I knew sealing was a complicated and uncommon technique, but for it to be this restricted... I might have shot myself in the foot by coming here.

Thankfully, Rasa started speaking again, sparing me the need to explain myself.

"I won't ask you where you learned this; Every ninja has some secrets. On the other hand, if what you say is true, I want to test it first. Here."

Reaching for his drawers, he took out a medium-sized stone-plate and handed it to me with a look of expectation.

"Write your name on it using the *finger-carving seal*. Come on, show me."

Nodding, I took the plate and focused my chakra on my index finger. This technique required chakra control levels almost as high as medical ninjutsu. For me, it was a piece of cake.

Soon, a pale blue chakra flame manifested on my finger. Under Rasa's shocked gaze, I started carving my name on the plate using the heat of the flame; It technically is very similar to *Katon*[1], but It's more precise and harder to control than a real flame.

Characters slowly started appearing on the surface of the plate as my finger moved slowly and gracefully along the stone. Soon, the characters for '*Gaara of the Desert*' were visible. Looking up, I noticed Rasa was still surprised.

He quickly recovered, and inspected the stone one more time.

"So you weren't boasting..."

Convinced, he took out a scroll and brush-set before having me sit down on the floor.

"You said you needed pointers. Show me how far you've gotten in *Enclosing Technique*. I need to know where you're going wrong."

Although he said that, I could tell from his expression that he still didn't completely believe me. Well, from what I gathered today, it seems like any kid my age knowing this *Jutsu* would be outrageous. Smirking, I put pen to paper.

Alright, let's show off a little.

Taking a deep breath, I dipped the brush into some ink and raised it above the paper. I stayed like this for a moment, as my body and mind were starting to sync. It wasn't long before I was in meditation.

In this state, my brain becomes more agile. Using this to my advantage, I finally placed the pen on the scroll.

The foreign characters quickly started appearing on the paper's surface, my hand demonstrated great agility as it flew around the scroll. Every now and then, I would focus my *Chakra* in certain ways to connect pieces of writing.

As I wrote, my mind sincronizad with my body even further, and I felt my connection with the world increase. I was unconsciously making breakthroughs in my learning as I wrote. I've never felt this good.

Soon, a complex-looking, algorithm-like block of text appeared on the paper. It was unreadable to the untrained eye. All of the characters converged at the center, where a blank circle was left untouched.

Not waiting for Rasa's comments, I took the stone plate that had my name inscribed on it and placed it in the center of the scroll. I then placed one hand on it, my free hand performing the seal of confrontation.

"Fūin!" (Seal!)
