FRIGHTENING

Both were standing in the still moonlight behind the curtains, silence around the whole balcony where one was gazing at the moon while the other was gazing at the beautiful lady that stood infront of him.

William cleared his throat and said,"Help me with this thing called Love", Anne said,"What do you want to know about it?". William said, "Let's start with what love is".Anne said,"Tell me then, take me as your student , enlighten me with your knowledge of love"(Anne softened her tone as she pronounced the word love). William looked at her as she pronounced the word 'love', he found it sweet.He said to her ,"What do you expect to learn from me, a blank person who knows only about fighting in war and looking after the kingdom, I never intended to indulge myself in falling in love.I always thought love to be a parasite that only destroys our future.The only thing that kills you without letting you bleed but with extreme pain. In short if my life will be endangered if I fall in love then I better stay away from it.I don't even know how it feels to be in love, I guess I don't want to". Anne was deeply listening to what he was saying, she said,"But from the way you described love, it seems that you reget for not falling in love with anyone". William led out a deep breath and said,"Maybe I regret it because i did once, back then maybe it was what people call 'love' but the feeling was only from my side, I was betrayed, I then found out that she was a spy and she tried to play the love game and tried to attack our kingdom. She was from our enemy kingdom. Her name was Anneliese, I called her Anne back then.Bitch!". Anne got goosebumps, her throat dry, heavy breath , face turned pale, lots of thought ran throughout her mind, among them she could only figure out the words," That was why he hate me, because of the name, because he thought that I might be playing with him the same game". He was staring at her like a tiger about to eat his prey.She was the deer in front of him. He went near her and said,"Did it scare you, if it did then stay away from me next time, after her you are the second person I hate the most". Anne found it hard to breathe as he almost leaned towards her ear and she felt his warm breath on her shoulder.The atmosphere became suddenly cold.She spoke with small voice,"Is it because of the name?",He leaned further to her, his lips almost touching her ears.He said in a deep and frightening voice,"Yes". Now Anne felt more uncomfortable, hairs on her body now fully raised and her whole body was shivering, her lips, ears and her cheeks turned red hot. Standing in the same position he said staring at her lips then at her eyes,"I tore away her lips on which I once laid my warm kiss, and put a sword deep on her evil heart, the blood ran down the sword only then I could find peace in my heart, but at the same time it also pained a lot.That evil wench also had a one month old baby.I killed it too.(walking away from her) Probably because it deserved to die.I also killed it's father, it was the third Prince of the kingdom." Anne's eyes were filled with horror. While she turned around and was about to leave, one of the net cloth of her dress was stuck on the broken glass vase.She tried to remove it but accidentally injured her hand deeply leaving it bleed (Anne:Fuck it! No time for this.I need to leave), she left immediately. William could see fear in her eyes and enjoyed it.As he was shifting his eyes away her, he saw blood drops on the glass vase that was half broken.

She went to her room, threw away the clothes she was wearing and immediately put her night gown, dressed her wound and went to bed.She covered herself with the blanket and sat on her bed the whole night.
