Chapter 2

Hybrid | l•r•h

Jimin walked around downtown Seoul before finally settling down to sit on the coast. He made sure that he was completely alond before taking off his grey beanie and his golden ears lifted themselves out of his blonde locks.

He hated having to hide that he was a hybrid, but it was better than getting shipped off to be experimented on. His lifted his flannel up that he had on and his golden tail flipped through the wind of the waves.

Jimin was lucky to only have a tail and ears to hide. Some hybrids have whiskers or paws for feet. He was also born not genetically made like most. His mother was a 'made' hybrid and all of the Hemmings brothers were hybrids.

Jin was a grey hybrid with white and grey ears. His tail was long with a white dot on the tip. Tae was black and orange with whiskers, ears, and a tail.

Jimin missed his family so much. He wished he could hold his mother in his arms and tell her he loved her one last time. They, excluding his father Park, were taken when he was at a friends house. When he came home he noticed his father crying on the couch.

Jimin wiped his tear away and sniffled his nose. He always got emotional, thinking about his family. He didn't know if they were still walking around or if they were 6 feet under. He just wanted to be with them and hear their voices one last time.

When Jimin saw the sun start to rise, he brushed off the back of his pants and fixing his beanie before walking back to the boys house, whose name he still didn't know.

Jungkook was sitting on a chair in the dining room with a tissue in his hand and the other on his forehead, supporting him. He was upset that the kitten had left. He'd grown attatched to him so quickly that his heartbroke.

Jungkook was never one to sleep well. He had bad insomnia and would stay up or go to sleep, but wake up shortly after. Tonight was one of those nights.

As he sat in the thinking about why Jimin left, he took a sip of his coffee and felt more alone then he had in years. He wasn't depressed or anything, he was just sad.

He wanted to call his dad, because he was a daddy's boy, but he knew it was time for his parents to go to bed and he didn't want to keep them awake.

He ran a hand, collecting all the little pieces of hair that had fallen out of his messy hair, and let out a sigh. He wiped his nose one last time before getting up and pouring out the rest of his coffee cup in the sink and rinsing out the glass.

he walked back to his bedroom and tried crawling back into bed and falling asleep, but he heard his front door open and close. He grabbed the bat from under his bed, he keeps it there for situations like this, and walked back to the main room for the second time tonight, but stopped when he saw a man around his age.

He didn't ever notice him, but when he did his blue eyes shot open and Jungkook looked at the man perplexed. The tall blonde boy wanted to curl up in a ball and hide like the little kitten he is, but it was like every bone and muscle in his body locked up.

Jungkook was the first one to break the silence after staring into the pearly blues for a while. The boy stood there with tears almost about to spill as the thoughts ran through his mind at the moment the name left his lips.

"Jimin?"
