Erica shifted away from her grandmother with a suspicious look. *KECHUK* The door to the mansion opened and to and a tall refined man came through. With his neatly trimmed mustache and the noble aura, he was no doubt one to be respected for a man in his early forties he looked younger.
"I see you're vying for an Oscar nomination."
When her eyes landed on the man Erica run and gave him a longing hug. "Daddy."
The man looked just as shocked as the old woman was when she was hugged.
"My dear do you have a fever or are you drunk."
"I see now I can't hug anyone with being mentally sane."
Mr. Keller: No that's-
Erica: It's okay that's not what I came here for.
Suddenly the room turned silent so quiet that one could hear a water drop. They all stayed silent waiting for her next word.
Suddenly she kowtowed. "I'm sorry for all the bad things I have said and done to you. Please forgive me I've been foolish an immature but I promise to change. Do and say whatever you want to me I promise I'll accept it."
Keller Ji's heart ached at the sight of his daughter's action he was about to go and help her up, tell her it's okay, hug her and tell her that there's no need to apologize. Before he could make a move he was blocked by the old woman's hand. He looked at her as her in confusion. The old lady had a sharp expression with a serious aura surrounding her as she looked at her granddaughter this alone left him unable to object.
The atmosphere remained unbearably silent while the old woman kept her sharp look. She gracefully stood up she elegantly walked toward her granddaughter. She slowly bent down and help her up. Looking straight into her granddaughter's innocent-looking eyes she hugged her.
"It's okay dear that's all in the past. Besides it's no good to be doing such a thing in your condition."
Erica's eyes flew open. Did she find out? How is that possible? She never told her.
"In her condition?" Her father asked with a perplexed look.
"Yes she… got a serious fever and was burning up her teacher called to tell us."
"Oh I see."
Erica's was quite surprised seeing her grandmother send her a secret wink.
'She knew!' Well as expected of the old Mrs. Zhao, her network chains are incredible.
Come lets take a walk in the garden this place is a bit stuffy." Mrs. Zhao suggested. The walk in the the fresh air was quite refreshing especially for Erica who had to deal with morning sickness. They took a break in the Gazebo.
Erica went ahead and sat in the rattan swing chair.
"Oh that won't do the chain might come loose. Falling in this state will not be good news."
"Mom your unusually cautious of her movements." Keller Ji spoke out after noticing his mother's unusual behavior. This scene gave him a sense of Déjà vu this was exactly how she acted when his wife was pregnant with Erica. 'Wait can it be…Is it? No impossible.' He thought.
"Erica has some important news to deliver to you."
"What is it." The man was starting to fidget at this point.
Erica walked to him and took hold of his hand and brought it to her belly. "Dad your going to become a grandfather."
The man's face went blank at her words. It took a while before he could process her words. His family turned grim. "Who did this to you which unrestrained cock-head did this to you."
ML: *Achoo* Who dares to curse me.
"Was it John."
"No…it's not him thank goodness for that."
"I thought you loved him."
"Ew dad don't insult me like that."
"Why is that?"
Erica explained what had happened, their schemes her rebirth and all what she and Zian went through before she was reborn. The two remained silent in deep thought all the schemes she revealed made sense and their daughter(granddaughter) wasn't one to lie.
"To think my perfect porcupine went through all this. But you definitely got back at them right?"
"Oh yeah I did. I sort of took the in whole Keller group in a huge explosion with them and I still in it."
"I see."
"Aren't you mad."
"No I'd rather have the entire Keller group plummet than to have those leeches take over it."
"Huh."
"So what are you planning to do."
"Put them in their place."
"How are you going to do that." The old woman asked with a mischievous smirk.
"I can't have such vile creatures living in my house."
"No dad the closer they are to us the easier it will be. It's better that they stay in our sites than in the shadows. From this point the hunter becomes the hunted." Her last words were strong and valiant with a fire burning in her eyes. She planned to return everything they had done to her tenfold. She was no longer the weak and clueless Erica who was trampled on, now even if she gets trampled on she will still bite back.
