To Welcome A New Year Day!

At Rose's house....

"Aren't you going out this year, Rose!"

Her father was encouraging.

But Rose was not sure.

"I would rather stay with you. You just come out of hospital not so long ago!"

"I'm ok..and besides, your grandmother is here...!"

Her grandmother was sitting beside her.

At that moment, Rose's mother just came out dressed in a very fashionable style.

"Yeah let's go Rose, my daughter... you have been your father and grandmother for long enough...it's only once a year ... you didn't count down the year before in our hometown too...!"

"Accompany her Rose...!" Her grandmother exclaimed.

"How about my two brothers...?" Rose said.

"Your brothers are already gone there with their friends..!"

Rose thought about it.

Just then, Mina just knocked at their door ..and came inside Mrs Park opened the door for her.

Mina just came to invited Rose...

Rose finally had to agree.

Well... crowded time were good sometimes.

Rose just choose to wear her comfortable orange sweat and jeans and a scarf. It was cold outside although the snow were not falling much... almost none at all so that the count down would be more fun.

In the middle of Busan people were just enjoying the last day and night for the present year.

There was a stage... people were already partying it ready to welcome a new year. Rose and Mina also came to sit nearby restaurant. The Kim and Chae families were also in the same restaurant.

At the time of course, Lee Min Hong was near that restaurant too. He decided to go there. It was a time before he could finally find a space to park his car.

He was entering there when he saw Kim Eunwoo, who noticed Rose and Mina, stood up from his seat and went to Rose and Mina's table.

And Lee Min Hong saw him handing a beautiful percel to Rose.

At Rose smiled and said.

"Thank you ...!"

Lee Min Hong just remembered .. yeah it's new year. It would be great opportunity to give gifts too. He had just wanted to be near Rose and forgot all those customs. But what should be his gift?

At the table, Mrs Kim spoke up.., looking at Chae Soo Bin, who was looking bored.

"Son, Jin, Why don't you take Soo Bin to see how's celebration going on outside..!"

"Me taking her..!"

Well, you both are same generation of age..so it is appropriate to befriend with each other..!"

Kim Seokjin looked at his father, who just nodded that he probably should go.

And Seokjin just turned to Chae Soo Bin.

"Soo Bin yah..Yep..it looks interesting outside..if you like.. let's go and see what are they doing there!"

Chae Soo Bin was overjoyed. And so the two just went out.

Kim Seokjin was happy enough to make friends with this lady however he was not so sure about what was his parents intention at all.

On this year eve, Mrs Lee just stayed at her hotel and listen to music in her room. She somehow missed her husband, Mr Lee. They had spent quite good together. Especially in year holidays which if she could recall his full holidays.

At this time in Seoul, Lady Calla was enjoying her time at the restaurant at the second floor on the balcony. She could see crowded people enjoying time outside.

She took a sip of wine.

Another lady was sitting opposite of the table facing her too.

"I hope you will forget about him soon, big sister!"

"Well, I'm enjoying heartbreak...it's bittersweet!"

"Well men just hungry of wealth...!"

"Any human being does" Lady Calla said.

"You should not have leave him...I mean Mr Lee .. he really loved you!"

Lady Calla took another sip of wine.

"Life and emotions are more complicated than you think young lady!"

Lady Calla turn to look outside again.

"New places are great.. I'm feeling different and fresh than when I was in the US...and maybe I will experience new things and meet new people here.... Sometimes I think of Max too....I heard he came back here ..... maybe fate will play us to meet again..."

She looked at another lady again...

"You want to be a model don't you... let's work hard for it!"

"Yes, sister!"

Rose and Mina came out to join the crowd celebration.

Rose was enjoying people show on stage, so Mina just said.

"I think I will go get some drinks for us...wait for me here my Rose!"

Rose nodded.

When Mina was gone, Rose looked at her watch on her waist.

Ummm....why would Eunwoo gave her this kind of gift. Did he really like her in that way.. more than friends?

Umm.... maybe she was just thinking too much. Eunwoo was her good friend and she did not want to lose him. So she would be better not think too much.

Just then, she saw a man hand giving her a pink balloon which had the alphabets "ROSE" written on it. Rose looked up at the man. It was Lee Min Hong.

"Are you giving it too me?"

"Yes... it's my new year gift for you!"

That made Rose laughed.

"Boss, I am not a kid, anymore!"

"Adults do need them sometimes too... you know what ...new year is very near... you should have a balloon to welcome it.. besides you can make a wish to it...to wish for better years to come. and and let it go high above the sky... at the same time releasing all your troubles with it too!"

Rose was still confused with what he had said but she took his gift.
