THE KEY

Bora's room was just adjacent to Hannah's. She went to the Boss's office and asking for the key for the cabinet in Bora's room. Bradlix checked his watch. It was five minutes after 8.00 am the secretary came and asking for the key in the safety. The request had his attention to look up at his secretary's face. He stared at her and then asked her.

"How did you know the key is in the safety box?"

"Is there any problem with the key boss?"

"No,…." he paused "… just asking."

Bradlix opened the safety box and took out the key. It was his wife's personal key to open the cabinet in the office. The only key for the cabinet.

"Probably she told her about the key," he said to himself

"Boss, the new staff is in her office."

"Noted. Thank you," said him in his cold voice.

The secretary felt the shiver of goosebumps after hearing the sound of husky but cold. Quickly she walked out from the cold room.

While Bradlix continued his checking on the documents. Geremy didn't even care about his surrounding. He kept on drawing pictures on the table.

After two hours, Bradlix brought Geremy to buy a new shirt for him not far from Irene's house. After they bought the shirt they went to go and fetch Aeron.

"Ok buddy, let's get your brother."

He turned his car to the right corner from the main road.

From far they could see the green and white house of double story cottage not far from the corner. Bradlix expected his youngest son would throw a tantrum at the house to know that the father left him with the stranger.

Little that he expected, his son was in a good manner and in a good mood. He saw him was playing happily with another boy probably same age with him at the yard with Irene supervised them by sitting on the chair under the tree next to the garden table. Irene waved at them.

"Daddy! Daddy!!" Aeron called out for his father. He was so happy to see his father with his brother. He ran towards them.

"There you are. How's day buddy?" greeted Bradlix to Aeron.

"Mommy's here!"

He pointed to Mdm Irene where's he was actually pointed to the house.

Bradlix heart was skipped for a beat to hear that. He was almost fell for it but then quickly realized that it wasn't what he would expect. He could not say anything but just picked him up and patted his back. He walked straight to Mdm Irene and thanked her for taking care of Aeron that day.

"Don't worry Mr Stones. It's my pleasure."

"We will go for now. See you again. Thank you very much."

"You are welcome."

The family went to their home in the city. It took them 45 minutes to reach t their house.

At home, Aeron kept on asking his father to send him to their nanny. He was asking the same question over and over again until Bradlix was getting annoyed with him.

"Daddy, send me back to mommy."

"She is not you mommy, son. She is your nanny. Nanny Irene."

"Can you send me to mommy?"

"If you keep saying Mdm Irene is your mommy, I will not send you there. " Bradlix was frustrated to hear Aeron calling Mdm Irene as his mother.

"What if their mother heard it? It would break her heart!" He said it in his heart painfully.

Aeron looked at his father's face. He saw his father was displeased when he called out for mommy.

"Send me to aunt Irene, daddy.I want to go there."

He spoke with his little voice.

Bradlix sighed and rubbed his head gently.

"I will send you tomorrow morning. You need to sleep now." Said him as an order but in fatherly.

Aeron showed him his smile and then he ran into his room and went straight to sleep in his room.

"What was that?" he was surprised to see his smile.

Geremy was playing games with his tablet. After Aeron went into his room, he looked at his father who was standing in front of him but the father was looking at the shadow of his brother.

"Daddy, I don't want to go to school. I want to stay at Nanny Irene. She can teach me." said Geremy in a serious manner.

Bradlix looked at him. He was giving a thought about that earlier actually. He was thinking to send both his sons to Mdm Irene since he would be busy looking for a clue to find his wife back. It would be fine to let the boys with Mdm Irene as the office was near to the nanny's house.
