Let's get married today

Ji Yu could not believe his ears, did he hear it right? It seems right because she is staring at him lovingly. He bend down to give her a light kiss. His member who was stimulated earlier cannot afford another strong stimulation or he needs to take another cold shower.

"Thank you for loving me, Yu. I am lucky to have met you,"she said and then she ran into the bathroom. She blushed as the thought of seeing him naked earlier in addition she just noticed an erected tent forming beneath his towel. She knew if she stayed longer he might not be able to keep his promise, knowing him he might be mad at himself for losing his self control.

Earlier when she decided to give herself to him she was nervous about his size. It is really huge, can it fit? Since she had already decided to accept him, she will truly give him her heart, body and soul. She wonders if life was simpler where she did not have to seek revenge, can she lead a happy life? She set the question aside and bathe.

Once done, she put on a vintage yellow dress, making her look youthful. She let her hair down to cover the hickey marks. She did not bother to wear turtle neck or try to cover it up with a scarf because she will stand out in this summer heat.

Ji Yu had already gone downstairs with a big smile on his face. Her words rang in his ear repeatedly. He came down to see his father looking at him sternly but at this moment, he is in cloud nine and nothing can faze him. He greeted his father and mother politely and took his seat. Old Master Shen stared at his son who was smiling silly. Just as he was about to open his mouth, he noticed a young lady in a bright yellow floral dress making her way downstairs elegantly. Ji Yu quickly got up to pull the chair beside him for her to seat. He took her hand and gave it a light kiss and helped her to seat comfortably. He fussed over her so much that a red blush can be seen on her cheek.

"I am not a five year old anymore, please do not fuss," Ru Ran said in a low voice. She then smiled politely at the man who is seated at the head of the table.

"Morning, Uncle and Aunty," she said with a smile.

"Morning dear, did you sleep well?" asked Old Madam Shen. She smiled brightly because she heard from the maids, that the two of them shared a room. Looking at her son's expression the two of them must have made further progress.

"Quite well," Ru Ran said while looking down trying her best to conceal her blushing face.

"Okay, let's eat first then we head up to the study room, okay?" Old Madam Shen said.

Ji Yu happily serve Ru Ran and in an instant her empty plate became a mountain of food. She protested but it fell on deaf ears.

"Just eat as much as you can, I would still love you if you end up as a round dumpling... Hahaha.. Don't get angry, just eat whatever you can, I'll eat your leftovers," Ji Yu said changing his tone when he saw her puffing her cheeks out.

With his reassurance, she ate as much as she could which was quite a lot. The maids who were on standby were surprised to see such a small size lady eating freely and happily. They were also surprised to hear Master Shen's laughter. They hardly ever seen him smiling nor had they ever heard him laugh but today, they saw the jovial side of him. He is such a teaser and kept teasing the pretty young miss. Such atmosphere is truly a rare sight. Even old master Shen and old madam Shen appears to be at ease. They concluded that the reason must be because of this young lady. Her presence is as bright as her dress.

After breakfast, they all went into the study room to converse more freely.

"Ah Yu, you are already 27 years old, can you please stop making your mummy worry. At this age, all she needs to do is concentrate on me. When you were young, I allowed it because you were poisoned and daddy is to be blame because I was careless. After your marriage, I don't want your mummy to follow you around any longer," said a stern Shen Ha Jun.

Ji Yu just nod in agreement, he knew if he protested or tried to put it on his mother, his father would get angry. His mother has been placating his father the reason his father did not unleash his full irritation.

Shen Ha Jun then look gratefully at the lady sitting quietly beside his son. She has a bright shiny eyes exuding intelligence she possesses, a calm demeanor indicating someone who is analytical. He trusts his wife's judgement of character.

He then beamed his widest smile, in fact it looks scary because he rarely smile.

"Now, now darling, you don't have to smile, your son might not appreciate it if your daughter in law decided to bolt out of this house in an instant, I would not appreciate you either," she said in a domineering tone.

He quickly retracted his smile, Ru Ran find it so funny and she could not but let out a laugh.

" Sorry, uncle I did not mean to laugh but you and aunty are such an amazing couple, your smile is indeed a bit scary but don't worry I have already decided to give my all to Ji Yu, I won't be intimidated easily," she said explaining herself.

He nodded in approval of this daughter in law. Ji Yu who was at the side was grinning from ear to ear hearing his woman's word. He became even more proud when he saw the marks he left this morning on her neck when she turned to look at him. His mother who followed her son's line of sight was delighted to see the marks as well, it meant soon she will be a grandmother. She smiled happily besides her husband.

"What are your plans for the Du?" asked Shen Ha Jun.

"To be honest, I am feeling very conflicted uncle, a part of me wants to forget about what they did and at the same time continue to investigate the events that happened 20 years ago. I thought I will discussed with Ji Yu first as well as I do not want to lead him into any danger trying to seek revenge and digging up the past," she said earnestly.

"Mummy thinks you should just announce your comeback and see what happens, then act accordingly. The matters 20 years ago, really must be investigated to get justice for your parents. Regarding the dangers, you don't have to worry, it is Ji Yu's job to protect himself and you. Let him deal with the rest. What about the Du Group?" said Mummy Shen.

"As of now, I am enjoying the profits because I am the biggest share holder, so whoever that is pulling the string behind the scene, is actually doing me a favor. I am not eager to take over the company, in addition, years ago, I have already decided to abandon it. Enjoying the profit without lifting a finger is not a bad thing," said Ru Ran.

The three in room nodded in agreement with her analysis.

"Then it is settled, tomorrow mummy will announce your identity and your engagement, is it okay?" said mummy Shen.

"Mm, I think I have another idea. I would like to just reappear as myself and just see what happens. It will appear like I am little lamb up for slaughter." said Ru Ran.

The three were horrified and Ji Yu was the first to object.

"It's okay, I know you will ensure my safety. Please?" she pleaded.

Staring at her pleading eyes, Ji Yu did not have the heart to say no.

"I have a condition, we register our marriage today and if anyone tries to harm you, we will reveal your identity as Madam Shen, my wife," he said after giving things a serious deliberation.

"Okay, Mr Shen. Let's get married today, " said Ru Ran.
