Du Ru Ran became an orphan at the age of 5 years old after a deliberate car accident. She was then taken in by her uncle. Life was truly tragic but being a smart girl, she managed to turn the tides around. She plans to avenge the death of her parents and her little brother who she did not get to meet in this lifetime. At that time, thank her lucky or unlucky star, she met a pair of mother and son, who gave her some warmth in her moment of total darkness.

She thought a dumb cupid made a mistake by accidentally release an arrow and the arrow went straight to a 7 year old boy and now, 20 years later, he is delusional.

"Why can't you leave me alone? I really have no time, no room for another person. I am pretty occupied with getting my revenge. Go and fly away," she said while making the hand gestures of shooing a pesky fly away.

"You really don't need to work hard on my behalf, I am touched that you worry about my well being and feeling. As long as I get to see you, that is all I require. You really don't have to do anything."

Ru Ran felt her head is going to explode, shameless, when did I, how on earth did he manage to lift himself so high that even direct language don't get to his thick skull? Fine, if you don't want to leave, I will walk away.

True to her thoughts she walked away huffing and puffing, fuming at the fly she can't get off.

"Wifey wait up!!!"

"Seriously, what do you see in me?" she asked impatiently. 

Instead of answering her immediately, he spun he around to face him, pushed her to lean against a nearby wall, locked her body with his legs and arm in order to stop her from escaping. His facial expression turn serious, gone the silly demeanor he had put up earlier. 

Her heartbeat increased and her palms started to sweat. She stuttered, "What.. What.. Just what do you plan to do?" 

"I am going to answer your question. Look me in the eyes. I see a beautiful lady, a stubborn one, cold exterior but inside she is kind and afraid to get hurt. She gave me a kiss 20 years ago and gave me the strength to live and from that day onwards, I have given my heart to her."

My reflection in your eyes

Ken was getting a splitting headache, listening to his sister sarcastic remarks. He could not take it, so he asked his subordinates to find him more girls to entertain him. The earlier two girls bodies were brought out, were properly cleansed to ensure none of his bodily fluid remained on them, subsequently, their bodies were abandon in a ditch somewhere at the outskirt of the town.


Darren and Uncle Tek were ready to make a move after having thoroughly grasp the security details. With proper coordination, and the help of a hacker, they manage to stealthily enter the building. The knocked any guards they encountered with, gagged them up and hid them in any available nook and cranny. They then replaced the guards with their own men. It is a good thing that Ken's men attire were ninja attire with half of the face covered, hence easier for infiltration. 


They could hear disgusting moans from the main room, and suspected Ken was busy in that room. The reached the place Mei Xin was held but they failed to predict that Ken had placed extra crazy measures to ensure Ji Yu's team failure to extricate Mei Xin out of his grasp. 


They managed to overpower the four guards that was guarding Mei Xin. However, Darren miscalculated the last guard to fallen determination to alert Ken of their presence. He crashed himself into a nearby table causing the ruckus. Darren cursed, he felt things were going too smoothly and sure enough, this had to happen.


"Ha ha ha, didn't expect you people to arrive so soon. As expected of Ji Yu's men. Seems like you have overpowered most of my men," Ken's voice rang out before he appeared in a half revealing bath robe.


"We have come to take Xin Xin back. Cut the bull and crap. Since you already know the details," said Uncle Tek gruffly. 


Mei Xin instantly light up but it died down very fast because she knew her evil brother's plan. 


"Get out! You guys need to leave, I, I can't leave," cried Mei Xin 


Darren and Uncle Tek both were shocked by her words. Does this mean she wants to stay by Ken's side. 


"Hahaha. I knew you would choose me, little sister," said Ken sinisterly. 


"Xin Xin, tell me, the truth, why can't you leave?" asked Uncle Tek calmly. 


Mei Xin heard the sorrow in his voice and she was glad she had found him but regretted that their time together was too short, they even haven't ehem. She blushed at her shameless thoughts. She shouldn't be thinking that sort of thing at this time. 


"I am wired. If I move, everyone dies. Since I refused to cooperate, he has set up this trap for you guys, he was just waiting for you to arrive. Sob sob. Whether everyone makes it alive or dead, is all up to me," exclaimed Mei Xin. 


At that moment, Uncle Tek heart felt it was about to break. He calmed himself down and spoke," Darren, take everyone else and go. Let me handle this."


Mei Xin's eyes brightened and sparkled. This man, he is willing to die with her if he failed. He knew she would live a walking zombie life if he left her with Ken. 


"Hahaha. Foolish! Since the two of you wants to be foolish, I will fulfill your dreams. You will walk out alive if you manage to save her," said Ken as he closed his revealing robe and walked away.
