Du Ru Ran became an orphan at the age of 5 years old after a deliberate car accident. She was then taken in by her uncle. Life was truly tragic but being a smart girl, she managed to turn the tides around. She plans to avenge the death of her parents and her little brother who she did not get to meet in this lifetime. At that time, thank her lucky or unlucky star, she met a pair of mother and son, who gave her some warmth in her moment of total darkness. 

Years later, when they meet again, he stuck to her like a fly she could not get rid off. He kept insisting she took advantage of him when they were young and insisted that she take full responsibility for him.

20 years ago:
"Little girl, you really need to take responsibility on this young master when we are older. I am never going to let you go." He whispered into her ears. Due to his illness, he somehow grew up a little mature than peers his age. Hence, it wasn't a normal for him to be thinking about his future at such young age. In fact, since he was three years old, he had been groomed to be a fine young man in order to prepare him as he is the next heir of his prestigious family. He fell asleep with a smile on his face.

At the present:
She thought a dumb cupid made a mistake by accidentally release an arrow and the arrow went straight to a 7 year old boy and now, 20 years later, he is delusional.

"Why can't you leave me alone? I really have no time, no room for another person. I am pretty occupied with getting my revenge. Go and fly away," she said while making the hand gestures of shooing a pesky fly away.

"You really don't need to work hard on my behalf, I am touched that you worry about my well being and feeling. As long as I get to see you, that is all I require. You really don't have to do anything."

Ru Ran felt her head is going to explode, shameless, when did I, how on earth did he manage to lift himself so high that even direct language don't get to his thick skull? Fine, if you don't want to leave, I will walk away.

True to her thoughts she walked away huffing and puffing, fuming at the fly she can't get off.

"Wifey wait up!!!"

"Seriously, what do you see in me?" she asked impatiently. 

Instead of answering her immediately, he spun he around to face him, pushed her to lean against a nearby wall, locked her body with his legs and arm in order to stop her from escaping. His facial expression turn serious, gone the silly demeanor he had put up earlier. 

Her heartbeat increased and her palms started to sweat. She stuttered, "What.. What.. Just what do you plan to do?" 

"I am going to answer your question. Look me in the eyes. I see a beautiful lady, a stubborn one, cold exterior but inside she is kind and afraid to get hurt. She gave me a kiss 20 years ago and gave me the strength to live and from that day onwards, I have given my heart to her."

My reflection in your eyes

Ai Sha had been busy running around sending in her application and getting approval to be part of the UNICEF youth advocate program. She walked out of the UNICEF headquarters with a smile on her face, she had been approved and will be leaving in a week time. Thinking about leaving, a wave of reluctance came over her. She then steeled her heart and act as if that wave of sadness did not exist. She walked into a bookshop, to buy a travel book regarding Africa and as she was browsing, she came across some cook book. As if she was pulled by a magnet, she picked up a cook book titled simple dinner recipes for dummies, even idiots can cook. She flipped the pages and found that the ingredients and method weren't complex. She took the book along with her travel books to make payment.


She then headed towards a nearby supermarket to buy some ingredients as she planned to cook for tonight, simple dishes as an appreciation to Ken's hospitality. If it goes well, then maybe she should extend her gratitude to those who are protecting her in the dark. As she was shopping for ingredients, she had the urge to pee, she headed to the nearest washroom. After her business as she was about to leave, she realised she was locked in and unable to escape. She started to panic but soon calm down because if it was someone's plan to hurt her, they should have hurt her earlier not lock her in. Maybe the lock is faulty, she comforted herself, she did have some difficulty to lock the door earlier. What she did not know was a woman of her built, dressed exactly like her had left the toilet earlier and had continue to shop in her guise. The guards that were following Ai Sha did not realised the switch.


Meanwhile, after an hour, after calling out for help, Ai Sha was finally released but to her horror, the woman who freed her pointed a knife at her and told her to change out of her clothes and was told to put on a red wig. The lady then grabbed Ai Sha's left arm and held Ai Sha's left forearm in her right hand, with her left hand, she held a small dagger at Ai Sha's waist. This action was concealed by their close proximity. Ai Sha had no choice but to follow suit. Ai Sha was puzzled as to why Ken's men was not concern in her delay to return from the loo. She could only make a few wild guesses and pray that they realised something is amiss. 


Meanwhile, the impostor was trying her best to lose her Ai Sha's security details, and was taken by surprised when a group of thug came rushing towards her, with the intention of causing harm to her. She panicked and started to shriek for help, the men that was assigned to protect her were doing their best to defend her but they were outnumbered. One of the thug managed to grab her and was at the point of destroying her face. The sharp dagger had already pierced the skin on her right cheek. A drop of blood can be seen hanging at the edge of the blade. 


"Let me go! I am not her! I am an impostor, the real Ai Sha had been kidnapped in the toilet at S parade earlier. I am part of another team to cause harm to her. Please, I beg you.. Let me go! I can prove to you, I am not her!!!" 


Ken's men who were exchanging fists with the other party were dumbfounded. Damn, they got played. It seems there are two teams at work, to get Ai Sha. Her statement caused everyone who were in the midst of exchanging fist to stop fighting. What the hell! Such a twist of event. They allowed the girl to prove her claim. 


Ken's men were mentally communicating among themselves as in to who should break the bad news to their boss. None of them are looking forward to it. They know despite their boss's cold exterior, Miss Ai Sha had the ability melt the ice away.


Abducted
