Du Ru Ran became an orphan at the age of 5 years old after a deliberate car accident. She was then taken in by her uncle. Life was truly tragic but being a smart girl, she managed to turn the tides around. She plans to avenge the death of her parents and her little brother who she did not get to meet in this lifetime. At that time, thank her lucky or unlucky star, she met a pair of mother and son, who gave her some warmth in her moment of total darkness. 

Years later, when they meet again, he stuck to her like a fly she could not get rid off. He kept insisting she took advantage of him when they were young and insisted that she take full responsibility for him.

20 years ago:
"Little girl, you really need to take responsibility on this young master when we are older. I am never going to let you go." He whispered into her ears. Due to his illness, he somehow grew up a little mature than peers his age. Hence, it wasn't a normal for him to be thinking about his future at such young age. In fact, since he was three years old, he had been groomed to be a fine young man in order to prepare him as he is the next heir of his prestigious family. He fell asleep with a smile on his face.

At the present:
She thought a dumb cupid made a mistake by accidentally release an arrow and the arrow went straight to a 7 year old boy and now, 20 years later, he is delusional.

"Why can't you leave me alone? I really have no time, no room for another person. I am pretty occupied with getting my revenge. Go and fly away," she said while making the hand gestures of shooing a pesky fly away.

"You really don't need to work hard on my behalf, I am touched that you worry about my well being and feeling. As long as I get to see you, that is all I require. You really don't have to do anything."

Ru Ran felt her head is going to explode, shameless, when did I, how on earth did he manage to lift himself so high that even direct language don't get to his thick skull? Fine, if you don't want to leave, I will walk away.

True to her thoughts she walked away huffing and puffing, fuming at the fly she can't get off.

"Wifey wait up!!!"

"Seriously, what do you see in me?" she asked impatiently. 

Instead of answering her immediately, he spun he around to face him, pushed her to lean against a nearby wall, locked her body with his legs and arm in order to stop her from escaping. His facial expression turn serious, gone the silly demeanor he had put up earlier. 

Her heartbeat increased and her palms started to sweat. She stuttered, "What.. What.. Just what do you plan to do?" 

"I am going to answer your question. Look me in the eyes. I see a beautiful lady, a stubborn one, cold exterior but inside she is kind and afraid to get hurt. She gave me a kiss 20 years ago and gave me the strength to live and from that day onwards, I have given my heart to her."

A story about love and revenge. (I hope so)

My reflection in your eyes

Ken, Ji Yu, Ru Ran and their team were concentrating at the images on multiple screen in a mobile van. Ji Yu's arrival made it easy to catch up on the lost thirty minutes. 


Ken was impressed with the crows, they are better and faster than the drones. His initial plans were to use drones to locate Ai Sha, Ji Yu convinced him otherwise, the crows were given the image to lock on, and in just few minutes, images of the lady who took Ai Sha away appeared in the screen in real time leaving a cake shop. His heart accelerated by the adrenaline rush. 


Ken was surprised by Ru Ran's sharp sight, often it was her who pointed out new clues. Her deduction skills were a notch higher than his and Ji Yu. They have now narrowed down their search to two possibilities. 


"I think the box looks suspicious! My first bet that she is in there!" said Ru Ran.


"But from this image, it looks like Ai Sha and the other lady had left the place," said Ken


"Think about it, why stop at a cake shop for 20 minutes and they didn't seem to have bought anything and now they don't even bother to avoid the camera," answered Ji Yu. 


"Plus those men went in together with them but now they are leaving separately, the box of cake seems to be big enough for a person to be hidden in. You program had recognised the men to be the same as the ones that entered the cake shop with them," said Ru Ran. 


"The postures and the behaviour are just not consistent with how Ai Sha was walking earlier. Yu, the crows, can they zoom in on the face? If we can get a clearer view, Ken's facial recognition program can help us confirm if it's truly Ai Sha or not," continued Ru Ran.


He made a call to Darren with instructions on the crows. 


Now more images are coming into their view, some crows flew near the two ladies and started to peck their hair and hand, in panic the two separated and in desperation trying to shoo the crows away, a the hat, wig and sunglasses came off making it easy to capture a picture of the face. 


"Definitely not her. Focus on the men!" instructed Ji Yu. 


Ken was ready to leave the moment they confirmed the other lady was not Ai Sha but was stopped by Ji Yu.


"Why??! I need to go!" Ken slapped Ji Yu's arm away. 


"If you go now, then you might not know who ordered for her abduction," answered Ru Ran. 


Ken understood, and look apologetic at Ji Yu. 


"Don't mind, if I was in the one kidnapped, he would not be that clear mind as well. I hope you understand what I mean," Ru Ran said with a smile. 


Ken's mind cleared and understood her meaning. Ru Ran is implying that he has fallen for Ai Sha and there is no way he has no feelings for Ai Sha for him to lose his cool. Only a person who has no attachment to the other person can see clearly. 


Ken nodded his head as if confirming her words and his heart.
