The truth

"What happen?" Lee looked at them with a confused expression.

Angel ran over to Lee and sat beside him, she were about to take his hands but then she saw herself trembling, she was afraid.

Lee looked at her hands and saw how she was reacting. He then took on of his hand in hers and the other one, he used it to lift up her chin, so that he could see her face.

"Angel, what happen?"

"I will get some water for you" said Dr. Chang before leaving the bedroom.

"Why is the doctor here?"

"I-I..I'm sorry.." she started crying. Tears fell from down, she could get herself to stop.

"Hey, hey.. why are you crying?" he tried to console her. He hugged her tight, bringing her closer to him.

Dr. Chang came back with water for Lee. He walked over to them and gave Lee the water. He then put his hand on Angels shoulder once again, and it made her look back at him.

"Angel I think it's time"

"But.. grandpa, I don't know if I can" she had let go of Lees hug and were now hugging herself on the edge of the bed, looking at her grandpa.

"Wait grandpa? But I thought you didn't have a family?" Lee was slowling getting better and was even more confused about the situation.

"We are not blood related. I found her in the forest.. She and Min Jun are adopted by me"

"What I don't understand.. when we found you in the forest we asked you to come with us but you refused, so how come he adopted you?"

(Sigh) "Lee this is a long story and I hope you will believe in my because what I'm about to tell you is going to sound crazy"

Angel was sitting on the bed across from him in a cross-legged position, so did he. Grandpa Chang was sitting on a chair which were beside her makeup tabel, therefore he had dragged the chair over to the bed, so it will be easier for him to be a part of the conversation.

"You see, I have always been a special kid with special - you can call it powers- I have never known were I came from or how I got my powers. The only thing I know is my life in the forest with the animals. When I met you I saw my future with you, I saw how we would meet after 10 years and we ended up sharing sweet moments together. When I met you parents, I also saw that I saved your father in the hospital. After that I knew, that you and I were suppose to met again in the future, that was our destiny."

Angel were speaking with a serious tone, making sure that he wasn't about to freak out on her.

"About a year after I met you, I met grandpa Chang and with him I saw a future too. I saw that he adopted me that I lived I life with him and Min Jun as a family."

"Wait.. I feel like there is more... I'm so confused... are you saying that you can see someones future?"

"Not anymore.. when I grew older that ability were gone and I ended up only seeing peoples 'past behavior'"

"Like what?"

"When I look someone in the eyes, I can use my ability to see, how they used to behave. I can use my powers to drag out their biggest regrets, desire and if I want to know if the person is bad or good, then I can drag deeper and see what kind a bad or good thing the person had done in his or hers life"

"Is that why you always look into my eyes? To see my past? To drag information out about me?" he frowned.

"No! I have only seen your past three times, and when I used my ability on you, I never ever tried to drag anything out but instead you let me see it. You let me see your memories because you trust me.. and therefore you.. let your guard down when we are together"

"Oh really? Then what kind of memories have you seen" from the sound of his question it didn't sound like he believed her just yet.

"The day we met in the forest. You and Geon as kids playing in the sandpit, where Geon destroyed your slot made out of sand and you ended up crying and right after that you pushed him down. And the last thing I saw was today, I saw you and your family in the amusement park, where you played with a slot machine trying to get a.."

Lee looked at her, he was surprised but then he stopped her because he remember clearly that day, he even still has the ring he won for her.

"Okay stop" he said holding his hands up.

"I'm beginning to understand but then why are you a doctor? Is this why you chose to save or not to save people? Do you have other powers? Something with golden light?"

"How did you know?"

"The time you had a look at my father I saw you boosting a golden light into him.. or something like that"

"Oh.. well the golden light you are talking about is like 'life energy'. You see I can boost some life energy inside the human body, so that it can help the immune system and the cells in the body restore the human body to normal, you know like medicin."

"Wow! thats amazing! So thats the reason why you are a doctor?"

"You could say that"

They both smiled until grandpa Chang let out a sigh and looked at her with crossed arms.

"There is more. Some times these powers a to much for me to handle so I loose my self-control and becomes a different person. The person you saw with pitch-black eyes.. I were absorbing the air inside of you before I stopped myself and you fainted.. Because of me, you almost lost your life, Lee I'm sorry." She began to cry while looking down.

"What no you could never do that to me"

"You are right she could never do that to you, but.. when she lose her self-control she will be like a total different person and she will only see darkness around her"

Angel had stopped crying and were now looking at grandpa Chang. He continued, "Angel you told me that when you and Lee was being.. (ahem).. 'sweet' to each other you were fighting against your own thoughts, right?"

"Yes.."

"Angel, you trust Lee but you don't trust yourself and not only that you were despairing in your own actions, which made you lose your self-control and almost killed Lee"

"What..?" Angel was in shock. Her eyes became big and she couldn't believe what she heard.

"NO! Angel look at me.." Lee tried to get her attention but she was not responding.

"Do you even believe in her?"

"Of course I do.. I have seen it with my own eyes and one of the memories she told me about, was not something that anyone would now only my parents knows. So YES! I believe her and I also believe that she will never hurt me"

Angel stood up, she walked away from the bed and had her arms crossed.

"Lee, I want you to leave.." Her voice was cold and distanced.

He stood up and walked over to her. He put his hands on her arms an tried to get eye contact with her but her beautiful eyes which were full of life, were now replaced with cold ones.

She removed his arms, and looked at him using a strong and cold aura, "I said leave!"

"No!"

"LEAVE!" Angel used her powers to make her eyes pitch-black she looked like a totally different person. Her scream startled Lee and his eyes were big. From one look at her it seems like she was ready to fight him.

"Okay.. I will leave"

Lee walked out from her apartment and when he did Angel started crying. She fell down on her knees, crying.

"Did you lose control again?"

"No, I remember the feeling from before so I used it to make him go"
