When Loken entered the hidden room he stored the newfound Ores away, he wanted to forge weapons of it later on but now all he could think of was the egg-like rock that he discovered. He took it out of the hidden ring and placed it in the center of his room. He observed it and tried to get a feeling for it. As a blacksmith with Metal element affinity, he was able to feel the circumstances of the Iron inside an Ore. To his surprise, he was not able to feel anything it was as if there was no Metal inside at all. The only thing that gave him a resonance was the needle on top which seemed to possess the three Human elements imbued to it.
He started to wave his hands and channeled his elemental powers into the needle, he wanted to connect to the Metal so he could understand it better. As Silver mist formed in the air and began to near the needle. It suddenly surged into it and the egg started to vibrate and shake from left to right. Loken was shocked to discover that his elemental powers were sucked away from him, to his surprise he could not stop it. He channeled elemental powers into the rock through the needle. Not long after, he became deathly pale and all of his powers were gone, soon after, he lost consciousness and the egg stopped moving.
After the night he came back to his senses, Loken discovered that nothing was wrong with his body and that he was still able to feel and manipulate the Metal elements around him. He feared that he might have lost that ability. As he stood up he looked to the rock and wondered what might have happened. Other than that the Silver light on the egg shining stronger than before nothing much of a change could be seen. He decided that he would leave the egg as it was and focus on analyzing and forging with the newfound three colored Ore. As he got a feeling for it he would start to extract the Iron from Ore.
He took out a two-meter long Metal rod made of Blackiron from one of his hidden rings. Loken started to infuse his Metal element powers into the rod after that he began to swing and spin the rod until he suddenly hit the Ore with it. Ore started to vibrate and shake... all the dust and earth particles broke apart from Ore and was cleansed from impurities. This was the Silverslayerclans cleansing technique, one of the techniques he learned from the ancient scrolls. He did that with all the Ores he found this time. Soon after he took the three colored Iron and walked upstairs into his workshop. He placed Ore into the oven for the melting process.
While being melted he tried to feel the changes in the Iron through his connection to the Metal element. Loken was very surprised by the changes and the feeling he got from it. The three colored Iron turned liquid, this alone was not the change which made him feel wondrous but the color. Normally Iron that melted turned into an orange like liquid looking like magma. But this Iron just turned liquid without changing color. He could not believe what he was seeing because he knew of the appearance of this liquid Iron through his studies of the ancient books and scrolls."If my guess is correct then..." He began to move his hands and started to channel his elemental powers into the liquid. Suddenly the liquid started to move. It began to move to his will, in Loken's mind he tried to visualize a knife soon after the liquid formed into the knife he imagined and turned hard again.
"Adamantite..... the long lost Metal that made Humans stand at the top." It was so precious because only Humans were able to manipulate it. Not only Humans with Metal affinity even Humans with Light or Darkness affinity were able to form it in its liquid form. This was the reason Humans rose in power, they were able to produce weapons, armor, even buildings out of it."Could the ruins be that city???" He was referring to the city that brought doom to humanity...Halron. Halron was not only the name of the city, but the lineage of the king was also named Halron.
"This is truly too precious for the Beastman. It would be a waste to give it to them. Seems like I have to spend some of my savings." Adamantite was not only very useful to Humans it was also very durable and had a strong defense and attack properties. It would not only store elemental power to be unleashed in attacks it would also enhance these attacks and make them stronger. The thing most noteworthy was that only Humans could use it. After he ordered his thoughts and hid his excitement he walked to the marked to buy Blackiron in order so forge the 20 Blackiron swords for his weekly task.
As Loken arrived at the market he went straight for the stand that sold forging materials. The Beastman that was selling at that stand looked at him and said" Loken... long time no see. The last time we met you did not even look at my goods.... could it be you need to buy from me?" He had an excited look on his face which looked like that of a fox. "Yes, I have come to buy Blackiron from you," Loken answered. The fox put a grin on his face and asked: "I have heard you went into the mine for two days... could it be you came out empty-handed??"
"Since you know I was there I am sure you also heard I made a discovery... a new type of Metal... but it seems it is useless, I can not use it to forge weapons or armor, " Loken said as he looked into the fox beasts eyes with a shame-filled expression.
"It can not be forged?? Seems like you are a really useless blacksmith... and now that you are out of options you decide to at last by my goods" The foxes grin became wider and wider as he added, "Double the normal price for you."
Loken knew that the old fox was targeting him because he had offended him for not buying at his stand and leaving with a smile on his face. That alone was enough to enrage the fox and earn his resentment. Not only that, the fox knew that Loken did not have enough time to go back into the mine to excavate Blackiron for his weekly task. Loken bit his tongue and answered." So double it is then." He took out a bag of Silver and handed it to the fox. He knew that he could do nothing about it. Maybe the day would come when he got his revenge on the fox. He bought enough to last him for two weeks.
He placed the Blackiron into his rings and bowed to the fox... acting according to his role, before leaving for his workshop. As the fox saw Loken leave and lowering himself he exclaimed "Spineless coward... better leave with your tail between your legs" Loken did not turn around he just thought "I will get you for this."
