Humans were the only race that used Metal to forge weapons from it. The other races were simply too powerful, they would not have to rely on weapons to become stronger. So only Humans experimented with forging methods, that's what leads to there only being three elements infused to the Blackiron. There was simply no use trying to infuse other elements in the past because only Humans would use them.
Loken became excited by the thought that maybe through this discovery he would be able to infuse more elemental powers into that rock. The next thing he did was trying out how many elements the Blackirons liquid form could hold at the same time. This would require a lot of his concentration it was not easy to manipulate more than one marble at the same time. He started by infusing four elements into the Blackiron. Metal, Darkness, Light, and Fire... it worked out quite smoothly but he noticed the three Human elements were assaulting the Fire element.so. Soon he noticed that the more elements he added the more the Blackiron became unstable. It started to vibrate and the lights infused to it seem to collide with each other. As he tried to feel the changes to the Metal he began to understand that the Infusen of more than nine elements might be impossible.
Loken was very talented, he understood changes to Metal as he focused on it, with his Metal element affinity he could feel what the Metal wants to tell him. He knew should he add more elements to the Blackiron it would start to burst open, maybe explode and create havoc. He felt that the combination of too many different elements created a new sort of power... Chaos. He pondered on what to do next, Loken was very knowledgeable in the field of forging and elemental infusion but he lacked practice and experience.
The next thing he did was to only add the seven Dragon elements. He then discovered that they harmonized and coexisted inside the Metal. The color it took was black... this was a new type of Metal that was the opposite of Adamantite. "Let's call it.... hmm... Obsidian" Now he wanted to combine all the elements into Blackiron.
He took a very small amount of Blackiron and melted it. This time he wanted to see what happens when he infused ten elements. He began to form signs with his hands and gathered a huge amount of the Metal element. After gathering as much energy as he could he unleashed a very powerful aura that surrounded the whole room in his Workshop. Soon after layers upon layers of silver mist coated the walls and then Loken himself. This was a sealing formation used to protect everything that is coated with it.
The next thing he did was forming a barrier around the oven and forging table so if something went wrong the effects would not be as strong. After making sure everything is sealed and protected by the silver aura, he began the fusion process. After every element added he felt the changes in the Metal. After every element added the power would go more and more berserk, unleashing a multicolored radiance that made one feel very uneasy. Nine elements were infused now for the last one... the last element touched the Blackiron as it turned dark... it became dark as black and emitted a gloomy and crimson red light. The feeling Loken got from the crimson light was... that if he might touch it... he would turn to nothingness. "What strong power. It feels like nothing can stand in its way, " he exclaimed.
Suddenly the Metal began to vibrate and get more and more unstable. It began to expand and consume all that came into contact with it. The melting oven and his forging table were gone in no time. Then it started to rumble and make incomparable noises, suddenly it stopped and the crimson light surrounding it began to shine more and more intensely. It was blinding to the eye, Loken had to close his eyes as fear build up in his mind. BOOOOOOOMMM!!! The entire workshop shook heavily but nothing more could be seen from outside. His workshop was in the outskirts of the town so that his forging would not disturb the residents of the town. so luckily no one noticed it.
Inside the workshop, Loken was standing with his back against the wall and his arms crossed in front of him holding a huge shield in his hands that covered his whole body behind it. The front of his shield was pierced by parts of the barrier he formed around the Metal before. As Loken put the shield down and saw the other side of it he was completely shocked. His shield was one of the treasures left behind by his clan, in his books he found records of it mentioning it being used against a very powerful earth Dragon with a peak Expert Level of strength. Earth Dragons are known to have very strong physical attacks, this Dragon was not even able to leave a scar on this shield and yet it was pierced after the explosion of the ten elements were infused.
"This is simply no mere Adamantite or Obsidian anymore how should I call that berserk Metal that brings chaos and destruction?" He was lost in his thoughts as he came up with the idea to name it... Asurantium. Later on, he decided to clean his workshop and repair the things that were destroyed, as for his forging table and oven he had some spare ones in his hidden room. After finishing everything he took some rest and pondered if he should continue to experiment on producing Asurantium. It was simply too powerful, in the hands of evil, or beings that strive for power and might this could lead to war and destruction.
He sat down in his hidden room and examined the rock that already had all the elements imbued to it and wondered why it would not burst like the Asurantium. Loken feared that should he be able to infuse all the elements into it, then it would bring forth an explosion that could as well destroy the whole town. As he watched the lights inside, he noticed that different from the Asurantium the lights were not contradicting each other but coexisting in harmony. They would not clash with each other but intertwine and combine and separate one another.
Loken pondered if he should take the risk and try to infuse more elements to the rock. Soon he realized that he was worrying for nothing. "What could I possibly lose?? Maybe this will give us hope and a chance to free ourselves." He was referring to Humankind and the depressive situation they were in. He stood up and took some materials and the rock back upstairs into his workshop. After setting up another protective barrier he began the melting process of Blackiron. Then he placed seven jars in front of him and infused them into the Blackiron. These seven elemental marbles were the seven elemental powers representing the Dragon elements. He was aiming to produce more Obsidian. After infusing the elements into the liquid Blackiron it changed color and became black. The liquid then started to float to the rock. He imagined in his mind what he wanted the liquid to do... he wanted to coat the needle without melting the Obsidian and Adamantite together.
Slowly but surely it worked out as he wished it to, the needle on top of the rock was coated by the Obsidian without melting together. The process took a lot of time and a lot of concentration. Would the two Metals combine they would form Asurantium and blow everything to dust. After letting it cool down he put everything into place... then he rested again. He needed to be in top condition for he does not know what might happen.
