Demi-Human

Megan was Loken's mother and she had a different standing in that town compared to other Humans. She was born from a Beastman and a Human... her mother was a Human slave... but her father was the current chief of the mining town they live in. He is a Beastman that evolved from a very fearless animal lineage that is known to be very ferocious and dangerous beasts... the Honey Badger also known as Ratel... Ratels are known to have strong and tough skin... they are also immune to poison... their claws are very sharp and can unleash powerful attacks. His name is Dreadclaw

Dreadclaw is a powerful existence that is feared by everyone... he is about 130 years old... for Beastman this is just the beginning of their prime... he is a variant... that grew wings on his back and horns on his head. The life span of Beastman is about 300 to 400 years... depending on the level of cultivation one is to achieve, that life span could double or even triple. This also applies to Humans... except Human lives are shorter they reach up to 100 years when they lead a good and healthy life... but nowadays they are suppressed... which reduced the life span to 60 maybe 80 years.

Megan's appearance was that of a normal Human but she could change to her Beast form... she looked more like a mix of a honey badger and a Human. Her hair turning white and skin growing fur made her look very ferocious but still beautiful. She was a Demi-Human... Demi-Humans had the ability to change their appearances. And switch between Human and Beast. Their life spans are equally long as that of the Beastman... so though being older than Loken she looked much younger compared to him. It was only known by high officials in the Beastman ranks that she was the daughter of Dreadclaw... it was only known that no one should treat her badly and that people who went against her in the past vanished without a trace.

Loken had no Beastman features he is a normal Human being with no trace left of a Beast. His grandfather the Lord of the town had no ties to Loken because there was no Beastblood in his body. Dreadclaw dispised Humans... he only saw them as tools to become more powerful or to get rid of his boredom... there are also times he releases his lust on Human females like Megan's mother for example. He had a total of 19 sons and 12 daughters... his grandchildren were uncountable, nearing 100. Those of his children who had paired with other Demi-Humans or Beastman bore kids with Beastblood... Dreadclaw raised those children and grandchildren to fill in positions in the town to make sure everything runs as he sees it befitting. That's how Megan became the overseer of the armory and is responsible for cashing out the Human workers.

It is unknown how Dreadclaw was able to grow wings and horns... but some believe that one of his ancestors mated with a Dragon so his already powerful bloodline became more powerful and unlocked some hidden potential. His cultivation is as high as the Dragonlord Raijins... a tier ten Lord with the Earth element. With his powers and his tough skin and sharp claws... with his ability to fly just like a true Dragon he would be strong enough to stand against Dragonlord Raijin. Dreadclaw clearly put no one into his eyes except Raijin and was fearless... he would not challenge Raijin though, because they were good friends. Raijin was the only other being on par with him he thought and accepted him as his equal... after some interactions with each other and having the same thoughts regarding Humans they became friends. That was also a reason for Dreadclaw to stand at the top of the Beastman tribe and is now in charge of this mining town.

"What?? He was born from an egg that you found in the mine?? This is huge... do you know what that town that lay in ruin above the mine used to be??" Megan was in shock when she heard Loken's explanation about how he found Ragnar. He left the part where he found out about Adamantite, Obsidian, and Asurantium. " No I do not know what it was... tell me" Megan inspected Ragnar ones more and then looked to Loken with a serious face " That town used to be Halron, and if my guess is correct than this is the legitimate heir of the Dragonclan, the egg you found must be the one Halron stole from Bahamut the Dragonking."

Loken was taken aback... he did not know what to say... then Megan added: "But why is he Human... he should be a Dragon?" Loken then explained that there was an object radiating the three Human elements that were stuck to the egg and imbued Human elements into it. "That could be an explanation... maybe due to being exposed to Human elements for all these years, triggered an evolution. Dragons are very adaptive creatures... maybe he survived all these years because he used the Human elements surrounding him as a life source." That was the only explanation she could come up with that could explain Ragnars Human appearance.

"What are your plans for this child Loken??" Megan was very curious about what Loken had in mind. "I want him to become a symbol of peace and righteousness... a person that sees all and everyone as equals... since you mentioned he may be the legitimate son of Dragonking Bahamut I began to understand what I have witnessed when he awakened. No one can stand in his path if he grows with his kin... but since he has now a Human side as well he may come to understand what is wrong and what is right growing up suppressed by Beastman." Megan began to understand what Loken wants to do and had a guess why this child was named Ragnar. He does not simply want to switch the situation to Humans being superior but he wants to establish peace... like his ancestor did... but with no race standing at the top, but all being regarded as equals.
