Sherrif Hound explained everything to Deathclaw, form the beginning, that the blacksmith named Loken went into the mine and was followed by the Fox and Mole Beastman... that Loken did not return out of the mine... that he came here to punish the blacksmith... that the mine's entrance suddenly collapsed and he tried to investigate what happened inside... that suddenly everything began to melt, he explained till the point where they were ordered to run.
Dreadclaw raized an eyelid when he heard the Name of the blacksmith... that was the name of one of his grandson's that had no beast blood flowing in them... who he deemed as trash. But then suddenly he remembered the father of that grandson of his. Loken's father was also a blacksmith and was caught helping other Humans with there monthly tasks several times. The name of Loken's father was Rogaan. Rogaan was helping the other Humans every time and everywhere he could. Even after punishing and torturing him he would not back off from others who needed help. He was seen as a Hero in the eyes of the Human citizens. Dreadclaw saw that sooner or later the Humans would start a rebellion. So he sends some Assassins that should take care of Rogaan and dispose of him so it would look like an accident.
Dreadclaw then remembered that from the three Assassins he send the only one returned and that one was badly hurt. The one who survived was a tier-three Expert who saw this Mission as a good Chance to let his disciples gain some experience. But to everyone's surprise, the Mission ended with the death of the two disciples and the Expert Assassin being badly hurt... nonetheless he was able to poison Rogaan and escaped. He knew that no one would be able to survive from that poison so he reported that he killed Rogaan. Dreadclaw recalled that his daughter Megan was loving Rogaan very deeply and hated him for what he did to him. Although it was a secret assassination everyone could guess that this was a plan to keep the Humans under Control. Rogaan's body or at least something that appeared to be Rogaan was found the next morning in the blacksmith workshop. The poison was very aggressive and would dissolve its prey.
"Hmm seems like this family of blacksmiths is not as simple as I thought... Hound search for this Loken you spoke of... if my guess is correct than he might be responsible for this." Dreadclaw ordered. "Chief are you sure? That coward is only a tier 4 Novice how could he possibly destroy this whole area??" The Sherrif asked. Dreadclaw turned to Sherrif Hound, looking very angered, "Did I ask you for your opinion?? Do what I ordered you to do??" The Sherrif turned around and left... he gathered some Rangers and ordered them so scout the area for anything suspicious and look out for every Human they find here. He then left and headed to Loken's workshop. As he arrived there everything seems normal... Loken was nowhere to be seen... he did not think too much about it since he thought that Loken must have died in the mine... how could that lowly Human survive something that heavily wounded their Chief. So he went back to the mining area and waited for the Rangers to finish scouting.
Meanwhile, several kilometers away Loken was walking through a thick forest and headed east. He bound Loken to his back so he was easier to carry. He tried to avoid the streets so no one could report him in case someone wants to find him. The way to the eastern border takes two days in a carriage on the streets... but he was now walking and was not using the direct was so he had to at least walk four to five days... he could not run either because he had to carry Ragnar. So he proceeded very slowly but unnoticed. Every time he came across some rabbits or deers he would catch them to have some barbeque and roast them on fire. He was very surprised to discover that Ragnar had his teeth already grown and liked to eat Little bits of the roasted meat he prepared... "It seems that only your appearance is Human... I have never heard of a Baby being able to eat meat after just a week." he did worry in the beginning but soon realized that the appetite of Ragnar was not truly enormous he ate as much as Loken. After finishing eating Loken would always roast some of the meat so he could store it away to have some emergency provisions.
Four days passed by in no time and Loken could see the outlines of the Border in the distance. Meanwhile in the mining town... one of the Rangers that was ordered to Scout the mining area appeared bevor Sherrif Hound and said: "Sherrif we found a hidden entrance to the mine... there was a Metal plate on the ground that had the appearance of a simple rock but it is a simple Metal plate... as we opened it we found a tunnel leading deep down into the mine but after one or two hundred meters the tunnel is collapsed and we can not go in any deeper... there are footprints of a Human inside that tunnel but we could not find anything more." They then lead the Sherrif to the tunnel and showed him what they found. The Sherrif opened the tunnel and took a deep sniff with his nose. Since the Sherrif is a Dog based Beastman his smelling senses are very sharp. He was very shocked a minute later because he discovered a scent he knew... it belonged to Loken, "That Shrimp did this... how could that be??" The Sherrif walked to the Headquarters of the Knightorder and went directly to Dreadclaws Office. "My Lord you were right... we found a tunnel leading into the mine... the tunnel seems to have collapsed after the explosion but I could discern the scent of that blacksmith you wanted us to find... I searched him everywhere in town and among the rubble but we could not find any clues of his whereabouts."
Dreadclaw was sitting in a specially designed chair that would enable him to sit though he had a tail and wings. He looked at Sherrif Hound and said: "He must have left the town, maybe he went to a neighboring town to hide from us or even went for the border... send orders to the eastern border to increase the patrols and hand out a drawing of that blacksmith... we need to find him." "Yes, Mylord" The Sherrif answered and turned around to leave but suddenly Dreadclaw's face turned wicked and he added, "I want him alive... I need to know how he did that and also need him to return all the Blackiron to us" The Sherrif turned around again with a confused look on his face, "Mylord, what happened to the Blackiron"
Dreadclaw's face turned very ugly as he said: "That bastard took every least bit of Blackiron from that mine... I do not know how he did it since his element is Metal but he extracted all the Blackiron of that mine... if he joins the Stormclouddomain and Hands them all the Blackiron we might not stand at the top anymore in the near future." Sherrif Hound felt disbelieve he simply could not believe how that was possible... how could that pitiful coward that feared everyone do that. "Now that I think about it I will personally head fore the border give orders and prepare a carriage for me... my wings are still not healed I can fly there." Dreadclaw said as suddenly one of the guards walked in and shouted, "Mylord this is terrible"
