"Alexa?"


" Or Lina? What should I call you?" 


Yang suddenly asked grabbing her wrist.


Lina remain frozen on the spot. Her hands were trembling. Her heart sank. She was scared to death.



Yang walked in front of her and made her look look straight into his eyes.


"Wha... what are you talking about??" 


Lina fumbled and looked down couldn't keeping up with his cold stare.


He chuckled.


Without breaking the eye-contact he held up her chin. His thumb was caressing her cheeks.


Suddenly he removed her glasses ignoring her struggle to break free her hand from his.


Without the glasses her ocean blue eyes were throwing daggers to him.


"It seems that you forgot something today Miss Ray."



" What.. what are you talking about? And It's Miss Park or Lina Park, for your kind information Mr. Lu. Not me, but You seem to be forgetful nowadays." 


She slapped away his hands.


 "Now give me back my glasses. Would you please Mr. Lu? I still have cases to take care of."





How far can you go for love? How far can you go for friendship? How far can you go to keep the deepest pain in your heart only to yourself?

That was never the cup of tea for Lina. But she fell hard for someone. Someone who never look back. Someone who didn't keep his promise to her. Someone whom she couldn't forget no matter how hard she tried.

Lina met Yang. The only person who can made waves in her broken heart without even trying. Just seeing him from afar could stirr up something in her which she couldn't figure out.

Somewhere , Someday

Lina was having problem with adjusting the specs which was repeatedly coming down due to sweat drops.


Her hair was giving off hints of soft curls after losing its wetness. Loose locks were coming in front of her eyes.


Prof. Shin bid goodbye to the students. Every one was now packing up their things and leaving the class. 


She closed her books and notes and started packing.


Suddenly a hand brushed off her hair behind the ear.


"Ah! Thanks." She replied while hurriedly putting down her things.


 Few seconds later realisation hit her hard.


Lina looked towards the owner of the hand with a frown. 


She slightly trembled upon seeing the owner of the hand. Her heart literally skipped a beat upon realising the serene scene before her.


The owner of the hand was now half-asleep on the table, his hands were right beside his chicks, and he was looking at her affectionately making her bewildered.


"Jesus! What was that? " She asked him finally composing herself.


The man in question was now still daydreaming not averting the gaze a bit.


There was no response from the other side. In spite of giving any response he smiled.


'Did Lu Yang just smiled at me?' Lina fell in deep thought. 


He was still thinking it was just a scene from his usual dream where she would adjust her specs, brush her short locks behind the ear and would look at him and say "What?"


His lips curved up in a smile. 'How sweet is my sunshine'.


 She waved her hand. " Knock ! Knock ! Earth to space!! Hey! Are you here yet?"


He was still lingering in his own world without giving a heed towards her call.


She wondered what was going on with that guy.


Lu Yang effortlessly was one of the well-known hunks of the class. From juniors to seniors all the girls used to have crush on him.


 Even at one time it was heard that some female faculty from the pediatrics department knocked out on first glimpse of him.


In the dissection hall, girls used to focus on his face rather than giving attention to the cadaver. The female laboratory assistants would mix up ingredients and caused explosion many times in the biochemistry Lab. 


During leisure library hall used to fill up with girls clicking photos of him reading books whenever he came there. The librarian used to have difficult time pursuing the girls to keep quiet in the hall. 


Naturally, she would be considered an alien if she had not recognised him. 


After all he was the great "Lu Yang" aka Henry Lu.


'The legend of Z Medical College', the owner of every single gold medal given to the toppers of every subject and the prestigious vice captain of undefeated college basketball team.


 It was practically rare for a medical student to shine in every single subject each academic year, but not for him.


 He literally owned the scoreboard. He was the university topper for the last 2 years. Thus, he became the pride of the college. All the faculty members wished to take him under their wings.


Lina used to wonder whether he was superhuman. She tried to beat him in scoreboards but somehow he always best her then too sometimes by means of 1 mark. 


She remembered Once describing his smooth dissection procedure to her sister Lina wished if she could check his brain cells, 'how can a man be this perfect!'.


Lu Yang was the distant star every single student wished to fetch but dared not to touch.
