"Alexa?"


" Or Lina? What should I call you?" 


Yang suddenly asked grabbing her wrist.


Lina remain frozen on the spot. Her hands were trembling. Her heart sank. She was scared to death.



Yang walked in front of her and made her look look straight into his eyes.


"Wha... what are you talking about??" 


Lina fumbled and looked down couldn't keeping up with his cold stare.


He chuckled.


Without breaking the eye-contact he held up her chin. His thumb was caressing her cheeks.


Suddenly he removed her glasses ignoring her struggle to break free her hand from his.


Without the glasses her ocean blue eyes were throwing daggers to him.


"It seems that you forgot something today Miss Ray."



" What.. what are you talking about? And It's Miss Park or Lina Park, for your kind information Mr. Lu. Not me, but You seem to be forgetful nowadays." 


She slapped away his hands.


 "Now give me back my glasses. Would you please Mr. Lu? I still have cases to take care of."

Lina handed over the copy to the Professor.


" Sir, The patient Mr. Han Zhou Mo, 61 years old male used to work as a waiter. He is a resident of HMS province.  He came here with complaints of frequent Pain in the lower part of body for almost 4 years now which have worsened recently. There is presence of swelling in both legs most commonly in the calf region which worsens while trying to bend. On examination, it is found that there is ulcer around the skin of the affected region and also change is color of skin.... 


Prof. Shin frowned over sudden silence.


"Sir, I'm afraid of the accurate diagnosis, but he most likely has developed Deep vein thrombosis. "


" Are you sure ...? " Prof. Shin chuckled.


He had been watching her for quite some times now. He was well aware of her potential but was slightly touched this time. But he did not show any sign of surprise on his face. 


" I may not be accurate sir but 95% possibilities are there. " 


 Prof. Shin gestured her to sit down and started questioning the patient and then prescribed some drugs for deep vein thrombosis.


" Show this in the reception. You will get a discount. Start using them immediately otherwise You'll have to admit here later for heart failure."


Meanwhile, Lina was being anxious thinking about her punishment.


"Sir, you asked me to meet you regarding the incident in the morning session. I'm sorry sir. I'm assuring you of never repeating this situation again. "


She blurted out her thoughts as soon as the patient left the room.


Prof. Shin looked at her for some time and laughed out loud.


No one had ever seen Prof. Shin laughing. She pinched herself to check whether she was dreaming or not.


Seeing her reaction Prof. Shin again laughed hard. 


'This girl.' He was having a good time because of her after a long time.


" We'll, You need to be punished for your deed. There is no escape." 


'What kind of punishment is waiting for me!!'


"You don't have classes any more right?"


"Yes sir. Today we only had your class in the schedule." 


 "Then you have to assist me today in the OPD." Prof Shin announced.


'Assisting Prof. Shin in the OPD!!! Like seriously! OH MY GOD!! It was every students' dream to assist him one day because it would be a huge exposure for their career as well as their experiences would enrich. They used to fight for Prof. Shin's attention. And here I'm, a 3rd year student, received this great opportunity in guise of a punishment.


Prof. Shin was silently observing her actions. He smiled.


 "Don't you like this arrangement? Then I've to look for something else."


"NOOO!" She voiced out immediately. "I like its sir. I mean It'll be my pleasure to assist you Sir. It's a dream come true. Thank you for giving me the opportunity Sir. I'll work hard." 


"Then should we start Miss Park ? Are you ready? "


He asked her "There is a long line today. We should call the next patient."


"Yes sir. As you wish." Lina gladly agreed.
