As soon he saw his pitiful stats in the pannel, Ye Chen frowned as this was really too weak and every single of his Show function was either empty or pitfully low, as system's last statement, Ye Chen just rolled his eyes side ways and ignored it.
Other then his treasure section which contained gift from the system. Looking at his stats Ye Chen sighed, as the person who crossed this is too low and poor, he thought, 'How am I supposed to get strong...',
"Ding, Host can be strong by leveling up and to do that you need to accumulate the amount of Experience required to level up or Host could use Devouring points to increase his cultivation."
Ye Chen at this moment some what understood how the system works and thought,' I have 20 out of 100 Experience Points, so if I need to level up I need more Experience Points, and if I get more Devouring points then also I will level up' , Ye Chen frowned as he did not understood why are two ways to level up, so he asked system again, "What is difference between Devouring points and Experience Points ? ,
"Ding, Devouring points are the points which will be received by Host, when host devours something and to retrieve the object which has been devoured for Host's personal use, Devouring points can be used then, also to upgrade the skills or techniques which has been mastered by host. On the other hand Experience points can only be used to further increase Host's cultivation.
Hearing the response of System Ye Chen understood the working of both Devouring points and Experience Points.
Suddenly Ye Chen looked at the bottle of pill which has been previously gifted by System as Novice Gift, this was Qi Refining Pill which can help any cultivator at Qi Refining Realm to breakthrough through one level of his or her cultivation.
"System can this pill be devoured..." asked Ye Chen uncertainty as this was a gift from System itself, if not then his future path will become little more difficult then he imagined it to be.
However contrast what he thought System gave him rather pleasant response,

Ye Chen was elated by hearing this and said in his heart, "Devour it",
The pill which he previously took out from bottle was now covered in thick Black Aura and pill from his palm disappeared, at the same time he heard System say,

With this sound from System, Ye Chen felt a warm energy slowly rising up from his Diatian and slowly spread all over his body, All of a sudden Ye Chen felt as if his strength has increased tremendously.
He waved his hands and could feel this strength is different from normal humans He felt that even he met some MMA fighter from his previous life, he could probabily defeat them with one punch.(System : Just Boasting....😒😒).

"Ding, Body Tempering Pill × 1, Ironwood Sword × 2.....Received", notified the System.
Like previously with a flash of White light, A Red bottle with a pill inside it appeared, along side with two swords.
Ye Chen quickly checked their discription,
Body Tempering Pill : A low-grade Earth ranked pill used to strengthen Body of Cultivator below Foundation Establishment Realm.
Ironwood Sword : A low-grade Mortal ranked wepon. With no additional properties.
After reading discription of both the items he received he was happy and excited for the first reward, but as for Ironwood Sword, he was not that impressed as he already had a higher ranked weapon in the form of Rising Sun Sword.
It has to be noted that Weapons in this world can be classified into different Ranks from, Mortal, Earth and Sky, there maybe higher form of Weapon in this World, but Ye Chen had only memories of these three ranks only, And this same criteria was applied to Pill Refinement as well, from Mortal to Earth to Sky ranked pills and they are further subclassified
So for Ironwood Sword he was not that impressed, he picked one of two sword and directly said, "Devour it".

He left one Ironwood Sword for his future use, after all using Rising Sun Sword is dangerous as it is a Earth ranked weapon and can attract unwanted attention and malice. And Ye Chen can not afford to have such thing right now, since he is too weak.
After he completed Devouring the Ironwood Sword, he once checked his stats,
