There you are! I was just about to call you' Chris said putting his phone down on the table as he saw Hazel enter the house.

'I ran late at Ava's house. I will be ready in 20, we will leave for dinner after that' Hazel answered walking towards the stairs, avoiding him. It was evident that she didn't want to look at Chris.

'Hazel…' Chris was stopped as his phone rang.

He answered the phone after picking it up from the table.

'Yes Steve?' he said as he watched her rush upstairs.
