Lee Yuri's POV
"Ah.. I'm getting nervous.. >.<" I said to myself as I wait for my turn to do my 28th job interview. Yep. You read that right, 28.
Well, I am not that smart you see. I also tend to be super clumsy. I also didn't graduate from a prestigious university so it is quite understandable why no one would hire me.
Finding a job wouldn't be as hard if only dad's business didn't went to bankruptcy. I would have just directly work there but things never go as we wanted it to be.
Currently, dad is working as a sales agent and mom is retailing beauty products. Our family's income is not enough to pay debts and hospital bills for my younger brother who is currently suffering from cancer.
And they have this daughter who has graduated for a long timee ago and still jobless. In short, useless. I've done many part-time jobs but those are only for a short while. The salary isn't also high enough. So my goal today is to get employed at a stable job that could give me a higher pay. I stayed up all night researching for them so hopefully, my efforts get compensated.
"Ms. Lee Yuri?"
The man in suit called my name and so I immediately snapped out from my deep thoughts and stood up. "Y-yes sir..!"
"It's your turn" he said. I walked in the room and saw 3 pannelist. 2 old man and 1 old woman. I first went beside the chair placed in the middle before bowing down to greet them.
"Good afternoon" I cheerfully said as I bowed down forty-five degree to show respect. I waited for them to greet back but they didn't so I went back to my original stance. They just scanned me from head to toe before breaking out a creepy smile which made me quite uncomfortable and nervous.
"You may sit down" said the man on the left and so I did as I was told so. Chest out, stomach in, pretty smile, and now I await for the 'please introduce yourself' signal.
"No need for further introductions. We'll just ask you one question" the woman in the middle said. I got a bit shocked as to why they chose to question me immediately but anyway, I just thought of it as luck since I won't have to say much.
"Ok ma'am" I replied as I started to prepare myself for the question.
"Do you know how to dance?" As soon as I heard what she said, I almost choked myself.
"P-pardon? 0-0" I stutterdly ask in disbelief.
"Basically, in this job, you will be dancing" the man on the left answered.
"D-dancing? But.. isn't this to enteritain customers, customer service and.. such?"
"It is. You will entertain them"
"With your dancing of course"
'0_0 What the— am I actually applying for a pub?!' I thought as my eyes widened upon realizing this whole thing.
"Oh and, you don't have to worry about the salary. With that body..." The man on the right paused and scanned my body before continuing. "You'll earn about a hundred bucks per customer. That doesn't even include the tip yet ;)"
With no more second thoughts, I immediately stood up and bowed down to them. "S-sorry, but I think my body is not worth that price..!"
I immediately went to them and took away the papers I had pass before finally going out of the room and out of the building. I let out an annoyed sigh as once again, I failed to get a decent job.
'What the hell was that just now?! Ugh..! I should've really checked that flyer carefully' I regrettfully thought. I only read the possible summary part because I got lazy to read the rest.
Now I couldn't help but hug my body as I keep on remembering what they said. 'A hundred bucks? That's too cheap for this precious cocacola figure..! Ah.. this makes my head hurts seriously.. >.<' I just held the back of my neck and tried to calm myself down.
It has been the 3rd interview I had for today and I am super exhausted since I skipped lunch just to attend here early. but it went for nothing. When will luck be on my side T_T?
"One last interview for today.." I mumbled as I looked at my watch. I swear, If I wouldn't still get accepted, I might be forced to work as a stripper.
@Tech+ Company Building
After having a 30 minute bus ride, I arrived at my destination. I looked up at the building and could feel its unussual ambience. Somehow, it made me nervous and hesitant.
Tech+ is said to be everyone's dream company. They have a pool, bar, and even arcade. All of those, the employees can access. But what's more peeking my interest is the fact that the foods in the canteen are free. I couldn't help but swallow in the thought of it.
However, with all of these benefits, comes also its detriments. It is rumored to have very strict policies and that out of 20 applicants, it is possible that no one gets accepted. A former employee of the company also once confessed that for every 3 months, there would be one or two who gets kicked out if they don't meet its set objectives.
After remembering these informations, I felt my confidence drop in the inner core of the earth. I regretted why I didn't study that hard during highschool and college. But despite being a quite scary company, a lot of people still pursues to get in here as it gives a really high sallary. And I am up for it.
I patted my back as I took a deep breath to calm myself down. "It's fine it's fine. Let's just do our best and give it a shot. Fighting!"
I started to walk in the entrance door and I was greeted by the building's luxurious interior. As soon as I stepped in, my mouth widened in amusement.

"Daebak(amazing)" was all I could say. After taking a look at the lobby, I quickly snapped out and went to the front desk.
"E-excuse me, where will the job interview be held?" I stutteredly asked. Well, how can't I? Even the front desk clerk is as good looking as the building!
"This way ma'am. Then turn left and the first room you'll see will be it" she said as she pointed the way.
"Ok, thank you!" I said as I immediately walked to the direction she pointed.
Yoo Hanjae's POV
"Mr. Yoo, the job interview is going go start in a while" secretary Kim said.
"Proceed without me. I have to finish this one" I replied as I keep on working on the papers. " Oh and, I'll just be monitoring everything through the desktop so leave the audio open in the room"
"Understood sir" she then bowed down before leaving. I went to the desktop to set everything up and turned on the volume for me to hear the interview later.
I don't ussually attend or observe job interviews. I just suddenly felt like I wanted to; that I have to. I don't know why but maybe because I wasn't able to experience going in for one?
After quite some time, I could see the interview starting with the first 3 interviewees. I stopped working on the papers to concentrate on watching the interview.
They first introduced their selves before the questioning starts. Their answers were all cliché. You could even obviously see how nervous they are. Everyone did it poorly.
"How boring.." I turned to my papers and just continued working.
"Ok, next batch" the interviewer said as another set came in to the room.
"Ok we'll start the introduction"
"From left to right please"
"Annyeonghaseyo, Yoo Jaesuk ibnida"
"Annyeonghaseyo, Kim Sohyun ibnida"
I couldn't concentrate on reading the papers because of the audio. And so I decided to turn off the volume completely however as I was about to do so..
"A-annyeonghaseyo, Lee Yuri ibnida"
I stopped upon hearing a very familliar name.
'Lee.. Yuri?' My heart skipped a bit and it seemed to be expecting to be someone I know. Well It could be or could be not her. It is highly possible to be able to hear the same names in Korea.
I faced back to the computer and looked closely on the monitor. I changed the angle of the camera and focused it on to the girl on the right only find out..
..that I was actually 'right'.
