I expect more from you!

"I expect more from you! You're a scholarship student, and I'm wondering if I should revoke your scholarship now!" The headmaster snapped as he threw the dirty magazine at Little Han Ye.

"Argh!"

The magazine hit Little Han Ye's forehead before it fell onto the floor. He could have dodged, but he was too afraid of the man.

Hearing that his scholarship might be revoked, Little Han Ye panicked. He immediately stood up and said, "No, please don't!"

Even though the scholarship was not a lot of money, but it paid for his tuition fees and covered all his meals from breakfast to tea. Losing it would mean an extra burden on his poor mother. He knew that it took her a lot of effort before she decided to leave his step-father.

He did not want her to go back to him just because of financial constraint, nor did he want to see her being beaten black and blue again just because of his tuition fees.

The thought of them living in fear again caused Little Han Ye to shiver. His eyes were teary as he begged, "Please, Headmaster! I'm sorry! I'm really sorry! I won't do it again, please don't take my scholarship away!"

"Han Ye, I don't know. This is a big misdemeanor. I would have to record this offense. As for your future," the headmaster turned away from him and said coldly, "that would be left in the hands of the scholarship committee."

Little Han Ye could not help it and he started to cry as he sat back down. He grabbed onto his knees tightly as tears started to fall on his knees.

The scholarship committee was really strict. If they found out about this, it was almost guaranteed that he would lose the scholarship.

"If you really care about your scholarship, you should have been more careful. But no! You brought that filth in and even tried to influence Ms. Wushuang and Ms. Yuexue."

"But I didn't..." Little Han Ye murmured softly as he dug his fingernails into his knee. At that moment, he was extremely angry at Little Fan Wushuang. He thought of betraying her, but based on everything, he knew that no one would believe him even if he were to speak up now.

The headmaster sighed and waved his hand nonchalantly. "It's too late for you to cry now… Go back to-"

PAP!

Suddenly, the door was pushed open and in walked an imposing man. His black hair was swept back and he was wearing a black suit that appeared to be made just for him. Holding his hand was Little Fan Wushuang.

The moment the headmaster saw him, he immediately softened his voice and said, "President Fan, good evening. Please, sit."

President Fan glanced at Little Han Ye, who was wiping his tears away, and asked, "You're Han Ye?"

Ashamed of his own state, Han Ye did not meet the man eye to eye. Instead, he looked away as he nodded nervously. "Yes, sir…"

President Fan sat down on the same couch as Little Han Ye before he looked at the headmaster. "My daughter is hungry, and I'm sure this boy here is hungry as well. Get them some snacks…"

The headmaster nodded, and he immediately ordered his assistant to get the kids something to snack on. After his assistant left the room, the headmaster smiled and asked, "President Fan, may I know the reason for your arrival today?"

President Fan ignored him. He smiled at Little Fan Wushuang, who was looking at the candy bowl on the headmaster's table while she picked out her favorite, and said, "Wushuang, come…"

When she heard her father, Little Fan Wushuang quickly took two candies before she went to him. As she sat between her father and Little Han Ye, she opened up one of the candies and handed it to Little Han Ye.

She smiled at him as she looked at him, but he did not smile back at her. Little Fan Wushuang felt bad and embarrassed, but she did not retract her hand back.

Little Han Ye did not know what to do. On one hand, the headmaster was glaring at him. On the other hand, Little Fan Wushuang's father was a scary man.

So, even though he wanted to ignore her, in the end, he accepted it with a gruff "Thank you".

President Fan tapped the side of the couch with his fingers as he said calmly, "My daughter called and told me something interesting. She said that you have been unfair to her."

"Unfair? I'm never unfair!" the headmaster defended himself. He was confused. Of all his students, the one he was fairest to would be Little Fan Wushuang.

"Then why didn't you punish her? In fact, why wasn't she punished more often?" President Fan asked with a raised eyebrow. He stopped tapping the couch as he waited for the headmaster's reply.

"What?" The headmaster was even more confused than earlier.

"I know what my little princess is like and I know how often she gets herself into trouble. Yet, she was barely punished for most of it. Then today's incidence…" President Fan glared at the headmaster and asked, "She was caught skipping class but why wasn't I or my wife informed about it? Why do I have to hear it from her instead?"

The headmaster's forehead started to sweat as he explained, "President Fan, you and Madam President Fan are such busy people that we don't feel that it is right to bother the two of you. Besides, this is not something that we would call parents for."

"Then what about that?" President Fan Lei asked calmly as his eyes fell on the magazine on the floor. He picked it up and as he waved it around, he asked with his voice slightly raised, "Is that not something that you should call the student's parents for?"

He then threw the magazine to the headmaster.

The headmaster caught the magazine clumsily before he replied nervously, "Well, yes… and we have already informed Han Ye's mother. He would be punished accordingly for corrupting Ms. Wushuang."

"Corrupting my little princess?" President Fan laughed as he wrapped his arm around Little Fan Wushuang's shoulders. "I would consider it thankful if my daughter doesn't go around corrupting others."

Little Fan Wushuang stuck her tongue out at her father. She was probably the only person in the world that could get away with it.

"President Fan…" The headmaster gulped.
