For childhood friends Han Ye and Xiao Xiao Lei, both of them experienced the painful experience of having their loved ones taken from them in the most unexpected manner. 

And due to the betrayal of a trusted family member, Xiao Xiao Lei had to go hide in the underbelly of the world... with the promise that she would one day return to take back everything that was hers.   

A long, long time later, they were finally reunited again. This time, she was a mother who had to continue hiding in order to protect her son, while he was a powerful man who answered only to one man.

This time, would they be able to walk out of their own pain and embrace each other?

The President's Man

When Sunday rolled around, Xiao Lei and Xiao Zhihao woke up early to go to the hospital for the egg retrieval process. Luo Guangying's driver was already waiting for them when they went down to the apartment lobby.

The moment they arrived at Hospital Imperial, they bumped into Luo Guangying and Callum in the lift. Both of them had just arrived at the hospital as well.

Since there were only the four of them, Luo Guangying asked in a kind voice when he saw her nervous expression, "Worried?"

"Just a little... I heard that it might take a few tries," Xiao Lei said with a nervous smile. "I don't think I can keep going through all those injections... The first attempt was pretty hard to go through."

She had broken a lot of furniture, which Luo Guangying found out when the maid he sent to refill her fridge reported back to him. He had promptly replaced all the broken pieces of furniture.
