For childhood friends Han Ye and Xiao Xiao Lei, both of them experienced the painful experience of having their loved ones taken from them in the most unexpected manner. 

And due to the betrayal of a trusted family member, Xiao Xiao Lei had to go hide in the underbelly of the world... with the promise that she would one day return to take back everything that was hers.   

A long, long time later, they were finally reunited again. This time, she was a mother who had to continue hiding in order to protect her son, while he was a powerful man who answered only to one man.

This time, would they be able to walk out of their own pain and embrace each other?

The President's Man

As Han Ye was having a small talk with CEO Zhang, he suddenly glanced at his watch and frowned. He felt that Xiao Lei was taking quite long since she mentioned that she was only going to freshen up a little.

Worried that she might be in trouble, he looked at CEO Zhang and said in an apologetic tone, "Excuse me, CEO Zhang, I'll talk to you in a while."

The jovial chubby man nodded. He waved his hand nonchalantly and said, "It's good to meet you again, Mr. Han. I might not be here for long as I have to attend a meeting at another venue later. Do say hi to President Du for me, and please congratulate him on the birth of his son."

Du Corporation hired a songwriter from CEO Zhang's company before, for the advertisement of a product three years ago, and DX was satisfied with the professionalism displayed by the songwriter then.

Han Ye smiled and nodded. "I will."
