"Wa-- up"
"Just a little more sleep please...."
"Wake u-"
"Hey wake up!"
"WAKE UP KAI! IT'S MORNING YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!"
Damn it's morning again why can't I just sleep forever, as my mother
yells at me again begging for me to wake up.
"Mom Please Just 5 minutes moreeee"
I said begging for her to atleast leave me alone for awhile. Well I'm not really the type to sleep all day but today's a bit different.. It's the first day of school again and I have to deal with people again..
"Okay Mom I'm awake, all right? just let me lie in bed for awhile!" I said to my mom
"Just be sure to get ready for school okay Kai?" My mom tells me that with that bossy look on her face.
As I fold my blankets and make my bed I can't help but think of the frustrations because I have to go to school again!
I walk to the bathroom slowly and open the faucet in the sink as a rush of cold water comes out. I wet my face and think back to the days when I actually loved going to school, until that terrible event happened..
After taking my time in the bathroom and getting my self prepped up for school i wear my thick rimmed glasses that allowed me to see clearly without it I'm practically blind.
"Why did I have to be so blinnnnnd" I whisper to myself this glasses ain't earning me popularity points anytime soon.
As I was about to leave my room, I almost forgot to wear the ring my father gave me. It was his final gift to me before he.. well.. now's not the time for that. It has a distinct insignia in the middle, It has a purple rose and the ring itself is engraved with what appears to be vines and thorns of roses in it's shiny purple body.
I go down the flight of stairs and is surprised by the mix of aromas in the air. My mom prepared a large breakfast for me compromised of bacon, eggs, toast, hotdogs and milk well uhhh.. This is huge for me since she always just used to make me eggs and bread but well it's just a huge surprise for me.
"Kai, come here and eat. I prepared this for your first day of class" My mom tells me with a big warm smile on her face.
This makes me appreciate my mother even more, As I look at her small stature, pale skin and white hair but surprisingly alluring hazel eyes, plump lips and wavy brown hair that goes to her elbows. I know that she has been through a lot since father's...tragedy. I want to be there for her and support her from all this mess.
After eating, I bid my goodbyes
"I'm going mom, thanks for the meal!" With a slight smile on my face just to reassure her
and go out through that door unsure of what awaits me today as I face the morning sun.
