The office

As the sun rose, rays of light hit Erza's face making her wake up. Erza got changed into her old clothes and decided to open the balcony door for some fresh air. The fresh, crispy and light breeze caressed her skin as if it was her mother. The put her hands on the railing keeping her from falling off the balcony, only to see the others awake and playing around in the yard. Mikasa was of course training with Eveline whilst Luka and Tigra were having a friendly conversation.

Erza left her room to see a maid waiting for her outside. She bowed and nervously said, "Your highness, breakfast is ready for you in the dining room, everyone else already ate and are now in the garden."

Erza already knew they were in the garden and wasn't really hungry from last night. "Thank you, if you don't mind I would like to walk to the dining room alone," Erza replied. The maid looked at Erza wondering why but didn't dare to ask any questions, "As you say, your highness," she then bowed once again and slowly walked away.

"Wait!" Erza called out. The maid turned around frightened thinking she was in trouble, she trying to think of anything she has done that could have offended her highness.

"Please tell Lord Tigra to meet me in his workroom after I have had my breakfast, thank you," Erza walked off leaving the maid with her note.

The maid sighed in relief knowing that she wasn't in trouble. She immediately went to the garden to tell her master of what her highness had said.

The corridor Erza was walking though was long and had many large windows. There were paintings hanging on the wall with only a ten centimetres distance from each other. Some of the paintings, were of the old owners of the Vermons mansion and some where of the beautiful landscaped of Elkia. Erza stopped at two large double doors, the two guards who were standing by the door realised her presence and slowly opened the large doors and bowed. Erza smiled at them walked towards the large table where they last had dinner the day before. The hall was quite large, in fact, it was large enough to have a ball. As Erza sat down at the head of the table and began eating, she felt lonely. She was used to it back in the palace but after that incident, she felt even more lonely.

She stood up holding her plate of delicious food along with her glass of water, and walked out the hall towards the kitchen where all the other servants were eating. She entered the kitchen, catching the attention of all the workers there, and smiled. Immediately, they all bowed and curtsied towards the princess,

"Your highness, why have come here with your breakfast?" One of the male servants kindly asked. Erza looked at him with a smile making him blush, and replied "I felt quite lonely eating alone, if you don't mind, could I eat with you?" The servants were shocked to know that a person with a much higher status them them would like to eat with them, they felt incredibly honoured. Everyone smiled and felt joyful, this was a one in a life time opportunity to be able to eat with royalty. They were for sure, thinking of boasting about it to their friends and family on their days off. Erza sat down at a nice looking table began to eat and talk to the others sitting on the table every now and then.

'Usually, nobles would only let their servant eat bread and water or left overs, but Tigra provided them with expensive food to eat, he may act cold and acts like he hates everyone, but he also had a soft heart,' Erza thought.

After finishing her breakfast she thanked the servants for the nice conversation and left for Tigra's office. Erza remembered every inch of this place as she use to come here very often to play with Tigra, the door was already open so she just entered and there was no one in there, she closed the door behind her leaving it slightly ajar. The office use to belong to Tigra's father, but since he has past away, Tigra took his seat as an official, however, he would need a new emblem with his name carved on it that could only be given by the royal family or his family would lose a seat in the court, which was basically like the government in Elkia. Erza walked towards the window behind a large white desk and stood there looking at the view. Suddenly, she heard heavy footsteps co ming towards the door, as a cultivator, her ears were sensitive to all sorts of noises. The door creaked open and Erza turned around.
