Lucca Giovanni's POV
Okay, I am officially doomed right now.
I don't think that Laura was serious but what can I say to that woman? She's my wife and the mother of my unborn child. I don't have the gut to say no to her when she was all excited about this trip.
And so here we are, in the wilderness of the Lago di Bràies. It was enchanting but at the same time was a horrible time for me to leave the office. But the beam in Laura's eyes when I told her that I will be taking my leave when her spring break happened, I cannot diminish it.
Not now when she was hormonal and shit.
"Oh, this is so much fun, caro. I cannot believe you are willing to be with me here," she said as I was smiling at her. I was carrying the backpack, the heavier ones anyway, as I was making my way to her side.
Laura was looking out into the sea that the lagoon was famous for. And I think I loved it to see the smile on her face right now.
