The Mighty Supreme God, a Parasite

The greedy Cobra unhinged its jaws to an alarming gaping hole and sucked in. The fire clinging onto the fake phoenix was sucked away. Eh, it was supposed to be a phoenix? Surprisingly once the fire was stripped away, the figure of a 3 headed dog was revealed instead of the evil looking phoenix. Not that Apophis would care, it didn't know of such an insignificant being.

The fake phoenix-er three headed mutt: I'm a hero you know, wolf!

The three headed mutt: Wait again? And my nickname got changed again, arff?!?!

The author: Opps, you forgot your memory, not that it matters, it's just commentary!

Danger! Danger! Danger!

The Thoth system started to blare in the 3 headed dogs mind, but to no avail.

"Hmmmm~, finally a decent meal...", While the black flames of Amaterasu may burn even the flesh of gods like Loki, Apophis was extremely attuned to such evil energy and simply absorbed it. It felt a bit of strength returning.

Amaterasu: You called?

"That bastard, Set... just you wait, ill again my body and authority no matter the cost!", the Apophis pledged.

Somewhere in between the time Set took over its body a very small part of its body split from the original and Apophis seeked to find a way to regain his original body and more power, it just so happens that a portal was conveniently open for it to escape. If Set, Horus, or Ra ever found out, it would definitely be killed or captured on the spot!

None of them wanted the serpent to rein free. Horus was now the current god of the sun and would not risk such a big threat that bothered Ra of eons. Set, he other hand would probably squeeze it for every once it had for energy and power... not to even mention Ra, both choices were equally bad!

Apophis had rashly taken an opportunity and sneaked into the portal that Ra opened, but didn't know why they opened a portal to Duat. As an eon long entity, it had its share of wandering Duat searching souls to devour, but it seems they aren't Duat at all. Apophis sensed a special fluctuation and the unstable portal landed them in some random part of hell.

"Why would Ra open a portal for such a creature?", Apophis wondered.

While it was in an unfamiliar place it wasn't a bad thing. It would eventually have to travel to another dimension to hide. The Egyptian realm can't just go and say they lost their biggest enemy and were in no position to barge into foreign territories to search for it. It might start a war!

"Not the best meal, but you'll suffice.", Apophis proceeded to open its jaws to swallow the body as well.

"Oh! A reed from the fields of Duat!", on top of the mutt's middle head was a reed that emitted underworld energy.

"What a treasure, this is pretty high grade too!", if it ate it too, it would gain some of its power back and be able to use its aura to mask its presence!

It's mouth was able to swallow even the sun! A small mutt like this was not a problem for it to be eaten along with the reed in one gulp.

"Ahhhhhhhh~", Apophis unhinged jaws inched closer and closer, when Dam! It hit an invisible wall! It felt the invisible barrier and started to gag. Like someone shoving a hotdog into your throat suddenly, it felt that it was disgusting and reeked of a certain someone...

"What!!!!", Apophis was weakened and couldn't break the barrier that in its original heyday was nothing but air. It also didn't even regard the reed as much of an item if it weren't for its circumstances.

The laminating Apophis: How weak I have become, hiss!!!

"Hehe....", a voice laughed out of nowhere. A certain someone witnessed the moment the world serpent would gag and be unable to devour something. The doom bringing serpent that dared to even swallow planets and moons!

"Hehe...", the voice chuckled again as he saw the stupid snake try to swallow the 3 headed mutt.

Apophis: Truly infuriating!!!

Ra: Whatcha gonna do about it? Fight me if you can!

Apophis: Ah~ Ahh~ Ahh!

"Hisssss, this voice!" Apophis would recognize it anywhere! While it was embarrassed it didn't let that show and wanted to exert dominance. Only that the voice that saw Apophis couldn't help but think it could only be his worst enemy.

"Ra, hisssssss!!!!", it slanted its eyes and angrily screamed at the unconscious mutt. Was it delusional or was it something else...?

To respond to Apophis a blazing and golden light was emitted and a phantom of Ra manifested, but only for a moment... Ra found the surprisingly worm-like serpent that caused countless misery to him was threshing him so pathetically. Compared to his normal size it really should be called a worm. The only thing was that the phantom was a little low quality... like a flickering projection that had a bad connection and he was in no position to make fun of Apophis. On the other hand Ra still wasn't dead!!!

Ra: Hehe, of course I wouldn't die.

How did he achieve such a thing? It was his magic! He managed to graft a part of him onto the little phoenix-er mutt for a chance at survival! It was the same method he used to change Bastet and give himself over to Horus! He already did a little tinkering when he cured it of its madness and took the last step by gambling on it as he told Isis he blessed it with some protection to her little baby...

Ra: Who cares, I just want to live!!!

The entire Egyptian realm giving over the death of their form supreme god: All our tears were wasted!

Of course Ra didn't plan before on possessing the little creature or anything. He didn't even really think that his magic would allow him to continue to live on like this! It was a gamble and it worked! He really had thought after sacrificing everything he would disappear.

*Heave*

*Hurl*

*Puke*

All kinds of throwing up sound effects were inserted.

The serpent was so angry that it imadealty tried to swallow Ra the moment he appeared. Only he couldn't, but it would not give up... it cried tears, but tried to deepthroat an object it just couldn't handle again and again. Watching the serpent try over and over again, the phantom of Ra couldn't be more disgusted and felt like throwing up as well...

Ra, "Ewwwwwwww..."

Apophis,"I KILL YOU IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!!! *GAG*"

"Give up already."

"Doesn't your jaw hurt?"

"Come on, just leave, we can always fight again!"

"NEVER!!!", Apophis relentlessly said. It can be counted that while they were in their peak they never spoke many words but in this exact time in this exact space, they spoke like children in a petty fight...

Ra would heckle him every now and then trying to rile up Apophis. Ra was like a noble talking down to a beggar, but it was too damn stubborn! While it was Ra trying to mess with Apophis, seeing the same snake giving no reaction whatsoever in turn actually made Ra more nervous instead!

The 3 headed mutt's body was encased with a sphere like barrier. Apophis, true to its devouring nature was trying to stuff it into its mouth like how a regular snake swallows an egg, only this egg caused Apophis to only throw up, then for it to try again, only to throw up again...

To think these age old enemies would have their last battle, their fate to be decided like this to be so..... degraded! If Apophis managed to finally breach his barriers and swallow the mutt ,he who branded his spiritual census to it would die as well!

Ra was helpless; he was in a state of a soul on the verge of fading, and did all he could to erect a barrier. He had succeeded in gambling and didn't want to die like this. Who knew this crafty snake would be sneaking into the portal, following them. In a closer comparison He was a parasite

While Ra was laminating Apophis had an inkling that Ra was currently in a special state and even similarly in weakened state as well for some reason.... It was right on the nail and Apophis's efforts to swallow Ra and the mutt doubled.

He had been using the little mutes reserve of faith points to power his barrier. Originally the faith points expend from the little mutt battle with Loki was great and its sudden outburst of power and (at the time) thought of it awakening its bloodline. Each event took a chunk of its faith points, and it was also rapidly running out as Ra expended it to maintain his conscious and barrier.

CRAKE! Sounds of shattering glass resonated as the barrier of light was crushed by Apophis's corroding breath and poisonous fangs.

Was this the end!?!?! Ra really felt unwilling, after finding such a chance to latch onto life...

Apophis' jaw expanded and went in, to swallow his prey!

The mutt: Activate my plot armor!!!!

Ra: Activate plot armor, my life depends on it too!!!

The author: Even the Almighty god of the egytain realm asked me? Oh well I have no choice then... :)

As it its instincts went into overdrive the wired devouring ability of our main character activated. Three mouths and three pairs of teeth gashed at Apophis! They each sucked in and Apophis was torn into 3 and each was sucked away into 3 jaws!

The one who wanted to eat was eaten instead!

"NOOOOO",a scream was heard within the 3 headed dogs mouth.

Even Ra was surprised and his noble demeanor that wasn't even broken as Apophis threatened to swallow him and the mutt, crumbled. He was resolved to die even with this unfortunate turn of events, and just as disappear was present, hope leaped out and snatched the fear away.

It had seen the transformation of the little phenix into the iconic three headed dog. Two different creatures with no connection whatsoever ever, not only that it also had a terrifying devouring ability. Just what creature was this little thing?

Before he could ask more questions the will of the Apophis has yet to be killed. It was still alive! Ra was firmly latching onto his host as a parasite , how could he not know the host's state better than him? The soul of Apophis was not such an easy existence to be devoured and Ra knew that better than any individual, due to their countless conflicts.

"Tsk, tsk this little rascal is trying to eat what it can't handle. But I approve!", Ra was quite happy and felt blessed that the little thing had such a hidden triumph card.

Ra's projection vanished and dove back into the mental consciousness of the mutt and fended off Apophis's attempts to take control. Ra was extremely surprised about his fortune, but still kept his cool and formulated a plan to support the little mutt.

"Hmm I must keep this stupid worm in check, but its too risky to just leave the little thing alone..."

"Hmmm? He has the Thoth system installed?", Ra had a sudden inspiration.

"It'll have to make do...", unknown actions were performed and Ra started to keep Apophis in check and was starting to feel his power slip. He was going into hibernation and he took Apophis along with him. Slowly but surely the rampaging Apophis was subdued and its frantic attempts at taking control came to a halt. This would not have been possible if Apophis wasn't weakened to such pitiful levels. Using his own conscience as a catalyst he firmly clung onto Apophis.

After living so many years he was tired of looking after such a burdensome territory he truly wanted to rest. He was tired of all his responsibilities and just wanted to take a nap and sleep for a long long time. After that he wanted to venture out into new worlds and live a slow life carefree. While Ra sealed Apophis he started to eagerly imagine his adventure with the strange creature.

Ra had noticed the alarming entry the little thing had as it ventured into their territory and had done a very thorough inspection of the creature and found no evil in it so he secretly helped Isis and Horus integrate it into their realm. He also found that the little inconspicuous bird was not such a simple thing. It had a powerful seal on it and secrets and mysteries to unfold of its past. He hoped to unravel and handle it as time went on, too bad he met his demise in the last battle and sacrificed everything, but fate had its own plans and he was tied to the little creature, and could only take one step at a time to figure things out.

"Little guy, I hope you are able to awaken me some other time...", Ra phantom faded and yawned. Together with Apophis they slumbered...
