"Number 3, how confident are you.", Flora asked seriously.
"Enough~", the mutt replied.
"Alright, may the unholy darkness protect you.", Flora didn't push the issue further. It was its choice and it was responsible for its own actions.
"A small entrance fee for the transportation will be deducted", Flora informed it.
"1000 sin points deducted", the mutt managed to incur a decent amount of sin points as it comprehending the power of sin.
"That is equivalent to one whole faith point!", but the mutt till felt greatly pained.
(1k sin points equal 1 faith point)
Bzzst~
The sin system that was absorbed by the superior system, the Thoth system , announced in its head."Teleporting to a nearby battlefield."
"The 4th circle of hell has been selected"
"Arf?", the mutt wasn't prepared yet!
A magic circle appeared under the mutt and quickly transported it to an area where demons were being organized. A smart looking demon who was in a humanoid form that wore a tuxedo questioned it.
"Rank?"
"Arf??", its three heads made a confused shake.
"Rank!", the intelligent demon asked again clearly, peeved.
"Uhhh..."
"Nevermind! I'll check myself!", the demon operated the sin system and with its higher rank authority, the sin system fed the demons the mutt's information.
"You barely have any sin points! You're just a minion class demon, you know where to go.", the intelligent demon pointed in a vague direction, waving his claws.
"Stupid dog...", the demon mutters as the mutt walks away.
The mutt: I'll have you know I was once a god!
The mutt was quickly drafted and placed in a semi orderly fashion, it was thrown within an army of gruesome figures of unholy forms. The demons were rowdy and unruly as they eagerly waited for battle. Its current form was monstrous and definitely not as gorgeous as its phoenix days, the monsters it was placed with were even more bizarre. The demons sported all sorts of tails, horns, tendrils, and other body parts. It fit in quite nicely.
The ranks of the demons determine their position. From the weakest to the strongest, the foot soldiers are obviously the minion class demons placed in the front. This was where the lowly mutt was stationed.
"Hmph I'm a god! I should be at the end!", the mutt hated how it was treated as expendable. Back in the Egyptian realm he was under the wing of 3 major gods!
Arthur: More like a spoiled child who was given a slackers job as a backup plan.
In its heyday the mutt estimated it could rival a count class demon.
Arthur: Even though it was through borrowed power?
The mutt: Connections are a part of strength too!
Arthur: Sure….
With its recent power down, it judged it must be at the knight class. Unfortunately, it didn't have any achievements, so in name it was still a nobody minion class demon. It bet the standard god class level demons must be at the marquis class.
The mutt patiently waited for orders. It thought of the riches it would earn as it easily slaughtered the weak chicken people.
"This will be easy.", the mutt thought.
The war had yet to start so the mutt wandered around the territory. It navigated around the crowd of demons and wondered how the 4th circle of hell punished its sinners.
"The 4th circle of purgatory, the circle of greed. Sinner of a certain category is placed in each circle depending on the sin they have committed"
"The sin of greed mortals commits is the overt attachment to material things. Especially selfish people who are often in this circle and are forced to push boulders aimlessly.", the Thoth system was at it again with its fun facts!
The mutt peered off into the distance and saw some faint figures of humans. As a phoenix it once had excellent eyesight. In its mutt-er cerberus form, it had excellent smell and hearing, but it wished it could regain its excellent sight.
Just as it wished for it, one of its eyes underwent a noticeable change and its eye started to appear sharp… just like a hawk....
"Eh?", The mutt was suddenly messed up by the sudden increase of vision in one of its 3 pairs of eyes. Its perception was all messed up. It closed its other eyes to not mess with its sight.
It can now surprisingly see much further! Unfortunately it's new discovery was soon met with the gruesome sights of hell. Various sinners were not doing the standard punishment of only rolling large boulders, many had chains made out of gold ironically, chained to them. They held shiny tools made of gems and precious stones and were forced to mine the endless amount of gold buried in the ground that were made into new materials for new tools and torturous devices. Naturally the gold and gems they dug up were worth nothing to the demons and in hell. They ran on the currency of sin after all.
Oh how they must have felt as they contributed to the production of new tools to make them feel pain. Some of the more serious sinners had molten gold poured down their body, the mutt winced as it looked on. You can count on them to be creative at least. It no longer wanted to see so well. Silently the eye went back to normal, the mutt started to blink in confusion.
"Where did you get Egyptian gold!??!", while in its daze a greedy demon's slimy voice sounded. Some fat fingers went out to reach for its necklace without warning.
The mutt quickie dodged it's greasy hands with disgust. Who's this annoying bastard!?!? A very fat demon in some weird pompous noble clothing with a succubus demon on each of his arms.
Its voice was like those dirtbag scammers and cheating bastards. The mutt managed to be quite low profile, but it didn't expect a nobody demon to recognize the value of its treasure that even the mighty Phenex, didn't notice.
"Quite the rare material you have… wanna sell it to me?", the fat demon narrowed its eyes. He licked his mouth and didn't even conceal its desire for its necklace. The mutt bet that the fat demons was quite well versed in valuable things, but it bet it didnt know the full properties of its spacial treasure.
"Do you even know the value of that thing? Its rare but not that rare it's at most a collectors item", the slimy con man was already trying to fool it!
"YOU don't know its TRUE value, you idiot!", this was especially crafted by top tier gods of the Egyptian realm! It granted enormous storage space, and near indestructible! It was a divine item! And most of all it was its only memento of its home! It bet this demon comprehended the sin of greed as it had great instincts to sniff out it's necklace value.
"How about 30 thousand sin points, eh? 50 thousand. I doubt you have ever seen that amount in your lifetime!", that is quite a lot compared to what the mutt currently had! Not that the mutt was ever moved.
"This idiot must be a knight class or even an arch demon if it could say those numbers so nonchalantly."
The greedy demon started to get impationt so it tried to look into what rank the mutt was at. He thought he was at a higher rank so it went to look at how poor the dog was with its higher authority so he could wow it with its riches, unfortunately the sin system was not the same system the mutt had. The Thoth system easily blocked his attempts to look at its information.
Various precious mythological minerals existed like the well known Mithril and Orichalcum, but gold held a special meaning in Egypt. It was the metal of the gods and was especially favored to be used in all sorts of works, jewelry, and even used for sarcophaguses. Gold is precious anywhere but in the Egyptian realm their gold is blessed and follows a different set of rules and is abnormally potent in channelling magic and especially durable.
The gold used to craft its spatial necklace was of course of the highest quality and had many magical enchantments.
The annoying demon started to get even more pushy, and started to even block it way with its disgusting fat body. The succubus at his sides even helped too! It sensed the sin a lust as the succubus tried to seduce it. The mutt started to feel strange in its lower body part...
"This greedy fool sure is knowledgeable… but a fool is still a fool, trying to challenge a god!", the mutt was not going to take this without a fight and all three heads started to growl.
Arthur: You're a fool too!
The mutt: Can't you let me have this!
The mutt was about to tear off their ignorant heads when a mass mental order was sent out.
"Holy! Holy! Holy!", a loud and powerful voice cheered on.
It was time for war! The armies of gods was here!
