Ex-boss!

Austin glared at the man sitting before him, feeling extremely frustrated. He then signalled him with his eyes, to go the dance floor with Sheryl.

Smith nodded slightly, getting the boy's hint.

"Heyy!!! That's my favourite song!!! I really want to dance!! Want to come along Sheryl?" Smith grinned looking at the girl.

Sheryl looked at the boy in excitement. "It's my favourite too!! Come!! Let's dance!!" Sheryl quickly held out her hand, and Smith quickly held it, moving towards the dance floor.

Linda looked at her friend, hesitantly and before she could say anything, they were already walking hand in hand towards the floor.

Austin chuckled looking at the two. "How quickly they mix up! I take ages to even strike a proper conversation!" He looked at Linda, hoping for a reply.

Linda smiled back looking at the man. "Me too! I am an introvert too! It is awkward though! Considering our profession, which only requires you to speak!"

Austin smiled finally hearing the girl's reply. Thank God!! Whew!!

"Ahh!! That's true! But I guess that's our professional life and this is personal life!" Austin smirked at the girl.

"Haha!! For you it is no different. I have seen it!!" Linda smirked back. "You dig in people's personal life, to win professionally!"

Soon the waiter arrived placing down the two drinks on the table between them.

"Ahh!!! Just the way you did today!!" Austin smirked, as soon as the waiter left.

"Yes! Learnt it from my boss, how to defeat my boss! My boss it the best, you see!" Linda chuckled, lifting her glass of Martini.

"Ahan!!! Correction there! It's ex- boss!" Austin too picked up his wine glass and they both clinked their glasses together.

"To Miss Linda Woods, for winning the case today!! Cheers!" Austin smiled at the girl.

"Cheers!!" They both sipped their drinks looking at each other.
