Chapter 6

In the clearing, teleporting from the Matou's Mansion, Sena's avatar appeared beside the frozen Berserker and stood still in stand by.

In the truck's cabin, Sena looked at the ceiling of the cabin blankly.

Earlier, when he met with Sakura and Kariya, looking at how Sakura was smiling at him, Sena couldn't help but to feel glad that he saved her.

He hoped that he could save her earlier, or even stop everything before she went through that hell. But unfortunately, his summoning happened about one year after the adoption, so it couldn't be helped and he could only save her last night.

Not to mention that all of that was thanks to the AWE, as if the AWE was not that overpowered, he wouldn't have had the courage to save her at all.

At most he would go to another world first, looked for something or someone that would be able to save her, and returned back after he got them.

But thankfully, though, that wasn't necessary as he could solve everything with AWE. Especially the All-cure Water ability it provided.

Without the All-cure Water, even though he could retrieve her from the Matou's Mansion with brute strength, all of that would be meaningless if he couldn't get rid of the worms which were implanted in her body.

God knows what kind of things Zouken could do with those worms staying inside her.

He could control her like a puppet, or in the worst case scenario, he could straight up kill her.

But thankfully, not only absolute control and mastery, AWE also could have any properties he required as well. Made it possible to cure her.

Thinking about that, he felt really glad.

As if struck by lightning, however, when he was thinking about how the AWE could provide any properties, a realization came to him.

'Hold on a sec! It could have any properties I required, so how about power enhancement properties? Something like… water that could permanently enhance someone's power? Double them maybe? Or triple? Quadruple? Or even multiply them a hundred-folds, like a Super Saiyan, but permanent?' Sena thought.

His mind went into overdrive, making wild and absurd conjecture one after another in high hopes that all of that was really possible.

Not let him down, and as if showed Sena its overpowered ness, as he thought about all of that, information, absolute masteries, and experiences of using an ability flooding his mind, then imprinted into his mind instantly and flawlessly!

Power Enhancement Water, a water that has a property to enhance and increase someone's power permanently!

Small increase, average, double, triple, quadruple, 50×, 100×, or even 1,000,000,000×! All of that was possible!

Slack-jawed, Sena was completely shocked to the core!

But at that time, he was in the middle of a conversation with Kariya and Sakura, so he forcefully schooled his expression, and put them to the back of his mind temporarily, and continued his conversation. Even though his heart was beating so fast in anticipation the whole time.

So when he finally got back, or his avatar finally got back, he immediately reviewed the new ability he got, to make sure that it was real and he was not hallucinating before.

He reviewed the information in his mind again and again until he was finally convinced that the ability was real.

'This is absurd…' Sena muttered as he stared blankly at the ceiling.

His new ability was really absurd!

He could literally make someone or himself stronger infinitely with this!

Well, there was a drawback though in the ability.

It required an absurd amount of mana or energy to use, as absurd as the capability it had.

Even to increase the power by a small amount, not sure whether it was because the enhancement was permanent or because the other reason, but the amount of mana required was ridiculously staggering!

Made it simply impossible for someone to perform the enhancement to a target who was stronger or as strong as them, if they couldn't solve the mana requirement issue.

So they couldn't perform the enhancement even for themselves, and could only perform it to someone who was at least twice weaker than them.

But the same couldn't be said about Sena! As with Insta Recovery, that energy requirement issue could be solved easily!

That drawback couldn't be said to be a drawback at all, as with how Instantaneous his mana recovery rate would make Sena could use the ability as much as he wanted!

When he got stronger, his mana reservoir would naturally increase as well, giving him more mana to access and use, and would increase again as he got stronger and stronger! While at the same time, Insta Recovery kept recovering them again and again.

Rising his hand, Sena clenched them into a fist.

He was giddy!

His heart was filled with excitement!!!

With this, he could become as strong as he wanted as he could increase his strength infinitely!

Took a deep breath, he calmed himself down.

With this, it was confirmed that AWE had infinite possibilities!

It depended on how he used it, and the limit was his creativity.

Breathing rhythmically, he relaxed his nerves.

"Alright! Let's become stronger!" He declared with a grin.

He didn't want to waste his time and wanted to be more and more stronger to guarantee his survivability in any perilous situation!

He adjusted his state of mind and put all his concentration into this.

He was ready after a while, and started.

Slowly, water emerged from his body and enveloped him in a spherical water blob.

The seat he was sitting on was also enveloped, but the target of the ability was himself so it was fine.

Inside it, Sena felt like he was drowning, but as a spirit, he lacked the necessity for the things such as food, oxygen, etc. Because all he needed to exist was mana or energy, which he had no issue of thanks to the Insta Recovery, so he was alright.

Feeling the surroundings and looking around, he made himself comfortable and closed both of his eyes.

Not long after, change started to happen to the spherical water.

It glowed red, faint at first, but then increased in intensity slowly as time passed until finally, it glowed so bright as if it was the sun itself!

If the truck was not in a camouflage mode, even with just the light that went through the window, the brightness of the light would surely attract unwanted attention.

What he did was not a small increase, but he went all the way to the main prize even though it was his first time using the ability!

He trusted AWE capabilities so much now.

The glow soon reached its peak and started to pulsate after that, like a heartbeat of some kind.

Time passed after that.

Seconds became minute, and minutes became hour, but nothing changed to the spherical water as it pulsating and glowing brightly.

One hour, two hours, three hours… the hours slowly flew by…

The sun slowly rose as well and after reaching the peak at noon, it started to slowly set into the western horizon.

With that, a day passed, but Sena was still enveloped inside.

It was not until the time reached the twenty nine hours mark that a change started to happen to the spherical water.

First the pulsating stopped, then a few minutes after that, the glowing red light slowly decreased its intensity as well until eventually, the red glowing light completely disappeared.

As the glowing light disappeared, Sena's figure could be seen inside the spherical water again, still with his closed eyes.

Appearance wise, nothing seemed to be changed about him, but surely, he gave a different vibe from before.

Sena opened his eyes slowly, blinking a few times, he looked around him.

He sat still for a while, reorganizing his mind, then smiled brightly after that, as the water that enveloped him slowly receded back into his body.

He raised his hand to his eye level, clenched it into a fist, and could feel clearly that he was absurdly much more stronger than the previous him!

"This is bullshit!!!" He grinned and let out a laugh.

The power increase was bullshit, but definitely a bullshit he really likes!!!

After all, he went all the way to a billion-folds enhancement! So in theory, Sena was now one billion times stronger than the previous him!!!

Bullshit!!!

Too exaggerating!!!

Grossly too OP, but please no nerf!!!

On top of that, he didn't need to acclimate himself with the sudden absurd increase of his power!!! As the AWE, like with the other abilities, gave anyone who got a power increase through the Power Enhancement Water information, absolute mastery, and experience of their new power. That in turn gives them an impression as if they were born with that strength to begin with.

Pfffft

Covering his mouth, Sena held his laughter.

"Shit!!! How strong am I now!!??" Sena wondered loudly.

He was kind of nervous and scared of himself.

A billion times!!!

In about a day and night!!!!

This is too much!!!

But Sena was delighted with the development!

He really was!!

So, again, please no nerf!!!

Despite the lack of need to breathe, Sena exhaled and inhaled rhythmically, struggling to calm himself down.

A moment later, he calmed down a bit and reclined in his seat.

He chuckled and grabbed his head.

"Damn! Could I wrestle Great Red now? With only my raw power on top of that!" He wondered with a grin.

He himself didn't know how strong he was. He had no way to compare himself with anything even from his memories.

But raw power wise, at first, he was more or less Ultimate Class level. And after the enhancement process, he was one billion times stronger than that!

So unquestionably, he had already surpassed the Super Devil threshold.

Heck! It was even possible that he was the strongest now if he was still in the Highschool DXD world! And the most absurd thing about all of this was this was not the end, as he could still get even more stronger with the PEW, or Power Enhancement Water!

He closed his eyes thinking about that and relaxed himself.

With this, at least he didn't need to use an avatar anymore to move. As even if Alaya or Gaia, or another Being in this world found out about his abnormalities, with his current strength, he could have a say or two in any confrontation or negotiation.

He would be fine even before this with the Absolute Defense that the AWE had, but he didn't want to take a risk.

Previously, before this moment, he was always tiptoeing and on high alert, afraid that Alaya or Gaia would find out about him being an outsider.

In the information which was fused with him, Sena found a fact that the guy who reincarnated him, in the transferring and summoning process, he pulled a string and made it as if Sena was a soul originated from here and a soul originated from the Root of this world.

So actually, Sena didn't have to worry about them.

But even so, he couldn't help but still worried that Gaia or Alaya would find out in the end, as he didn't know the details of what this "pulled a string" mentioned in the information was.

So he is always on high alert and always in a ready state to operate the Isekai Truck to get out of this world anytime.

He didn't want to have anything to do with either of those troublesome beings!

But until now, nothing had happened and he didn't have any confrontation with those beings. So it was highly likely that whatever this "pulled a string" was, working splendidly as it was impossible for Gaia or Alaya to just let him be if they found something abnormal about him.

So nothing would happen if he kept a low profile. And he intended to do so even with his new increased power. As he liked his journey to smooth sailing with less to no problem whatsoever.

He thought about an ability, and AWE responded to that as something imprinted into his mind.

He used that immediately as a very thin layer of water membrane appeared on the surface of his whole body, making his skin look glossy.

But soon after that, the glossy look disappeared and his skin became normal again.

The water membrane did not disappear though, only changed its appearance to look just like his skin, becoming the second layer of his skin.

If not for the fact that it was an ability he used himself, Sena himself wouldn't be able to tell at all that his entire body was coated with the membrane, as he couldn't feel any abnormalities when he feels his skin.

What was that water membrane?

It was the water of the Absolute Defense, but Sena added many concealment abilities as well, that he could turn on and off at will.

For now, he concealed his power and the aura which a spirit gave off, made him look like a normal human appearance wise and aura wise.

In the information which imprinted earlier, it mentioned that NO ONE would be able to tell when he turned on the concealment abilities, as he used the water of the Absolute Defense for that.

Feeling his skin, Sena nodded as he couldn't feel any abnormalities, and hopped out of the Isekai Truck.

The camouflage mode was still active, so from the outside perspective, Sena looked like just appeared out of thin air.

Outside the truck, even though it was undetectable and invisible, as the truck was his, he still could tell where it was clearly.

He raised his hand and unsummoned the truck, as it disappeared and returned back into him.

Looking around the surrounding area, Berserker and his avatar were there.

He first dispel the avatar, then raised his hand and encased the frozen Berserker in a spherical ice. He made a grabbing motion and the spherical ice shrunk down into the size of a glass marble, and he put that inside his pocket.

"I'll summon Raikou tonight. For now…" Sena looked at the sky, trying to determine what time it was through the position of the sun.

"Around 2 or 3 p.m…" Sena muttered, then used Water Sense to look for a bird and found a few sparrows around.

Through the water vapor, Sena froze one of them and with Water Movement, he teleported it into his hand.

He copied it, then made around a few dozen copies of it.

"Go!" He ordered after giving them instructions telepathically, and they flew in all directions.

He also unfreezed the original sparrow, then let it go as he dematerialized himself and used the Water Movement to teleport to the Matou's Mansion.

He appeared in Sakura's room, right behind her as he used the two copies of Berserker as the coordinate.

Sakura was sitting there, beside a window and looking outside expressionlessly.

Sena was not someone who could tell others thoughts through their expression, so he didn't know what was inside her mind currently.

But considering her age, maybe she was lonely?

'Probably missing her mother and sister?' Sena thought as he looked at her.

After everything, at the end of the day, she was still a little girl around 6 or 7 y.o. So it would only be natural for her to long for a motherly love.

Materialized himself, Sena smiled at her warmly.

"Hello Princess!" Sena greeted her.

Sakura turned around and looked at him. Her eyes enlarged slightly and a little glimmer of light could be seen slightly from her eyes.

"Sena Onii-chan…" Sakura softly said and smiled slightly at him. She was happy to see him again.

He might have been a stranger until recently, and it only had been two days since they were being acquainted with each other.

But even so, Sena gave her so much in these two days.

He helped her from a hell which her own family sent her into.

He was the one who pulled her from the pit full of suffering.

He saved Kariya too, another person who was so nice to her.

He went as far as killing Zouken to ensure her safety. She saw with her own eyes how Sena froze Zouken to death, and reduced him along with his worms into nothingness.

And even after that, he cared for her and protected her by giving her two guardians.

He was the second person after Kariya who was so nice to her after her own family threw her into the hell hole.

So she felt really happy when she saw him again.

He was her Hero.

Sena approached her, lowered his head and patted her head softly.

"How have you been?" He asked her, still with a smile that never left his face from the start.

"Good…" Sakura said softly.

"That's good then…" Sena looked at the window and asked, "What are you looking at?"

"No…" Sakura shook her head, "Nothing…"

Sena looked at her again and could see that she somehow looked more cheerful than the first time he met her.

She still looked withdrawn but not as bad as the first time he met her, as the emptiness in her eyes slowly fading away.

"Is that so…" Sena straightened up and looked at the door.

"Where is Kariya?"

"Uncle Kariya said that he wanted to look for a few documents in Uncle Byakuya's room."

"Document?" Sena raised one of his eyebrows hearing Sakura's answer, and thought that maybe Kariya finally decided to become the head of the Matou family.

Not wanting to disturb him, Sena sat on Sakura's bed and had a chat with her.

It was a very light chat in which he mainly asked something and she answered them, as she was a quiet and timid little girl.

It started from what she likes, the food, the color, the animal, why she likes them, places she likes, and places she wants to visit, etc.

From there Sena expanded the conversation without making her uncomfortable as much as he could.

At some point in the conversation, as it became boring staying inside the room, Sena left an avatar to stay and tell Kariya if he came, and brought Sakura to the city for a walk.

He realized suddenly that he had no money with him, so he borrowed some from an ATM by controlling water vapor and inserted it inside, then retrieved some with Water Movement into his pocket.

It was just some papers decorated with numbers anyway, so it was just a trivial thing.

Hand in hand, they visit a few places in the city, from a sweetshop, a few food stalls, a pet shop, and a few other places that interest them.

Sena wanted to visit other places as well, but as they were not something suitable for a little girl like her to visit, he just marked them for later and chose only a suitable one for her.

Time passed by, and unknowingly, the sun was already setting.

"Was that fun?" Sena asked Sakura as they sat on a bench.

Hugging the teddy bear, Sakura nodded and smiled at him timidly.

"Un! That was fun! Thank you, Sena Onii-chan!" She said all of that softly, but happiness could be heard clearly from her voice.

Looking at how she slowly and bit by bit became more and more like a child her age, Sena felt glad and patted her head.

Even if it was just a little bit, this change to her really made him feel relieved. At least with this, he knew that she would be alright in the future.

Why did Sena care so much about her?

She was his waifu, well… the teenage version of her, yes. But what made him care about her so much was because he saw for himself how horrible and disgusting the worms were.

They made him creepy-crawly enough in the anime, but looking at the real-life version of them sent shivers down his spine! They were really disgusting!! Added Zouken knowledge on top of that, he knew a little bit just how much suffering she had gone through this past year.

And she was just a little girl!

He was not made out of rock. He had a heart to feel. And to begin with, as his waifu, he had an empathy for her. So all the factors above made him sympathize with her even more.

"Want to buy something before going back?" Sena asked with a warm smile, rubbing her forehead with his thumb.

"Um… Is it alright?" She asked him timidly.

Sena let out a small sigh and pouted a bit at her.

"Sakura… No reservation, remember?"

"I'm sorry…"

"No, I'm not angry." Sena shook his head and chuckled lightly to show her.

"So?" Sena asked her again lightly.

"Um… then…" She shyly murmured, and looked at him.

"... Ice cream…" She said with a barely audible voice.

Ice cream? It was winter though? Is it alright? Sena was hesitant, but still smiling outwardly and not showing it on his expression.

He was worried that she would be sick, but the feeling of wanting to dote her win over him and nodded at her.

"Alright! Let's buy some ice cream on the way back!" Sena said enthusiastically as he stood up and offered his hand to her.

"Un!" Sakura nodded with a small smile and took his hand.

It was faint, but some light could be seen returning back into her eyes, chasing away the emptiness within.
