Falling Angels

After breakfast, the children had been sent to the children's area to hear the word of god, and color cute biblical coloring book pages. Hope sat in the pews while everyone else was in the main rooms listening to biblical lectures. Hope began to speak to the statue of Jesus nailed to the cross, "I..I'm wanting to help. I NEED to help. But, I need more clarity than small visions and dreams. I know you've lost faith in us...and I don't blame you one bit...but...it's my turn..OUR turn to help you, Heavenly Father. Just tell me, please. Please, please, please..I'm begging you to give me more of a direct answer or sign. I know I'm asking for a lot, but..." she paused and sighed. She rubbed her face and began to cry a little. She decided to continue speaking, "what I'm saying is I'm asking to please send help. I can't do this on my own. None of us really can. I..I don't know who's listening to me...to us.. but if you're other there..please help us."

Hope sat there staring at the statue as if it were going to speak back to her any moment. Five minutes passed, before she decided to get up and walk out. Just then the lights began going crazy, flickering on and off. She stopped. Everyone came out of their rooms, and they crowded by hope. Hope ran outside and looked to the sky.

It was just like her dreams, streaks of light were streaming down. The streaks were like shooting stars except they were a different color. It was a color of blue that resembled lightning. She began to have a vision. It clouded her vision. These beings were just a bright white light at first till their figures formed.

Wings spread open rather widely. Her father ran to Hope, "H-Hope!? Hope what do you see...these things falling from the sky are they dangerous?" Hope didn't speak. Her father grew worried, "HOPE ANSW-" Hope cut him off, "ANGELS!..they're angels. They're here to help. They're going to land in the field. I saw it in my dream. We need to go now! Let's go to them!" No one wasted any time grabbing baseball bats and guns to defend themselves, from a crate. Out the door they went. Hope ran in front of everyone. The field wasn't far. It was about 15 minutes away. 10 minutes if they all ran fast enough.

Upon reaching the field, they angels had touched down, into the open ground. Everyone was screaming and gasping. The ground vibrated. The impact was a bright light and a rush of high winds. It blew everyone back at least a foot away, from where they were originally standing.

Hope slowly stood to her feet as the being crawled out of the crater sized whole, "Hope? We heard you needed help."
