"Hey, Seora! Why are you staring blankly there? Quick, change into this and then we will put makeup on you!" Taeyeon showed me a teal green and black solid knit and woven high-low dress, it has a round neck, sleeveless, lace bodice, with a zip closure on the back, and attached lining. "I don't think that will look good on me? I prefer jeans and a shirt?" I was backing away slowly. Taeyeon grabbed my arm and forced me to wear it!
"See? It looks good on you! And you don't need to worry, you can use these shoes, it's heels are not that high so you won't have a hard time wearing it. I know you don't like wearing heels." She showed me a black front zip wedge shoe. I tried wearing it and it doesn't feel like it will hurt my feet, plus the heel is not that high so I think I will be fine. Taeyeon came closer with makeup in hand so I just closed my eyes and let her do her thing.
After we all got our makeup done, we all went out and hailed a cab and gave the address of the high-end bar, 'Dionysus Bar', that we recently found online. As we enter the bar the music is upbeat and there are people already dancing on the dance floor and having a good time. Even though it's just 8 pm it's already packed. Good thing we came early or we wouldn't be able to get a table. We settled down and ordered a round of drinks for us to relax first and look around.
Suddenly I looked to the left, but I didn't see anyone. I felt someone was looking at me and instinctively look at the direction where I felt the stare is coming from, but there are so many people I'm not sure which one of them is staring at me. "What are you looking at? Did you see any prospects?" Taeyeon looked at the direction I was looking at but didn't see anyone promising.
"Nah, I didn't see any cute guys. Just instinctively looked over there, someone must have been staring but not anymore." I told her. "Really? Too bad, he's not there. Must be, he lost interest? Well, who cares about that. Let's go dance!" The three of us went to the dance floor and started dancing by ourselves. Taeyeon pointed to Mi-Ju that a guy is looking at her and nodded to her. Mi-Ju danced with the guy and we were keeping an eye on her in case the guy did anything funny.
While Taeyeon and I are dancing, I suddenly made eye contact with a cute guy and he was smiling at me. Taeyeon saw it and smiled at me and whispered, "Go on dance with him. This is your chance to hook up!" She gave a gentle push. While I was smiling shyly and looking at the guy coming towards me, suddenly there was a girl that moved in front of the guy and danced up to him grinding her body to him. She turned her back on him and was grinding her a** on him, then she looked and glared at me as if warning me 'back off he's mine!'. So, I froze on the spot and slowly walk back towards Taeyeon.
Taeyeon looked at me and asked, "Why did you come back?" While looking at the guy being seduced by the other girl. "He was targeted and she was faster than me, so she had claimed her territory!" I said while laughing at how absurd the situation was. Looking at the guy again, even though he has an awkward smile on, he still let the girl do whatever lewd dance she can come up with on him. "So, how's Mi-Ju? Still dancing with the hottie?" I asked her while trying to spot where Mi-Ju is.
"I think they are done dancing, look she's coming back." She pointed towards Mi-Ju that is coming our way. We went back to our table to have a break and ordered another round of drinks before we interrogate her. "So? What's his name? He's a hottie! Did he ask for your number or did he gave his number to you? Does he have any handsome friends?" Taeyeon asked Mi-Ju nonstop, her eyes sparkling.
"No, we didn't exchange numbers. We just danced. He was nice, he didn't take advantage of me." Mi-Ju was saying shyly. "Awww, too bad! He's somewhat of a gentleman and good looking! Well, there's always a next time! And our purpose today is to have fun and not just get into a relationship too soon." I told Mi-Ju so that she won't get discouraged. She just smiled and nodded at what I said. I told them that I will go to the restroom and Taeyeon asked me to get another round of drinks for us on my way back. Just gave her a thumbs up and then walked to the bar first to order our drinks and asked to be sent to our table. When I was about to enter the restroom I heard a couple of girls screaming excitedly.
"OMG! He's here! I'll make sure that I get to dance to him and maybe we can get hooked up!" Girl A said. "You wish! He's so aloof and I haven't seen him dance with anyone or hooked up with any girl! But if you're lucky enough, don't forget to take me along with you! I have my eye on his friend! He's so handsome!" Her friend Girl B said.
I just ignored them, it's none of my business anyway. After using the toilet, I looked for our table and I was a little surprised to see that 3 guys are sitting with my friends. I timidly walked towards them, made eye contact with Taeyeon as if asking 'Who are they?'. Taeyeon smiled at me then at the guys, "Seora, I would like you to meet Jeong Ha Joon, Kim Bon-Hwa and Oh Chung-Ho. Guys this is Lee Seora our friend." She introduced the guys one by one starting from the left. The Ha Joon guy looks like the guy that was dancing with Mi-Ju earlier. They are all good looking men, and they seem nice? But for some unknown reason, I felt a sudden chill on my back…? Maybe I'm not used to the dress that's why I suddenly felt chilly?
