I bet they are the flies that were buzzing around Minghao that I sabotage. They must have found out about what I did and that's why they are all here. The girl that called me out was talking about something, but to be honest I don't care what she was saying so I wasn't listening to her and was just waiting for them to start. When she noticed that I wasn't listening, her face got uglier as she scowled at me.
She was shouting profanities at me and when she still didn't get the reaction she wanted from me, that's when they started to charge at me. It's a brawl between 6 girls and me, some of them were able to grab my hair and others were hitting me and scratched my face. Of course, I wasn't going to let them beat me up without getting back at them. I was able to grab hold of a broken wooden stick that was long and thick enough to use on them, while I hit them with my stick I kick some of them as well.
Long story short, because of all the noise a teacher came to look and saw us. They stopped the fight and we were brought to the principal's office. Our parents got called and we got suspended, good thing they didn't put it on my record since I'm graduating soon and I only got a 2-week suspension while they got 1 week. Even though it was obvious that they gang up on me, I still beat them up pretty badly with the use of the stick, hence the 2-week suspension.
When I got home I was scolded pretty badly and was grounded for the rest of my high school life. Good thing I'm graduating so that the punishment of grounding me won't last since I will go to uni and stay in the dorms.
While I was in seclusion inside my room, I thought about life and made a decision. I need to move on from this puppy love. I was selfish and despicable, I guess being grounded is a blessing in disguise. Since I'm not allowed to go out then I won't be tempted to go to my cousin's house to see 'him' there. And since I'm not allowed to have any visitors as well, then I won't hear any gossip or updates about 'him'. Like they say, 'Out of sight, out of mind', I'll just focus on studying for the college entrance exams.
With that, I spent my last months of high school studying. Though I spend days with my friends at school, my main focus is to avoid going out to his classroom and take a peek at him. I even asked my friends' cooperation to help me rehabilitate from this 'lovesickness', and they willingly helped me. So since my suspension, until my graduation, I didn't look for him, even though there are circumstances that we will cross paths at school, but with the help of my friends, they were able to help me somewhat avoid him if not, even gave me excuses to leave quickly.

I woke up having a headache, I dreamt about my high school life again. I can't help but feel complicated every time I have that dream. Like I want to scold myself for doing those crazy things. While I was still in a daze, sitting on my bed, Mi-Ju came into the room and looked at me. "Hey sleepyhead, check your phone. It's been ringing since morning." She was looking at me with obvious curiosity. When I looked at her attire I can see that she is pretty dolled up.
"What time is it? And where are you going?" I was still sleepy and thinking of going back to sleep. "I'm going to my part-time job. And you really should check your phone it was ringing non stop even heard some message notification. Might be an emergency?" She said, then waved goodbye and left.
I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and tried to open it, but the battery is dead. I charged it a little bit then tried to power it on. When I saw the missed called and the messages I suddenly panicked. What the hell is this!? I looked at the time and it's only 2:30 pm, what's with the missed calls and messages? I checked the last message, 'Since you are not answering I might as well go to your place and see if you're fine. I HOPE you did not oversleep and forgot about our date?" my eyes widen in shock! He's going to kill me!?
I was still staring at my phone still thinking if it was a joke or not when I heard the doorbell. I heard Taeyeon shouting 'wait a minute!' then I heard the loud 'clacking' sound of the door opening. I couldn't hear who she was talking to, but I heard Taeyeon called me.
Hoping it was just delivery, I slowly left my room… Lo and behold! I saw a smiling devil emanating an aura that is ready to kill me! Relax, let's play stupid and pretend I don't know why he's here? With a glimmer of hope that my acting skills will be adequate enough, I started my act.
"Minghao? Why are you here? Are you visiting someone?" I hope I'm showing a genuine look of confusion here. He looked at me from head to toe. I mustn't give in to fear! Please don't notice I'm lying!
"Heeh? You really don't know why I'm here? I can see you are holding your phone, so I can assume that you saw the missed calls and messages?" He was smiling but I can feel the room getting chilly.
"This phone? This isn't mine! This is Mi-Ju's phone she had forgotten to bring it, so I was about to go outside and see if I can still catch up to her and give her phone." I was smiling and tried to look innocent when I saw him put his hand in his pocket. With a questioning look, I can see that he took out his phone, unlocked it and typed something. Looking at him fiddle with his phone I suddenly have this feeling of foreboding. Like I somehow see my imminent doom?
