I'm here to pick you up (3)

I held the tripod high ready to swing it down when one of the crew grabbed me by the waist to stop me.  I struggled to get free but he was grabbing me tightly, so what I did is that instead of hitting the devil's incarnate with the heavy tripod, I just let it go and let the weight of the tripod hit him on the stomach then it hit his head when the other end of the tripod fell down towards him!  Hah! So satisfying!

          With the double hit, he screamed like a pig and don't know which part of his body to hold first while squirming in pain.  With all the ruckus I broke free from the crew guy's hold and walked away from them.

          "Still haven't changed.  Making trouble anywhere you go."  Someone said. I looked left and right but didn't know who said it.  When I looked at the front I saw a smiling Jihoonie looking at me.

          I stared at him stupidly, what is he doing here!?  While I stared at him I noticed that the sweet and warm smile that he has had turned into an icy one.  I suddenly felt a chill run down my spine.

          I know that smile very well, that is his angry smile whenever someone or I made him upset or mad.  

          "Um, what are you doing here?"  I asked him nervously. Trying to quickly look around for a chance to slip away and escape.

          "I came to pick you up."  He simply said and walked towards me.

          With his simple words, it made my heart skip a beat and just let him lead me out.  We walked towards a parked car and he opened the door at the back for me to get in and he sat in the passenger seat.

          He told the driver to drive somewhere and we left.  "Where are we going?" I asked him since I wasn't able to hear what he said to the driver.

          "Just sit there and relax.  If you fell asleep I will wake you up."  He told me. 

          "But I want to know where we're going!"  I tried to scoot forward so that I can see his face but he just pushed my head, firmly but gently, back in my seat.

          "Don't do that it's dangerous, and fasten your seatbelt."  He chided me.

          I sat down and obediently followed his order.  I looked out of the window and watched the scenery changed, from the rice fields to beautiful autumn trees.  They are beautiful that I can't help but took out my phone and took pictures.

          While I was taking pictures my phone vibrated and one of the songs that I set as a ringtone was heard.  I saw that it was my friend.

          "Hello, Chearin?"  I answered.  

          "What the hell did you do!?  I heard that you caused a scene and left the filming set!  I just asked you this ONE favor and you can't even do it?! How will I be able to come back and work there!"  She shouted so loudly that I pulled the phone away from my ear.

          Even if the phone is not on a loudspeaker, inside this quiet car you can clearly hear what she was screaming about.  "Hey, listen to me. It was that devil's fault! He threw that stinking coffee at me and I lost my temper! He shouldn't do that to others he is not the boss of the production crew!  You should have been t-" I was trying to tell her what happened when she interjected.

          "I don't care!  You should keep a reign at your temper and shouldn't have implicated me!  He is friends with one of the investors! If he finds out we're friends it will affect me!  My chance of being discovered and become an actress will be ruined! You should go and beg him to forgive you!"  She ordered me.

          I was so shocked that I can't help but laugh at how outrageous she was!  "Oh yeah? Then why didn't you just started working there in the first place and had to ask me to sub for you huh?  Oh, right! You were 'sick'! Tell me, how is your recuperation at the beach? Is the daily injection of your dead-beat-freeloading boyfriend's d*ck making you feel better?  I guess a daily dose of being creampied will make you healthier huh?!" I mocked her.

          "Wh-what the f*ck are you ta-talking about!  I'm really sick and at the hospital recuperating!  Don't-!" She was stammering and trying to make an excuse when I cut her off.

          "Oh please!  At the hospital?!  I went to that so called 'hospital' and I was told there was never a Park Chearin ever went there to be admitted or even have a doctor's consultation!  You kept doing this but I just let it go considering we have been friends since college, but you have gone too far this time! You are not my boyfriend or lover for me to tolerate, as****le!  Don't bother me anymore or call me! Good luck picking up after the mess I made for a change!" I shouted at her and ended the call.

          I was still angry when I caught Ji Hoon's side view.  He had his head turned to the window and looking at the scenery.  I just look at his face shamelessly since he won't be able to see me staring at him, I will take this opportunity to cleanse my eyes and heart at this beautiful view.

          I guess being seated at the back seat has its advantages.  I tried not to stare intensely or he might actually try to turn around and see me staring at him, like what I did in high school.  It may be embarrassing but he did catch me staring at him one time, way back in high school. Good thing he was sitting by the window and I just made an excuse that I was looking out the window when I'm actually not! 

          I stopped staring at him when I'm not that angry anymore and just looked out the window.  I really like watching the scenery change outside. While I was watching I felt so relaxed that I started to feel sleepy.  I closed my eyes and went straight to sleep not realizing that someone turned around to look at me.

          "Ae-Ri ah, wake up.  The teacher is here."  Someone is gently shaking me to wake up.  The deep voice that was calling my name is sweet as honey and I would want him to keep calling my name forever.
