Arc 4.8 Devon

Devon was baffled, he could not believe what he was seeing.

"This is a 100 million evolution points body."

Devon looked at the coquettish man who had fallen on top of him and was clinging to his embrace, his face could not darken even more.

"Host?" The coquettish man said who was Xiao Xiao.

Xiao Xiao who had descended after evolving has golden hair as bright as the sun, skin as white as snow, and pouty red lips that could tease a man to fall to their knees begging for his love only to get slapped and kicked in the end.

"Xiao Xiao?" Devon said in a bit of a daze.

"Yes, Host! It's me, Xiao Xiao!"

Xiao Xiao grinned showing his beautiful pearly white teeth while exposing his little fangs. His dog ears stood erect while his 10 tails swayed side by side in happiness.

"Hm. It is indeed you." Devon sighed.

Like a father, he worries for the child's future. 

Just with his face alone, many men would definitely go after him.

How could he protect him if someone tries to trick him with a candy to go with them when he is not looking?!

So many lustful men! 

His family's Xiao Xiao will bring lots and lots of trouble!

"Host?"

Xiao Xiao who did not know of what was on his Host's mind looked at him in wonder. And just like how he always do when he was just a little fur ball, he lick his Host's face like the dumbass he was.

"......." Devon felt like a rabid dog just lick his face.

"You, who are you?!" The high mage roared after he came back to his senses after he saw Xiao Xiao fall from out of nowhere to Devon's arms.

"Hik!"

Xiao Xiao who has small guts got scared and even buried his face into Devon's embrace trying to curl his body smaller as if by doing so could hide him away from the high mage's eyes burning with anger.

"You. Shameless! What are you doing trying to seduce the Emperor with your naked body?!"

The high mage roared. 

Fire almost came out of his mouth due to anger. 

If not for the ML holding him back he would have long ago cast a spell of oblivion to make Xiao Xiao disappear.

Hearing the High Mage's words, Xiao Xiao and Devon look at each other in realization.

Xiao Xiao burst into red embarrassment. 

His whole body became flush red making him more enticing to the viewer's eyes which only made the high mage fume more in anger.

Devon on the other hand could only sigh in amusement, he ruffled the hair of his dumb System.

Being laughed at, Xiao Xiao became even red, cooked like a shrimp.

He glared at Devon threateningly but he only looked like a pouting beauty being bullied by a hooligan.

Poof!

Unable to take the embarrassment, Xiao Xiao turned to his original form. A soft cuddly ball of furr but now with 10 tails added to the fur.

"Wha?!"

The high mage looked shocked when Xiao Xiao turned into a beast. His eyes were burning with fury turned into worry instead.

"Your majesty, him..."

"He is my contracted beast. No one can bully him."

Devon's eyes turned cold different from his attitude seconds ago which froze the High Mage on the spot. He opened and closed his mouth but no words came out.

"No words of what happened today should come out. You know what to do." Devon looked him up and down with his cold eyes before leaving.

"As you command, your Majesty." The High Mage said to the man who had long disappeared.

He looks into the empty air, worry and resentment showing clearly on his face.

"A fox. Not just a fox but a ten-tailed Demon fox that could even overturn the world."

The High Mage sighed as a passage of the prophecy passed his mind.

"He who obtains the Ten-Tailed Demonic Fox shall obtain the world."

"The world...will no longer be peaceful."

The high mage kept on lamenting walking away.

The ML who just heard a big secret still held a smile on his face and quickly caught up with the High Mage while stealing a kiss on the spot.

Boink! 

"Hey! You stop it or I'll turn you into a frog!" The High Mage yelled flush red.

"Hm." The ML nodded with a smile.

Seeing his usual actions after stealing a kiss from him again and again, the high mage could not even gather any more strength to beat him anymore and walk away.

The ML quickly followed suit only to be chased away. 

But who is he anyway? 

He is the ML.

Chasing his Target is what he is good at. 

His wife can't chase him away this easily unless he is dead! 

No. 

Not even in death will he let him go.

Even as a ghost, he will cling to this utterly adorable man who was his teacher and also his dream lover - his future wife who keeps on chasing him away.

"You stop chasing this old man!" The High Mage roared hastening his steps.

The ML looked at the back of the High Mage, and he smiled.

Running towards him, he held his hand and gently whispered.

"You are not old at all."

"You?!"

The High Mage looked like he was about to suffer a heart attack given the ML's attitude. He tried to take his hand back but it was grabbed on tightly by this wolf dressed as a sheep.

'Ah! He really saw wrongly when he thought that he was such an innocent baby lamb when he first came into that world! Who knew this sheep has a black belly!'

Not being able to get his way, he begrudgingly stomped his feet and walked away with the wolf who caught him hand in hand.

The ML who had won smiled in victory.

He laid a gentle kiss on the hand of his lover preparing to take a beating after.

The High Mage indeed looked back at him, his lips on a thin line.

The ML sighed and readied for a beating but did not expect the High Mage's lips to fall on his. Though it was fleeting, it left a mark that tickled his heart.

"Stop teasing this old man or I will beat you up." The High Mage said before leaving the stunned ML on the spot.

The ML who had frozen on the spot smiled foolishly when he realized what just happened. With a big smile, he ran to the man who had a leash on his dog's neck.

'World domination or whatever, nothing matters as long as you are by my side.'
