『CuddleBug』

The hitmen have since left the Stacy property, but for obvious reasons, she refused to go home. Being the gentleman that he is, Jack gave her his oversized school uniform dress shirt.

Leaving him in a simple white t-shirt nonetheless.

Gwen smiled faintly up at him, clearly embarrassed, though much grateful for the shirt he put on her. It smelled like him, and it was warm.

Jack had shown some more interest in her, even if it was just a part of her. So she padded behind him as he began to silently make his way out of the kitchen and towards the stairs.

When they may it to the top of the steps, the place was relatively the same to hers, but somewhat different. The hallway seemed narrower, there were more compartments and doors.

After taking a right and making it all the way down to the end of the hall, he opened a door and took a step inside. He didn't even glance behind himself to see if she was still there. Let alone following him..

Jack flicked the switch and the second story bedroom lit up with a faint neon blue hue. The room was not brightly lit, despite there being neon strips outlining the ceiling and the black carpeted floor.

At the opposing end of the room, from the door, there was a king size waterbed with a black panel frame with a set of drawers built into the headboard. There was even a lava lamp on top of it.

Gwen's eyes moved from left to right, slowly taking in the view. She couldn't tell if the walls were blue or white, or maybe even a neutral grey. There was no natural light coming into the room, the window as blocked by a blackout curtain.

A small smile curved over her lips, as moments ago she had been panicking in Jack's arms. Now she was standing in the doorway of his room, a boys room!

At first glance she would've thought that a boy's room would be more exciting. If anything, his was plain from the narrow entryway of the room.

The floor was clean, except for maybe an article of clothing or two. The place was a bit too tidy, the only thing really giving it the look of being lived in is the disturbed sheets.

"You never told me you had a water bed!" Gwen walked further into the room, as the shape of the room had an entrance hallway which limited the view from the door. Along the right wall from the door was a closet, and on the left was a television.

Jack blinked, "Never asked," was really the only response he gave since he didn't think of ever having to tell someone what kind of bed he had..

No video games in sight, but there was a laptop on the top of the headboard. She pursed her lips and glanced over towards Jack before sitting on the end of the water bed, bouncing from the impact.

"Hehe..." She giggled at the feeling of the water beneath her. "I never slept on a water bed before," she turned her head towards him with a squint. "So how come you never invited us over?"

Jack just stared at her for a few moments as she was seated on the foot end of his waterbed and its frame, her shirt only half buttoned up. "Too many weapons lying around."

The smile vanished from her face as he heard him say there were too many weapons lying around. Her eyes darted around the room, but she saw nothing. There were no guns, no knives. Then her eyes as they were adjusting to the light more, began to spot more compartments, hidden ones. Things that before she had gotten her enhanced spectrum of senses, she wouldn't have seen.

"So first... Your house is soundproof..."

"So I can sleep at night, yes."

"Second, you have weapons hidden in your walls," she glanced over towards the drawers of the headboard. "And probably in your bed."

"Affirmative and... Just under the pillow."

Blinking at this, she looked to him with a brow raised, "What are you? James Bond?" Gwen didn't take her time making a joke based one something so little.

"... I don't get that many girls."

Puckering her lips in thought when she got his response, which didn't seem all that enthusiastic, she caressed her chin slightly in a teasing fashion. "How many have you gotten? Hmmm?"

Jack just stared again, as if thinking it was a trick question, so he just pointed at her.

"Oh," she dropped the teasing act as she settled where she sat, resting her hands down at her sides. "I see..." From what she gathered, she was the one and only girl who probably had the chance to date him, let alone be friends with him.

Not counting MJ, of course. Gwen and Mary Jane were two peas in a pod, they shared everything, including friends. Though that might change, she might not want to share her boyfriend.

"So... Left or right side?" Gwen tilted her head to the side. Being here made her feel safe, though she had no real idea how to fight a bad guy outside of basic self-defense lessons.

Jack tended to move around in his sleep, and he never really chose a side. His eyes traced over his sheets as he walked over to the bed. His eyes then abruptly shifted to her, "...Cuddle...?"

She did not expect him to suggest anything other than which side he was going to sleep on. Even then, she had predetermined she wanted the right side of the bed. However, his one word made her face turn a bright tinge of red. Not that it could very well be seen in the dim lit room.

"I..."

Jack tilted his head to the side slightly, he didn't wear much of an expression. He kind've looked like a robot for a moment there until he raised a brow at her hesitation to answer.

"Mmm..." Gwen stared up at him as she tried to think of if she wanted to suddenly push them this far. Cuddling was intimate on some level, but she didn't know how far it would go. She was in control...

"...I could have stolen a kiss from you while you were stuck in the window... I demand a reward for surrendering the opportunity." Jack pointed out a completely ridiculous reason, which sounded more like a joke than anything else. Though it was the truth, he very well could have.

"Pfffff! You stared at my ass," Gwen rolled her eyes at this and shook her head. "Fine, we'll cuddle you big doofus." She gestured for him to follow as she would begin to crawl on all fours across the waving bed of water.

Jack's eyes watched as her legs, and slender form, as its shaped warped about in his shirt. Shifting as she crawled. He swallowed shallowly, without a sound before taking off his belt and dropping it to the floor, then he followed after her slowly.

When they made it to the center of the room, they both dropped onto their sides. Sending ripples and small waves in all directions around them.

Jack sniggered and Gwen couldn't help but snort.

Pausing, Jack pointed to her, "Did you just..."

"No, no I didn't." Gwen placed a finger on his lower lip as they laid on their sides, facing one another.

He moved his head back slightly feeling her finger on his lip. "Mmm... Is that so...?" His eyes narrowed on her, his eyes drooping slightly. "So how far did you get on the drawings?"

Gwen huffed, "No where."

He shrugged, "About the same, but I have some ideas in my head." Jack's hands slithered across the sheet which was between them and wrapped around her lower waist.

Blinking up at him as he reeled her in, pressing bringing her in to cuddle, as his one arm would diagonally move across to her upper back. She bit her lower lip and rested her chin on his collar, looking up at him as their legs intertwined.

The only person she had slept with unrelated to herself was Mary Jane during their sleep overs when they were younger. Though she had never cuddled or spooned with anyone before, definitely not like this.

"...So," Jack leaned down as he went to press his forehead against hers. "Why was Eugene claiming you as his earlier...?"

She stared up at him for a few moments before shrugging, "Dated him freshman year... He became overly possessive over me and who I was with, the last straw was when he spiked my drink with alcohol, so I ended it. Since then, he's been a nuisance, going after just about anyone in general who gets close to me..." The narrative to Jack sounded like a typical teenage or even adult relationship gone sour. Through most of it though, Jack just listened to her voice.

"Still possessive even after you end the relationship..." Jack clicked his tongue behind his teeth, his eyes closing a bit. The one hand on her lower back, balled up slightly against his shirt she wore.

Smiling up at him sheepishly, as it was likely her fault that Jack was practically the center of Eugene's bullying. Slowly, she lowered her head and rubbed her face into his chest, resting her hands up against him.

"I've... I've liked you for a while now, Jack." She resumed her gaze up at him, but had the side of her face flattened into his sternum. "...So you can just ignore him, okay?"

Jack just stared down at her for a few seconds, before tilting his head to the side ever so slightly.
