『Gettin' Fisky』

Once her father was sure she was alright, George Stacy headed home in order to make some repairs to the front door and add some more security. He never wanted to have someone break in and threaten his little girl again. Little did he know though, his daughter was far more capable of defending herself than he had ever thought possible.

Shortly after he left, Jack and Stacy crept out the chimney in their spidersuits.

"It's actually quite roomy in that shaft, I might say," Stacy quipped as she came out the top, looking around for a few seconds before hopping down onto the roof to the left.

The two of them were invisible thanks to the stealth capabilities of the suit. Though they still had a bit of soot that gave a slightly ghostly effect to their movements.

As Jack exited the chimney, he looked over at Gwen with a brow raised, not really agreeing with the shaft being all that roomy. If anything it was tight for both of them to move through, and he was the one who opted to go through the window. He was pretty sure she just wanted to test out her powers of sticking to things.

Pursing his lips though as he stood beside her, they could see the tough work her father was going through. Cameras everywhere on the front and back doors.

It was likely the thermostat was also going to have an electronic eye. That would definitely be annoying. Though at the same time, it would allow him to see who was entering his house at all times, as well as anyone rummaging through the interior.

"Your father is pretty... Cautious," He sighed quietly under his mask.

Gwen nodded when he spoke and tilted her head as she ran a hand over the hood she had over her masked face. "Once Fisk has been taken care of, my dad won't have to worry about my life."

"Your day life," Jack corrected with a light snicker as he tried to give a joke.

Gwen snorted at his words and looked over at the direction he was in. She could see him thanks to the hub of the suit he had given her. He was outlined in blue, but he was still transparent.

"Let's get going before he tries knocking on the door again." He'd gesture towards the destination that the school jock was currently being held hostage with his posse.

Nodding with great vigor, the two would take a running jump off to the roof. Spinning webs, they jumped from top to top. It was the first time she had been able to do parkour.

She jumped up sides of buildings, ran up walls, flipped over obstacles. The freedom of the suit even with its protections, felt amazing. It was hardly moving or rubbing against her body.

They were completely unseen by most, there was no danger to them. Their temperature controlled suits kept them out of the eyes of infrared surveillance.

It didn't take long for them to arrive in the marina, a bit down from the harbor where all the warehouses were. As they stood on top of a yacht, his eyes narrowed on the buildings.

The eye pieces of his suit zoomed in on the surrounding area. He could see armed goons in broad daylight guarding the designated location of Eugene Thompson.

Gwen was getting a bit riled up, though she was a bit disappointed that she had been invisible the entire time. She could only imagine how people would've been in awe at her skills. She couldn't help but giggle, lightly jumping in place.

"I see you're plenty ready." Jack commented and shook his head, watching her behavior. The two would then start hopping from boat to boat in the marina. Eventually being forced to run along the dock and along the mostly flat asphalt.

Once they reached the warehouse however, they started climbing up the walls and onto the roof. There were snipers on the roof of the one they needed to enter.

A small snicker left Jack's lips. He hadn't brought along an weapons this time as he planned on using the powers he had at hand. His DNA was not just a regular spider, his name as the Recluse was directed from his necrotic venom he could spur out on his enemies.

So as they were soon on the neighboring warehouse, Gwen and Jack were perched on the roof, eying them and their movements. They seemed to switch positions, all whilst remaining within eyeshot of one another.

Not that it would help them all that much.

Jack counted that there was at least thirteen seconds that all of them were not looking at one another at the same time. That was only when they were rotating corners. He counted another ten seconds when they were scanning the area by turning their heads side to side.

Gwen though was also able to tell some of them was hardly even paying attention to their surroundings. Their job was hardly of interest, doubting that an assassin would come to save a group of people despite his recent deeds.

When the two looked at one another, they smiled under their masks.

Standing up from the edge, they took hold of one another's hands and took several steps back. Then, they charged forward, their footsteps hardly making a sound as they then kicked off the edge. Raising their hands in the air, they had leapt several feet into the air and glided right onto the targeted roofing with a light thud.

One of the Snipers who were paying attention, glanced over his shoulder, but saw nothing. Flexing his eyesight, his gaze matched with another sniper who looked over towards him.

The guy at the other corner waved slightly, "Bubba, you alright over there?"

"Yeah, Keith, I'm good." His eyes flickered side to side suspiciously before looking forward again.

However as he was looking away, it was now the thirteen second break.

Gwen and Jack separated and each went for a sniper.

Bubba with his back to the Spiders, stared off towards the ocean on the horizon. A faint smile across his lips until he felt a hand on his shoulder. And when he turned his head, a foul stench filled his nose followed by a burning sensation.

Venom had been sprayed in his face, he couldn't even scream because his voice was the first thing to go. With a slight of hand, he swiped the sniper from his hand, only for Jack to then push the poor man off the edge to his death, his face smashing into the cement below behind a dozen or so crates. His body was effectively hidden.

Jack turned his head just in time to see Gwen kicking the one known as Keith off the side of the Roof. Though he let out a yelp, it didn't seem to attract the attention of the other two, until the fleshy thud was heard. He was unconscious due to landing on a high standing extension with excessive force.

"What was that?" The one of Snipers who were just finishing their position change turned to look at their colleague's locations only to see no one. "Bubba?"

"Keith?" The other one blinked seeing no one there, until glancing down to the front of the warehouse, seeing his fellow worker laying dead on the ground.

Jack simpered seeing the visible panic in the eyes of the villains. Raising the sniper in one hand, he pointed it towards the man diagonally across from him on the flat roof top.

Gwen stared at him with the gun, then looked to his target. Was this really the only way to deal with this? She questioned Jack's intentions, whether or not he was really going to stop killing.

She knew though that these men would only keep coming back, and now that she kicked a man off the rooftop, she knew she was no longer as innocent as she once was. Though she at least didn't kill him.

"Do you think the Recluse is here!?"

"There is no way he could've taken out two men that spaced out on his own!"

"Call the boss, we have to le--"

BANG, the man's head practically blow apart as a bullet ripped through the side of his face.

Jack made up his mind, and turned the scoped sniper rifle to the next man.

Gwen's stomach churned at the sight of all that blood and placed her hand over her mouth.

"SHIT!" The last one standing screamed as he fumbled his walkie talkie he took off his belt. he went to sprint towards the roof entry door. "Bo--"

BANG.

A high powered shot rang out and the man's scrawny leg was blown off, blood splattering everywhere on the roof. The man started to scream, hardly feeling the pain due to the shock. His eyes moved to the smoking barrel of the gun and the Recluse Assassin that became visible.

"Greetings my friend," Fisk's voice spoke from the talkie.

BANG.

Jack let out another shot, silencing the man and destroying the communications device.

Flickering his vision to infrared, he could see Fisk was making his way out of the building down below. There were a few teens being lead behind him with bags over their heads. A chuckle escaped his lips before he looked up to see Gwen staring at him, her hands over her mouth.

For a second there he blinked a few times before dropping the commmandeered weapon.

"Stop killing... Only kill when it's necessary!" It hadn't been essential to kill these men. He could've easily knocked them unconscious, tied them up. The only one here that would get out of jail was Fisk, and he was the one who needed to die.

Gwen then turned, becoming visible as she went over towards the edge to look down as she heard a vehicle screech to a stop in front of the building. Her eyes narrowed on the egg shaped bald head of a burly man approaching a van.

"Load'em up!" Fisk turned and shouted to his men, before narrowing his eyes on a white black and red heroine on the the rooftop. "Now who might that be..." He grinned sharply, taking a fully automatic weapon off one of his men.
