As the time has passed and the new generation of witch and wizards arrives at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there are big changes that happened.

New technologies used with magic for new ways of teaching is implemented, trying to replace and improve the old ways and beliefs. And so the curriculum has drastic changes.

Different wizard schools' exchange students were accepted from time to time, and few exceptional Hogwarts students were also sent to different schools. The Triwizard tournament and the Quidditch games is not only the things students look forward to join. The hostility between houses were already thinning.

There are also things that did not change.

Witch and Wizards enters the school at 11 years old, the same subjects before were taught, and the halls did not change except for the added rooms. 

The houses stayed the same, still with the rivalry and the clear distinction and differences between them.

But there is something that people would not like to happen and that is war.

And that will most likely happen in the near future.

Why?


It is just that enemies of the previous generation came back.

With formidable allies.

And new forces taking over their left, unfinished businesses.

A Witch in Training

There is a feeling that someone is staring at him, so he looked at that direction and he saw her with a questioning look. 


Seeing that she got found out, she forced out to give him a smile and returned her focus on the sorting. Which failed because she totally cannot focus with the thought of being caught staring earlier.


Ugh, that was so... awkward. And embarassing. Why did he looked back?


Meanwhile, the one Ezereath was looking at earlier, did not remove his gaze from her.


You were staring at me, so I'll return what you've did. 


The other student's names were being called, and the number of students with her is getting smaller.


Wood. Lol. Maybe next there'll be another element. Like Water or Fire -related names.


A tree. That has a wood. That grows from the ground.


"Are there magic families with the surname Granger?"


"Magic Family? Isn't he a muggle born?"


Granger? Muggleborn? Like Hermione Granger from Dumbledore's Army?! As in THE GRANGER with HARRY POTTER?!


"Maybe I'll ask him how is he related with Hermione Granger..." Ezereath mumbled.


His ears perked. His jaws clenched. His fists tightened. Yet he did not make any sounds of protests.


He continued watching from the sidelines, and will continue even if he's called until her name is called.


She gives off a very approachable vibe... but I think she's not really talkative. Why?


A Hufflepuff in Hufflepuff? Hahaha! Obviously she'll be in Hufflepuff because she is... a...Huf... fle... puff?... 


"A descendant of the founder?" The strawberry blonde haired boy again questioned, but he is now looking at Ezereath. She does not know whether to laugh or cry.


I am not a Public Information Officer brother, I am just a student like you... 


But... the answer is already laid out, right?


"Oh, state the obvious. She's a Hufflepuff, and how many Hufflepuffs are there that is not related to one of the Founders?" 


The house of Hufflepuff became noisy. They were happy because a Hufflepuff--- their house's founder's descendant, is with them. But then, the noise died down because they realized what they did--- and others got embarassed by their actions.


Mavis Hufflepuff went down and Ezereath did not remove her gaze from her, curiousity in her eyes. Mavis turned her head and saw her and she gave Ezereath a smile.


Fuuuu~ Her smile is so sweet~ She looks like an angel!


Her mood became better and she kept on smiling, which made the boy who's gaze is locked on her, drop his good mood from awhile ago.


From making a reminder to interact with another boy to giving a smile to another student makes him feel something he did not felt for 11 years.


The chill that came from the boy was felt by the students around him, and they kept their distance from him.
