The Power of Justice

*Duke's POV*

After they warmed me up and cleaned my head from the dried up blood Petunia brought me to the biggest police station in London.

I know, the biggest, not the nearest 'Probably thinking that the farther away I am from her and her family, the better. Well jokes on her because I feel the same way for them. If what I've read in the novels were true, then I say good riddance' I thought to myself while being carried to the entrance of the police station

I looked at the place trying to see if anything noteworthy would appear. I remembered that during this time the magical world would be celebrating the defeat of Moldyshorts like no tomorrow.

Sadly to say, all I saw was a lot of parked civilian and police cars. Then my eyes shined like a million volts light show when I saw a Rolce Roys parked near the entrance

'That looks so cool!' I was fan boying inside my head when I saw the luxury car so up close 'I never even got to see any sports or luxury cars in the Philippines!'.

While I was distracted by the car Petunia was already talking to a policewoman and was being escorted inside the station to make a police report and clear all formalities.

We went inside the lobby and Petunia was asked to wait outside the door and sat at a nearby chair. I noticed that there was a young man seating next to us looking all depressed.

'looks like someone ran into trouble with the police, I'll cheer him up a bit. I got nothing to do anyways' with that decided, I coed at him to get his attention.

And thanks to my adorable smile and over all cute face he was soon gushing at me 'heh! what can I say, CUTE IS JUSTICE!! bow down to my cuteness!'

*Prince Andrew's POV*

I'm Andrew Albert Christian Edward the second Prince of the United Kingdom. And yes people, my mother's the Queen.

Yesterday was Halloween and my Queen mother had a party at the Buckingham Palace to help welcome the ambassador from UAE in their courtesy visit for a trade talk

So you could say that I had a stiff and busy day that was meant to be a joyous occasion. So I decided to go out secretly and took a random car 'how would I know that driving a Rolls Royce without a license plate, drivers license and and any type of identification would land me in big trouble

'I have chauffeur's for that kind of things for goodness sake!'

They brought me to the station to question me about my identity and how dare this officer even think I would steal a car 'but then again, taking it out of the Palace without my mother's permission could be seen as such'.

Although they were showing insolence by not giving me proper greetings and all I really can't blame them. it is I that choose to hide my identity. Besides, I'm really curious what the inside of a police station looks like.

And now that I'm here, I can utterly say with confidence that there is nothing of note worthy in this establishment. I was contemplating wither to announce myself and demand for a representative of the Royal family to pick me up or wait for them to find me.

While I was busy thinking, I heard a child coing at me. I looked up to see what this is all about only to see the most adorable child reaching out to me

So I oblige the child and asked the woman carrying him if I could hold him. Now most people would think that a mature woman holding a baby would naturally be the said child's mother but it was clear to me that the woman has no love for the child 'Is that loathe I see?'

'what is wrong with her? the child clearly looks like an angel! why on Earth would she loathe him?' So I asked her just to make sure.

"Excuse me madame, but is this child yours? could I possibly know this little angels name?" I asked her politely and let me tell you, her reply is unbecoming of a proper English woman and certainly a far cry from a lady

She snorted at me, SNORTED! which proper English lady dares do that at a prince! and she didn't even give me any sign of a proper courtesy that a gentleman such as I rightfully deserve.

She just unceremoniously told me "I'm not the mother of that freak and no I don't know who he is".

Startled and definitely angered by her brass and curse words I forgot myself and actually raised my voice in defense of the child.

"What do you mean freak!? Lady! that is not how you treat or address a child! no matter who his parents are, be they rich or poor, black or white, not even if their innocent or a criminal! no child deserve to be called a freak! specially a little angle such as him!"

With my righteous fury being heard all over the lobby and inside the office I can successful say that I garnerd everyone's attention

One of the Police officer talking to the man in the front desk noticed the commotion I made and came to our spot and asked as what the matter is all about.

Still fueled by my righteous indignation I told the officer without hiding my displeasure about the woman sitting next to me

"Officer, this woman called this little bundle of joy in my arms as a freak! A freak I tell you! who would dare utter such words to a child!?"

The officer looked at the child in my arms and from the looks in his eyes I can tell he also feel In love with this little angel which actually helps my case for the said officer instantly favored my side.

"Excuse me ma'am but what is your relationship with this gentleman and the child his holding? and what gives you the right to call a child as innocent as he as a freak? INSIDE of a police station nonetheless? hhmmm?".

Oh! I like how he uses authority to intimidate the hateful woman and judging by the baby's giggling and by his clapping hand, he also approves.

"I have no relation to that freak and I certainly don't know that young man and that freak in his hands! I just saw him in a basket infront of my house this morning!" The woman hysterically shouted at us while pointing heatedly at the child.

then I heard an old couple sitting infront of us say "Woman! that is not how you speak or treat a child! just because he was left at your doorstep does not make him a freak, it makes him an Orphan!!".

then I heard a lady behind me say "Look lady, you could be arrested for what you just said and do. The way you speak to that child could be seen as child abuse in any court not to mention you dared raise your voice and wantonly pointed at a police officer when he asked a question".

Then the police officer finally said "Excuse me ma'am but I believe we would need to have further talk inside on how to properly behave in public and how to treat a child like a human being because as far as I could see, your not fit to go near any child".

So the officer called for his partner and dragged the woman inside for further questions while she just shouted "I'm an upstanding citizen! I don't deserve this treatment!" all the way until we couldn't hear her anymore.

Serves her right! how dare she call this child a freak!? doesn't she know? Cute is JUSTICE!! and Justice always prevails!
