All he needed was his company out of bankruptcy as soon as possible before his father gets to find out about it. Michael knew his father would take the news of the bankruptcy really hard as the man had worked so hard to create this company and to bring it up to this stage.
But the competition the company was facing now is so bad, far much worse than when his father was CEO and he had tried but still. He was not good enough to keep the company afloat.
He knew his father would understand but that didn't mean he would be happy about it. No man wanted to see years and years of his hard work amount to nothing.
His fathers health condition had increased the harm in a thousand fold. Michael knew he had to get the company up and running quickly before his father gets to find out about it's bankruptcy as the news could send him to his early grave.
His father was all he had since birth. His mother had died while giving birth to him and his father never remarried. Though he hooked up with ladies he never brought them home. Michael loved and respected his father. Not only because he was his father but because he loved him.
Michael had thought about a way out and he knew that there was only one person capable of helping him out of this predicament. The person was none other than Felix Montenegro the great Spanish billionaire. Michael knew he had to see this Felix and see him soon.
He was a well known man who was feared and reverenced by many. His reputation preceded him and Michael was scared to shits about meeting him. Everyone knew Felix as the cold hearted billionaire who loved only money, power and power.
He had been in no relationship. No scandal, nothing. It was like he was a ghost.
Felix was only in the news when he conquered another state. He was a man that commanded affluence with an overwhelming charisma. Michael never liked men like him but he just had to see him. Desperate times called for desperate measures.
As he sat in the living room waiting for the security to give him permission to be seen by Felix. He couldn't help but be surprise that he was actually given the honour. It was suspicious as it was good.
Felix was the head of the largest empire in the united states and has been ranked top four amongst the world richest men by Forbes list. His breakthrough came in the massive increase of the stock of his company last five years. And in the last five years he has amassed more money and power and he has consistently remained on the top of the food chain.
Felix came from money so it was not a surprise to many how big he became. After all, his father was a senator and his grandfather the ex president. He was power and not everyone got to see him especially not a struggling businessman like Michael. Michael was rich in His standard but compared to Felix he might have well been a riffraff.
"Mr Felix will see you now." The secretary Informed Michael breaking his trail of thoughts. She had a beautiful smile on her face and she looked classy with her white suit and red accessories. He assumed she will be in her late fifties because of the grey hair that was tied in a ponytail. If she dyed her hair she would look weigh younger. She was pretty he though immediately taking a liking to her.
Mrs Bertha also took a liking to the young man standing. He was about 6 ft tall and very handsome. His grey eyes were so light she thought it was blue and his lips were very red she almost thought he wore lipstick. He was a fine young man. Not too huge but not lean either.
He looked gentle and anyone who could make her boss quiver like he did now certainly had her respect cause no one, absolutely no one made her boss as much as blink. Sometimes she wondered if he was a robot everyone did. But now she knew otherwise. At least she had seen something in his eyes now.
"Thanks. You look very pretty ma'am." Michael complemented her drawing a smile from her.
"Thanks and call me Bertha hun." She smiled Stretching her hands which Michael didn't take. Instead he kissed her chick and gave her a gentle hug. He had warned up into Mrs Bertha's heart that instant. Mrs Bertha blushed and ushered him into the massive office.
