Someone Cooked

"Your mother saw me." Ku Jie recalled the look in Ren Xinghe's mother's eyes, and he could immediately tell that she would not give up.

"You are so handsome. Even a blind person would see you." Ren Xinghe replied as she changed the subject.

Grandma Ren watched the both of them coming in, and then looked at their expressions on their faces as she asked, "What is with the expression on your face, little star?"

"It's okay, grandma. I met an acquaintance at the door."

Grandma Ren watched Ren Xinghe approach, and she reached out her hand and probed her forehead. After finding out that her fever had gone down, she felt a little more relieved as she asked, "Did you have breakfast?"

"Yes." Someone cooked it for her.

"Then, don't go to school today, okay? Take a good rest at home."
