"Well, Kaylene thought it would be funny to play a joke on them. Ever since first year she shipped Michelle and Samuel because they really do have good chemistry, so second year she decided to take action." Adam said.
"It was great!" Kaylene added, still laughing.
Isabella thought she knew where this was going...
"So one day at lunch they were eating together, teasing each other as usual and Kaylene crept behind them and grabbed their hands. Then she pushed them together and said 'just kiss already'. Michelle was so mad... Samuel was trying to hide his face but failed to because we all saw that blush. But then Michelle started to chase after Kaylene, which was unexpected."
"She chased me throughout the whole school before we got stopped by a teacher. She tackled me when we got to the common room, and she gave me a few bruises from poking me with her wand but overall it was worth it." Kaylene continued. "They forgot it fast, but I'm so sure they're in love now, especially after seeing both of their reactions."
"How come he wasn't on the train with her though?" Isabella asked.
"He always goes with the Slytherin Quidditch team. He'll be with us at lunch though, so you'll be able to meet him there." Kaylene said.
"Alright class dismissed!" Professor Bletchley (charms teacher) yelled, right after the bell rang.
They had one more class before lunch.
History of Magic, once again with Gryffindors.
Hopefully she wouldn't have to sit next to Potter.
But unfortunately, things were not in her favor today.
Mira sat on one side of her, while the other seat was empty. Adam was taking Ancient Runes instead of History of Magic so he wasn't here.
And just as the Professor (who was a ghost) was about to start teaching, Potter and his posse walked in late.
"Up at the front Potter." Professor Binns said, pointing at the seat next to Isabella.
"Ah, Isabella, right? We meet again." Nick said as he sat down next to her.
"Quiet, Potter." Professor Binns glared at him. Nick simply shut his mouth, and didn't say anything else.
"Alright, today will be easy class. Open your History of Magic text books to chapter one, take notes. You stop at the end of chapter one, if you wish to continue taking notes on chapter two, you may. We will be discussing chapters one and two next week. Turn in Notebooks by the end of tomorrow's lesson, unless you finish early."
And with that all you could hear was quills scribbling, pages turning and Professor Binns walking around every now and then to make sure they were working.
Twenty minutes into class, Isabella was over halfway done, but Potter on the other hand hadn't even finished his first page.
She rolled her eyes at him but then she quickly returned to work.
When Professor Binns walked (well, he actually floated, because he was a ghost) around, he noticed Potter's lack of work.
"Potter. Why haven't you started?" Professor Binns asked, sternly.
"Sorry sir, I'm just confused on what to write down, note taking isn't my specialty." Potter replied.
"Well then, since it is too early in the year to give detentions, we'll have to do something else...." He started "Isabella?"
Isabella was surprised to hear her name being called at first.
"Yes, Professor?"
"Would you mind helping Potter with his notes after school? He seems to not be able to get his work done in class, but you are a very diligent worker."
'Oh god. Working with.... him???' She thought. But she really couldn't refuse a teacher.
"I'll do it." She finally said. 'What have I gotten myself into?'
Nick could not believe she had agreed. He didn't think Professor Binns would go this far. In the past years he had simply given him detentions.
"Alright then, thank you, Isabella." He smiled at her.
"No problem...." she tried to smile back.
And with that class was over. Isabella, Mira and most of the Ravenclaw students turned in their notebooks.
Nick saw that she was about to leave, but she could not escape him again.
"Isabella!"
She continued walking but slowed down for him to catch up.
"So when are we gonna meet up?"
"Library, after last class."
"Oh, alright."
He continued to walk with her.
"Why are you still following me?" She asked.
"Don't you have your lunch period now? I do too. We're headed the same direction, I might as well stick to you." He said, with a cheerful tone.
"Ok but don't you have your friends to go with?"
"Yeah but they can wait for me at the table."
She was trying to get rid of him but it wasn't working. Then she saw Jane and Philip.
"Well see you later!" She said and ran away.
Nick stopped to stare at her run towards the two Hufflepuffs which she assumed they were her friends.
He liked to see her flustered face though. So he ran after her. She didn't notice that he was behind her so he leaned down to her ear and whispered "You can't ditch me that easily you know."
