After Gao Chen and Fua Lin arrived at the hospital, she immediately ran to where her grandma was, she was still panting when she reached the door and when her hand was already at the door handle a hand reached out and stopped her. "You looked like you ran a marathon." Gao Chen said while wiping the sweat from her forehead with a handkerchief and slightly arranging her dishevelled hair. She was so touched by his gesture, but she remained quiet as a faint blush started to colour her cheeks.

"Thank you," she said shyly while she opened the door ever so gently, and when she had a glimpse of her grandma, she let out a sigh of relief, she was no longer pale unlike yesterday, she's really going to be okay. Her eyes can't help but reddened, she really thought of the worst-case scenario that will happen to her beloved grandma. When she approached the bed, her grandma slowly opened her eyes, and seeing the worried look on her granddaughters face, she immediately tried to get up "Don't move yet grandma" Fua Lin immediately held her shoulders. "If I don't move, you might think I'm already dead Xiao Lin!" her grandma scolded.

"You looked like you have not rested well, do you think I would die that easily?" grandma said as she patted her cheek, she looked pale and there were also dark circles beneath her eyes.

"Grandma, please don't talk like that! Did you ever think what will happen to me if you're gone?" Fua Lin can't help but retaliate but her voice was shaking, and tears welled up in her eyes.

"I know Xiao Lin, that's why I don't want you to think about such negative thoughts. I promise that we will always be together, okay?" grandma softened her tone seeing the distressed look on her granddaughters face. She knew her too well that after she remembered what happened she immediately wanted to get discharged for she knew Linlin would be worried sick about her, and she was not wrong.

Grandma noticed that Gao Chen was patting Fua Lin, "And you Gao Chen! why are you standing so close to my granddaughter?!" she suddenly exclaimed. Gao Chen immediately stepped back even though he was uncomfortable with the distance between him and Fua Lin.

"If I had known better, I think you like my granddaughter!" grandma added, then she looked at both her granddaughter and the young man, both looked like they have been caught. "So it seems I am right. So have you confessed to Xiao Lin?" grandma added but her tone was strict directing her question to the young man.

"Grandma, the truth is..."Fua Lin started, her cheeks already a slight blush of red, why did the conversation suddenly turn into an interrogation

"Yes," Gao Chen said in confidence cutting whatever Fua Lin was about to say.

Grandma was not shocked at all for she already saw it with her own eyes on how this young man cared for her Linlin. "Good!" that was all she had to say, Gao Chen was a gentleman through and through and if anything did happen to her, she can be rest assured that someone will be taking care of Fua Lin unconditionally. She was not strict with her granddaughter, Fua Lin was mature for her age, so she knows that if she already made a decision, she already thought it through and will take responsibility for it.

Both Fua Lin and Gao Chen looked at each other and wondered what her grandma meant by "Good!". "Grandma!" Gao Quin exclaimed as she approached the old lady, "I'm glad to see that you are looking energetic as a usual grandma!" she beamed at her.

"It seems I am not the only one who is energetic Xiao Qin. Is this young man your boyfriend?" grandma couldn't help but question, this is the first time that she was seeing this good looking boy.
