Make Me Proud

"Grandfather, don't worry. I'm going to make them regret someday for making you suffer like this." A flash of determination shone upon her gray eyes.

"Don't stress yourself about the house, my child. Just do what you have to do and make them regret in the future!" Grandfather Fu patted her head and smiled at her dotingly. He'll always be at her side even if she does something wrong. He'll always be there for her.

'She's all grown up. I hope we can find Min Jun soon. I hope he is alive and well.' Grandfather Fu thought.

"En!"

The two men left her room while He Rue stayed with her.

"What are you going to do now? You knew that Grandmother of yours set up your Grandfather right?" Hearing what He Rue said, Min Ju instantly shut the door.

"Shh. Grandfather didn't know that I knew. That sly old fox. Even if she set up my grandfather with that documents that says my Grandpa are passing all his asset to her, I will take it back! One by one." Min Ju's expression darkened. That was her grandfather's long time hardwork! How dare they take it away from him! She knew all along that her Grandfather didn't actually gave the company to her grandmother willingly. He was set up on signing the papers. And her mother also participated on snatching what her father have.

Such unfilial. She cannot tolerate!

"I'll do anything. Rue, let's make an account in MySound. We will start our own music." Min Ju suggested.

"Are you teasing me?" Rue frown. "You know I don't know how to sing or record or something."

"I knew you would say that." Min Ju laugh as she walk towards the study table, opening the old computer. "Let me start making my account then." She said and started typing. As a game player, she definitely have fast fingers for typing. Min Ju's done for only 3 seconds.

He Rue watched her from the side and she can tell that Min Ju definitely play games especially when she wore her black headphone even though she's just setting an account. Does she have to wear her headphone whenever she's in front of the computer? Maybe because of playing games, she ended up getting used to it. Rue thought to herself.

"Done!" Min Ju stops and turn around looking at Rue.

Now that she's going to make her music, she definitely need some instrument. She's going to buy a piano that is mix and match of an arranger, digital, workstation, synthesizer and organ. Followed by an acoustic guitar. But, did she have the money to buy these instruments?

"Let's go shopping tomorrow." Min Ju sighed. She still have the money that Mrs. Jackson gave to her. She's procrastinating whether to use it or not.

That night...

Min Ju stared at the envelope in front of her and decided to open it. She saw a small paper and unfolded it reading what was written on it. It says, "Dear Min Ju, I wish you happiness and success in the future. I hope that you'll be able to used this money to buy music instruments whenever you decided to pursue music. Spread your wings and let the world hear your voice. —Aunt Megan Jackson"

Min Ju cannot help but tear. She was deeply moved. She is so nice. So nice that she wish she were her real mother.

Her eyes went wide when she saw what was inside. There are 5 cheques containing one million dollar each. And the cash that were inside are more than 100K. She clasped her mouth. Didn't Aunt Megan an owner of a flowershop? Why did she have this sum of money? Min Ju was so shock!

It's not surprising that Min Ju would be shock at the money she had. She only know Mrs. Jackson as a flowershop owner. However, she didn't know that Mrs. Jackson was actually a business woman. Gardening was her favorite hobby and with a whim build her own flowershop. The business company that she was working for a year was actually one of Mrs. Jackson's son's company. She was the one who recommended Min Ju to work there as an office assistant. That's why, even though she was still a minor she was able to work there.

Min Ju immediately dialed Mrs. Jackson's number with trembling hands. With one ring, the other side answered.

"Min Ju? Did you open the envelope? Were you surprise that's why you called me?" The woman on the other line gave an amuse chuckle.

"Aunt Megan, this...This is..." Min Ju stuttered. How can she accept these huge sum of money?

"I told you. It was a gift for you. Min Ju, you were geniune and always sincere with your work and always honest to others. I saw your determination everytime you face me. You were always ready to face the day. That's why I like you as a person. I hope you would not return that money to me. It was a reward for your hard work. You deserve it."

Min Ju remain silent. The kindness of this woman, she will never forget.

"Aunt, I don't know how to express how thankful I am. So please, accept my gratitude in the form of words. Thank you for showing kindness to me, Aunt Megan. I will never forget your action towards me." Min Ju said.

"Then...climb your way to success, Min Ju. That's the only way you can thank me."

"I will."

"Make me proud."
