Like A Cinderella Run Away

Mi Yin opened her lips and the words flowed like water. She was very nervous but she cannot messed things up. This is Min Ju's first music festival. Their first stage together.

Min Ju gave a reassuring smile when she looked at Mi Yin as if saying, "You can do it!"

Min Ju keep her hands dancing on the keytar. She was dancing and enjoying the song together with Mi Yin. How could she not when she was pouring her heart out? This affected her fans and they all chanted both of their names.

"Min Ju! Mi Yin!"

At the end of the song, Min Ju and Mi Yin bowed to the audience holding each other's hands.

The host immediately climb the stage to interview them. The glee on his face cannot be hidden.

"Ms. Mj and Ms. Yin, that was a great performance! All of us were very grateful at your presence her today and seems like the 'Shinings' are very curious towards the both of you. Will we have the opportunity to see your face today? Or in the near future?" He asked directly.

Min Ju touch her mask, attempting to removed it. However, the lights in the stage unexpectedly turn off.

She said, "Oops. We're out of time. It's already 10 pm! Maybe next time! Goodbye!" Min Ju grabbed Mi Yin out in the backstage in the cover of the darkness.

Once the lights were on again, both female were gone. However, there was something on the ground glinting and the host picks it up. It was Min Ju's moon brooch that accidentally fell from her chest when she was dancing.

"Go to Mj's dressing room now!" The host said. But, when the staff arrives at Mj's dressing room, they were already gone. Even the dozen bodyguards are nowhere to be seen.

The next day, news about Mj were all over the papers. News Flash: "Mj, the Cinderella run away, leaving her brooch." "Mj's and Mi Yin's performance at the music festival were a hit. Fans demands of an album."

"I still can't believe that we did it, Min Ju. Thank you for making me experience this." Mi Yin were watching TV together with the others.

"Anytime."

Min Ju left all of her friends in the living room. She leans her body in the doorframe as she look around. They were bodyguards surrounding the mansion.

She still haven't found a place yet for them to settle in safely. And she still haven't got over with the assassination attempt towards her.

The number that had texted her was a fake number or rather, that number doesn't exist. The perpetrator uses the satellite to contact her. So even if she keeps searching to find a lead, she won't find anything.

If you're asking for her brooch. Well, she will send someone to take it. That brooch were given by her grandfather Fu to her and to Mi Yin as a gift. For their first Music Festival performance.

Cinderella run away, huh? It doesn't sound bad. Min Ju chuckled at the thought.

"Hey, Mi Yin. Why don't you stay here in the house? You're living alone right?" She asked.

Mi Yin rubbed the back of her neck. She was pretty embarrassed.

"That would be embarrassing, Min Ju. I don't want to be a freeloader."

"Were working together and were gaining money. There's no need to feel bad about it. There are more rooms here. I really want you to be here. The more the merrier."

Qin Wuxie has a family and a home on her own. And Lin Zhu too. So even though she wanted to asked them, she can't since she doesn't want to robbed them off to their families.

The two would just visit the house if they wanted to.

"That would be great, Mi Yin! We love to have you around here. Living alone is lonely." He Rue was up to Min Ju's decision.

"Min Ji and Min Junlin would be visiting here for the first time too. I'm so excited for them to meet grandfather." Min Ju suddenly said. Although she had already given up about her parents she can't ignore her step siblings especially now that she knew about the fact that their father is missing.

Her brother wasn't found yet. And now her father was missing?! Just what kind joke does my life playing with me right now?!
