Life savior !
"Screech….!"
Yang Xi put brakes on her bike quickly making her bike to halt at the spot before looking back in the direction in which the two cars has gone. She quickly took U turn to follow the cars but then stopped right in front of the broken railing, it seemed one of the cars has fallen down the cliff, it was a kind of big accident she just witnessed, anyone who was inside the car might have died or may be on the brink of a death. She took out her phone to call 911 to report the incident as a responsible citizen of a country. This was the least she could do after all.
"Is someone there?"
Yang Xi looked around to see as to who spoke just now?
Wasn't she the only one there at the moment?
"Help"
"help me up!"
She looked in the direction from where the voice was coming from; a person was struggling as his grip was loosening on the rock he was hanging by….

Later at Yang Xi's apartment,
Yang Xi stared plainly at the man lying on her sofa. Her lips twitched at the thought as to why she has to go to these lengths and bring a stranger in her house? This was so unlikely of her.
Over the period of past four years she has became wary of people, she couldn't bring it in herself to trust anyone. She didn't have many friends to begin with but after the incident with Su Muyan and betrayal by her best friend Han Yu Yan, she closed all the doors to her heart. She became indifferent to anything and everything around her.
But looking at the scene in front of her she surely has done a useless deed yet again. She crossed her arms in front of her, and leaned back on the couch she was seating on.
Even though her sofa was king sized, his legs were hanging out halfway as he was quite tall…
Even in the dim light she could clearly see his handsome features...…..
His jet black hairs, sharp jaw line, even his nose looked like perfectly crafted piece of art….
And his lips....
'Wait!'
'What am I doing?'
'Why am I even thinking about it? And what's so good about him?'
She shrugged and averted her eyes from this man's exceptionally handsome face…..
'Why is it always that I have to get into one or the other trouble when I go biking....'
'Is it that difficult to enjoy peaceful ride for once at least?'
It was the same when she first saved the life of that certain someone while abroad.
"Ah….. It's always a trouble!" she sighed.
She breathed in deeply, before closing her eyes;
she slowly drifted off to sleep…..
But little did she know that the TROUBLE she thought that she brought home today was no ordinary man, that this man could change someone's life for good or destroy them with snap of his fingers.
He was the legendary CEO of Lee group of companies. Who took the business world by storm, he was known for his ruthless ways to make the things work the way he wants, and he was the most eligible bachelor, almost every girl in the Imperial dreamt of to marry.
Well, our Yang Xi wouldn't care less about anything though and unaware of the facts and figures she was snoozing on her couch.

It was slightly before dawn that he woke up from his sleep. He couldn't remember when was the last time that he slept this deep in the past decade. Always burying himself in piles of paper works and business issues till late night he hardly gets a good night's sleep.
After he sat up straight he finally noticed a girl, curled up into the ball on a couch, just like a tiny little cat taking a nap. He glanced at his arm and other parts of his body that were wrapped in bandages, that too way perfectly as if were done by an experienced or a professional doctor.
He again glanced up at the sleeping beauty on a couch. He couldn't believe this is a person that saved him last night. She looked so delicate and frail, contrary to the person he thought who saved him yesterday who brought him home that too at the 9th floor with so much struggle after he was injured and halfway unconscious, not only just that, she treated his wounds like an experienced surgeon. As it was dark at night without much of street light at the spot of accident and also in his unconscious state he didn't look closely that it was actually this delicate looking tiny little girl was his life savior!
He looked at her, mesmerized by her and warmth in his gaze, which couldn't last long as his expressions started to sour.
His earlier serene expression was gone and his brows started to furrow when he realized how she was sleeping on a couch, so uncomfortably. Won't she wake up with sore muscles the way she was sleeping right now?
Little did he know that compared to different random surfaces or things on which our Yang Xi fell asleep before, this was the most comfortable of an option, off course bed is still the first preference for sleeping nicely?
Owing to her weird sleeping habits for the past few years, she would wake up with sore muscles or neck and body ache the other day or worst, she would spend all night wide awake without getting a wink of sleep.
He contemplated the idea of carrying her to her bed and making her sleep comfortably. He couldn't do such thing to a girl right? To the girl who was still in her deep sleep.
What more they only just met yesterday. How can he touch a girl in her sleep just like that?
He pinched the spot between his brows before he bent down to slowly pick her up, he did so way too carefully that when he held her in his arms he almost didn't breath for a while worried that even that could disturb her sleep and would wake her up.
Yang Xi in his arms he walked to her bedroom…
'Why is she so lightweight?'
'This girl ! Does she even feed herself properly? '
Even when he had scraped his arm and had bandages on it still didn't hurt to carry her.
He placed her on her bed gently and covered her with a blanket.
Looking at her he really felt that she was no stranger to him. Ever since he laid eyes on her he knew for sure that they have met before in the past.
He sent a text to someone on his phone, stole one last glance on this angelic sleeping beauty and closed the door behind with soft click before heading out of her apartment.
