Chapter 54 : Owe her
Helping Mo Yan to analyze the culprit took quiet a lot of her brain juice since it had been so long she lasted made her brain work. Therefore, she feel asleep during their journey to the filming set.
The journey took two hours and that whole time the little woman leaned on his shoulder which somehow made him feel stiff. Having arrive the location, Mo Yan tapped her cheek lightly to wake her up.
"Hmm.. Arrived ?", Long Fei asked without batting her eyes. "Thank you", she said before she strode out.
Mo Jiu who acted as the driver couldn't help but lifted his two thumbs to Long Fei. He had never met anyone who dared to act without restraint in front if the king Yama. He was amused by how she could act as herself, friendly or indifferent as she wished toward the King Yama, as if the devil was her peer.
In the mean time, Zheng Yue Ying was struggling in giving birth to her child. It had been 13 hours for her bearing the pain, yet the baby still hadn't come out. The Zhou and Zheng family had been accompanying her while Zhou Sheng who had been in business trip had to rush back and had just arrived. When Zheng Yue Ying saw him, she immediately cried for him "Ah Sheng"
Though Zhou Sheng didn't like her calling him with the nickname from Zheng Yue Wan, he didn't mind it at the moment since he saw how much pain that she had been bearing. "I'm here", he held her hand. He could feel his hand being squeezed by her tiny hand when she suddenly felt the surge pain. "Ahhh....."
"The baby is coming out", the doctor announced.
"Push harder", the doctor instructed.
Looking at how painful it was to bear a child, Zhou Sheng felt a little grateful that the woman who was laying was not his Zheng Yue Wan. How much she would feel if she was the one who bore a child? Her body was so small and looked so fragile, what if things got wrong ? He couldn't imagine that.
It took around another fifteen minutes before the labour was done. Zheng Yue Ying who had used up all her energy then was wheeled back to the room. As per usual, the baby born was then brought to the baby room after it was seen by the family members.
The happy news was then heard by Zheng Yue Wan who was in the filming set. She was informed by Old Madam Zheng. "Really ? Such a good news. How is sister ? Is she fine ? How about the baby ? Is it a boy or girl ?", she shot all the questions in one breath which made Old Madam Zheng laugh "Little thing, which question should I answer first?"
"Ah.. I'm sorry grandma, I'm just too happy. Finally, sister can have a happy family."
"You.. I do not know what I should do to you",Old Madam Zheng sighed. All along, she knew what had happened in the family though she almost never stayed in the Zheng Mansion. She knew the love story between Zhou Sheng and Zheng Yue Wan to how Zheng Yue Wan sacrificed her happiness for Zheng Yue Ying despite of Zheng Yue Ying's despicable mean.
"I owe her", she smiled.
Old Madam Zheng understood what she meant. She knew that Zheng Yue Wang had felt guilty as her presence ruined the happy family of three.
"Your sister is fine, it's a baby boy."
"Okay! I got it. I will send over the gift to my nephew. Grandma, could you please help me to hand it over?"
"Isn't it right for you to hand it yourself?"
Her presence would only cause ruckus between Zhou Sheng and Zheng Yue Ying, and she didn't want that. She had decided to walk out from their lives so it had better not to meet each other.
"I'm filming. I can't visit her myself. Grandma, please help me"
"Okay. I got it."
"Then, It's decided. Grandma, I need to practise my lines. I'll call you another time. Do not stay so late."
As soon as she ended up the call, she immediately broke down. Her manager who saw how sad she was couldn't help but hugged her. She didn't know why she cried. She clearly had decided to cut all ties with him, but when she heard that another woman bore a child for him, she felt that someone squeezed her heart.
It took several hours before her cry ceased. She then went to back in hope that there would never be another day for her.
