Chapter 74 : The hidden princess
That night was such a tiring night for Tang Wei. Hence, she dove into the bed as soon as they reached home. Han Zhi Fan who didn't know what she had encountered could only took her into his embrace for the whole journey in the car.
He looked for her for quiet a long time, fearing that she would face any mishaps. At last, he found her sluggish self walking out from the rest room. She didn't say anthing else besides "I want to go home." Therefore, he didn't think twice and immediately called the chaufuer.
He could only sigh helplessly at his wife. He walked to her side and helped her to take off her heels. He then covered her with quilt. He went to the bathroom and brought out a damp towel. He helped the woman to cleanse her face.
After taking care of her, Han Zhi Fan then went to take a shower. Upon coming out from the bathroom, he saw the woman frowned, her hand tightened the quilt, she shed tears in her dream. 'What on earth exactly that she had encountered ?' He asked himself desperately.
Pulling her into his arms, he finally could see her relaxed. Tapping her back gently, he tried to coax her to sleep. After making sure that her breath was even, he took his phone which was on the tableside and sent an order to his subordinate.
The next day, there were headlines everywhere about Tang Wei who personally flipped the table around for the white lotus, Tan Ru Yi. However, none of the media dared to mention about her relationship with Han Zhi Fan or slander Tang Wei as a mistress. It was because none of them dared to offend Han Zhi Fan.
The media focused on attacking Tan Ru Yi and the netizens were happy to mock at her. The family's business was also affected as its stock price got lower and lower, thanks to the princess' bad reputation and Han Zhi Fan's suppressing. No one dared to help the Tan Family after they found out that Han Zhi Fan was the one behind their collapse, therefore Tan Family was ceased from the the elite family list the next few days.
As for Tang Wei, she only stayed at home for the past few days where the whole country was in chaos. She didn't know what had happened during the time as she didn't turn on any electronic devices as if she wanted to vanish from the world. She spent her days looking out the window. When Han Zhi Fan talked to her, she would only react shortly.
The atmosphere in the house was gloomy like how the mistress felt. Han Zhi Fan also stayed at home accompanying his wife. He had known who she had met before she shut herself out. The information that he got was actually quite surprising. For these few years of him looking after her from distance, he only focused on her well-being and helped her through everything she did. He never had any thoughts to check her background or so on.
In fact, he didn't care where she came from as long as she was fine. After all, it was his promise to that person. He had never thought of her as the hidden princess of the Tang family. Then, that person.. why did that person live in such a juncture when they were young ?
