At a distant, smoke and war cries can be heard as Thamuz's army engages the Paxley's castle. The smoke rose up high that it can be seen from afar. "They're strong in numbers... our army cannot withstand their oppression!" The head mage warned his fellow subordinates. "All of you that are left must protect the castle at all costs!" The head mage commanded. Mourir!!!", "Die you unearthly fools!", "Hey! le Messieur's in bonne? (The master's in good condition?)", asked the Enchantress. "Yes! We have prepared Sir Antoinne's chariots for our escape if things will turn upside down!", A mage replied while snagging his breath "Damn it! I should've eaten up my pride earlier." The head mage babbled. At a frequent time, abyssal demons and undead soldiers kept on appearing everywhere, surrounding the castle. A huge explosion banged up inside the castle hall and there appeared Moskov, a long-haired demon wielding a chaos-infested spear. Its outside is surging with dark energy. "Hehe pleasure doing business with you!" Moskov laughed. We can't hold them any longer!", a mage shouted while catching his breath. "No! No one's leaving not until I say so!", The head mage cried out. After a few moments, Antoinne, the head of the family and Gusion's father walked in bringing a magical scroll and a twilight orb. "I know the reason why you are all here and that is because of this mysterious orb!", The head of the family yelled knowingly. "What a great artifact!" grinned Moskov. "My queen told me everything about that twilight orb, it is said to be having a great power of destruction! If that's so, then I'll be having my hands on that to satisfy my self in vengeance!", Moskov assumed an offensive stance by pointing his spear towards Antoinne. "I'll be giving you two options... One is through peaceful negotiation... The second is... Violence! You choose, your majesty!" Moskov's voice having a threatening prosecution, then Antoinne opened the scroll. White light glistened out of the scroll and he placed the twilight orb upon it and the scroll devoured the orb and slowly it transforms into a weapon, a shimmering obsidian dagger! "You dare. And I say to you... You can have it over my dead body monster !", Antoinne shouted.
The hidden history of the Paxley family, the twilight orb is passed for generations to generations signifying honor and upright and not knowing the hidden power of it. Due to the fact that they're mentally prejudiced towards melee weapon fighting techniques which was actually not real because from the first to the sixth generation of the family were known to be honorable and praiseworthy in sword techniques, it was mysteriously abolished and the elders kept it a secret. The current head of the family, Gusion's father was the only person who knew the secret, he wasn't able to tell Gusion about it since Gusion left them rebelliously with his heart loathing for them. But if ever having a chance of Gusion to come back, he would tell him wholeheartedly and accept the hidden truth about the family's household.
But time is running out, Moskov rushed unguardedly and was about to throw his spear, Antoinne rushed likewise, Moskov could not fetch because of the shortness of the distance so he decide to fight in close meters but still he is on a great disadvantage. Moskov twirls his spear and throws an impaling attack, Antoinne hastened to dodge the spear and after successfully dodging it, he launches a powerful cut that sliced Moskov's right shoulder Moskov leaped back with blood sprinkling out of his shoulder then he aggressively throws a handful of spears at Antoinne but it was so slow that he could dodge it. Then Antoinne initiates an executing attack mid-air. But it was all just Moskov's trick. Moskov swiftly dashed at the back of Antoinne and throws his spear with the power of darkness surging on it. Gusion's father fell down into the floor, dropping the obsidian dagger. "Heh! You wish old man!", Moskov grinned. Moskov then was about to pick up the dagger and then at a certain speed of light, someone slashed Moskov's right hand. Moskov was shocked and then the same thing happened again, his left leg was sliced and eventually ended up to a fatal cut then he falls into the ground with pain and agony. "SON OF A!!! ARRGGHHH!!!!", Moskov groaned in suffering. Behind him stands a man cloaked in a fine golden robe with red trimmings and is holding a dagger. The man picked up the shimmering obsidian blade. The mages around fell in deep shock and surprise when they knew it was the prodigal son of the head of the family, Gusion. "M-monsieur! Where have you been all the time?!", The head mage shouted in great relief. Gusion kneeled down upon his father's corpse. "I'm back pa! I did not wish this to be your end!", tears falling down from Gusion's eyes. He's quite having the guilt inside for not obeying his father's bids knowing that it was already too late for him.
He stood up and picked up his father's dagger. "Madness, captivated this world... and it is all because of you, you damn loathsome demons!" Gusion angrily choke Moskov one-handedly and raised him pointing his dagger towards him. "You live your life filled with slaughtering, anger, and vengeance! You all kill people just to satisfy your hunger for blood and sadism! You shaped up this world, stepping on to those who are weaker! You gain your self-gratitude by seeing how people suffer in your hands! That thing... is the only thing... that I could not allow to happen from now!" Gusion with his heart burning in anger and was blinded by pure vengeance ought to kill Moskov. "You talk about justice? You're too naive to do so!", Moskov laughed. "I was once like you, longing for glory and honor, wanted to have a peaceful life, but those dreams doesn't seem to be existing in this world! I was... born, not in evil nor in good. But the sin of having those desires, nothing can atone the sin. The fruit of believing in that will result in just purely... evil. The principle behind this wretched world is also just purely evil in its natural form! You won't gain any goodness because in everything you do even if you knew that it is good is actually evil. I am surprised that there are actually people aside from me who believed in that lie. Even if you kill me right now, can you even justify to all that what you are doing is actually good? Maybe for your fellows right there who believed and served the light... but will it be the same also when it comes to my fellows? The two opposing factions of light and darkness... he he he poor playthings.", Moskov held his hand on Gusion's dagger.
"Kill me or i'll take my own life instead! You want satisfaction over blood right? We're certainly just the same he he he!", Moskov grinned weakly and laughed. "I am... not like you! I'll act on for my dreams and believe what is right. The absence of a certain truth in this world is the one and only definite truth, it depends on what we believe in. And if I fail, at least i've done my part in walking the road of my dreams! Indeed there is no good in this world, but yet there is also no evil! I will continue to serve the goodness I know and you can't do anything about it!" Gusion dropped Moskov. "Take him, and finish off the remaining enemies!" Gusion yelled at the mages. "But Monsieur, they kept on growing and growing in numbers and our troops couldn't hold on to their oppression anymore!" The Enchantress retorted. "Don't worry, the Moniyan armies are on their way now so hold it a little longer or else the legacy of our family will end here. Understood?!", Gusion replied. He placed his father's dagger inside his cloak and walked among the halls that was flooded with blood and corpses. "I need to find the Dawn Maiden!" he mumbled.
